I miss California. Everyone I run into here in KY that talks smack about CA doesn't understand that CA is full of stuff like this. You can't get these views, food, or culture in the Midwest.
Then move there if you love it so much.
You have to remember how many idiotic people that live in KY… worship their messiah DJT and believe that socialism is a death wish to the US. to them California is where all them “libs” they are deathly afraid of live.
Bro I completely understand. People that never been there love to talk so much smack about California. Despite their government completely destroying their state it really is one of the best places in the United States.
KY doesn't have bad spots tho. Especially if you're in Louisville

Being a Venturian if that’s a word your video depicted it perfectly. I frequent many spots that you went to and look forward to going to some that I haven’t yet. Now when people ask me where I live I can just forward them your video because that’s pretty much what it is.
Ventura is a great spot! Next you need to come check out San Clemente. Its another gem on the California coast. Everyone thinks Orange County is crazy busy but this town is so far south that it still has the small surf town vibe and is super chill.

I grew up in the Avenue area of Ventura in the 60s and 70s. Left in the mid-80s for employment... Although it has changed a lot, there's still nothing like Ventura. Love to get back home when I can! Well done video.

Ventura literally looks like it could be a city south of the border. If you didn't give me any context, I couldn't have guessed that it was in California. I've never been to California (or the West Coast) but I plan to take a long trip there one day. Might be the most beautiful state in the country.

It’s neat to see the evolution of my hometown. First thing I appreciate is your proper pronunciation of Ventura (not VentCHura) so thank you for that. I lived on the Avenue then on the east end then back near the Ave and east again before I moved away. I miss home all the time but love to visit still because of exactly this..the food, the views, the shops, the chill vibes, family, friends and the memories. Great content.

Ventura is definitely an overlooked place! You got absolutely great weather for the Channel Islands. We are 0 for 2. Kayaked in a crazy rainstorm through the caves, and rained on for a hike to Smuggler's Cove.

California Downtown is booming!! Its getting really cosmo in downtown Los angeles, god bless california for many reasons that its fabulous, so many places to go, and visit and ride buses and walk day and night the best place.

I moved to Manhattan Aug 2020 from Westlake Village which is 25 min away. I used to hate all the railheads on Main St . Now after living in NYC I’ll take the Ventura Crackheads ! Moving back soon to be back near my family and grown kids.

Loved living there, but definitely more crowded. Big kite surfing community there- I loved eating my lunch on the beach and watching the kite surfers!

I love visiting the greater Los Angeles metro area! Will definitely try that pizza soon! It's hard to get to Ventura via public transportation! Are you still in Ventura area because I know of a cool graffiti tunnel that has some Amazing art on it
