If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Santa Fe NM. I was there years ago for Fiesta and just fell in love with it. It's 400 years of history!
WOW!!! Loved this!! Glad I had it pop up!! Brought lots of memories back!! Went to Jr High and High school there from 1963 to 1968. The high school was downtown just North of the plaza until they built the new one South of town around 1966. I use to run those streets every day. Canyon Road was my favorite. The hippies were all over that street back then. Lots of "Weed" and lots of hippies with not much clothing on!!! LOL!!! Use to be able to watch them blow glass figurines, etc. Kinda looks really rich for my taste now. I heard the property on Canyon Road is worth millions now. Thanks for bringing back memories. Back then it had a population of about 50K. I think during the tourist season that number would double almost every day.
Wait! It just dawned on me. YOU are the biggest ambassador for the state of New Mexico.....even the tourism department doesn’t promote it as well as you do! Thank you Jaime!
@barneyRubble lo siento mi amigo. ya fuimos allí y nos encantó. todos fueron muy amables y acogedores ... me alegro de no haber conocido a ningún compañero como tú.
The Wifey and I LOVE Santa Fe. We went there a couple years ago for our anniversary and fell in love with it. The Loretto Chapel, the older shops with the courtyards around the the big cathedral and The Plaza were our favorites. We will be going back! Enjoy the vlogs. Safe travels.
I cant believe I'm just seeing this now! Great video keep up the goid work. You should come back to Santa Fe during fiestas! It really brings out the people and history of Santa Fe!
@Barney Rubble pero Webber! Everything going on in the plaza and he doesn’t do anything about it. He’s trying to erase our history. He needs to get out of office
I've been called to Santa Fe for a couple years now. I hope to move their in 8 months to get my masters in art therapy/counseling. I am getting out of an abusive relationship and realise I will be moving there by myself. Your video has truly inspired me to keep my head up. I am so moved by the beauty of Santa Fe and I can't wait for the day that I see it in person. I will definently break down in tears when I make it there. Thank you
Alexis, Santa Fe is one of my fav places ever. I've considered moving there myself. So happy for the progress your making and for the day you call Santa fe home. Wishing all the best for you and your future 💓💓
Go back to your abusive relationship every so often. It will make you appreciate a good one. No wait. That is like beating you head against a wall because it feels good when you stop. Santa Fe is beautiful, I agree, as is a lot of New Mexico!
Thanks for this tour...I have my sights on moving to the SW, and I considered Santa Fe (mostly for the adobe architecture but, per this video, for the cultural aspects)...my concern is (what I have read about) the higher cost of living there...
Really enjoy your videos. You have a real talent for recording the sights & sounds, a little subtle background music and just the right amount of necessary commentating. Keep up the good work Jamie !
Looks pretty cool; I’ve not been to Santa Fe since I was a wee lad......caught my first fish up in the mountains!! Must’ve been 5, or 6 at the time!!☺️ you were quite blessed with wonderful weather
The Desert Speaks (program on PBS/KUAT) has a excellent historical primer on El Camino Real as it relates to the development of both Albuquerque and Santa Fe
I'd like to know more about the spiral staircase. It would certainly be a challenge for one man with a few primitive tools and no help. Most spiral staircases have a center support column and this one doesn't. A beautiful piece for sure.
I live in Santa fe nm....pretty boring here though if your used to living here theirs nothing fun to do expect to go to abq, but the downtown here is amazing great food, nice people, and amazing places
🌵Was just out there a few weeks ago. Your vid brought me back for a minute. Big up Meow Wolf & Whole Foods, both on Cerillos Blvd. I miss the neighborhood house I stayed at on Agua Fria St. Santa Fe Brewery beer was a good local find as well..🌵🌠
Santa Fe, one of my favorite cities. I always stay for a day or two, on my way up two the enchanted circle. Which is in a class by itself. My thumbnail is north of Questa at Wild Rivers Recreation Area. And I live in Missouri, enough said!
I grew up in north Idaho, looks like alaska, but I do like that new mexico vibe.. even though there are no trees, I like it for some reason. I never got up to santa fe, nice vid!
Jamie, do yourself a favor when you can afford it and get a Google pixel II XL if you plan on continuing to use your phone for video. V30 is a great choice for smartphone video too.

I live here now moved from the east coast built a house in the mountains and I love it here!!!
Thank you for not narrating all the way through, it was so lovely and relaxing just to watch what you filmed without a lot of commentary. Great job!!
Con todo nuevo mexico México se parece más auna ciudad mexicana que a un pueblo americano ,Nuevo México jamás podrá negar su herencia y raíces.

I love this kind of videos, where you see what there is, no more, no less. Thank you.
I've taken that same stroll through Santa Fe numerous times over the years but it looked much better when you did it.

There’s the Jemez area (los ojos )the vet memorial is quite the must see in Angel Fire, and of course Taos...the list is endless. Keep on truckin...
Great work! I especially liked how warmly you interacted with the vendors. And your musical choices were on point.
Great video. My family and I are headed to Santa Fe on Tuesday for a week! Can not wait to explore that part of the country. Thank you.
@barneyRubble lo siento mi amigo. ya fuimos allí y nos encantó. todos fueron muy amables y acogedores ... me alegro de no haber conocido a ningún compañero como tú.
Wonderful video. My sister and I will be moving there in about a week!
You really captured the character and beauty of our capital. Great job.

Perfect place for domestic violence ahaha lmfao
Good luck...ever since I stayed there for a few days, I loved the town! And as you know lots of history. Just something about the desert I guess.

I hope you are well and have made the move.
You picked a great time of year to be there.I love SF in the fall!
Hello from England we love you x great film lovely music choice all round excellent well done you x
The light and sky are beatiful in this video. A real contrast to Ireland in December, where I live.
Thanks for this tour...I have my sights on moving to the SW, and I considered Santa Fe (mostly for the adobe architecture but, per this video, for the cultural aspects)...my concern is (what I have read about) the higher cost of living there...
I like these types of videos. I woke up one day feeling like I need to move to Santa Fe though I never been.
I'm from Albuquerque but growing up I was lucky enough to spend my summer's on my uncle's ranch in Santa fe... great video's!
Wonderful video! On my bucket list to go 🤍

In my travels all over, IMO, New Mexico has some of the best food I have ever tasted. Hope you come to CO soon.

Would love to visit NM some day. Really liked the guitar player at 4:00 - love resonator guitar playing!
Are there any coffee shops? It seems like a lot of art type stores, but eateries/coffee shops? Community hang outs other than the one park?
Yes, there many including Starbucks. They are mainly showcasing the ‘touristy ‘ areas...
Virginia Nickeson lol, Starbucks,boo. ;)
Many cool, quiet parks as well as unique coffee shops /cafes. It's a foodie town so you can definitely find something you'll like =)
The Desert Speaks (program on PBS/KUAT) has a excellent historical primer on El Camino Real as it relates to the development of both Albuquerque and Santa Fe

I live in west side New Mexico here in ws nm it's cold❄🌧but i love it so much 💯💯💯
CRAZY RIDERS I didn’t think it got cold in New Mexico. Learn something new everyday
you have a real penchant for videography, photography and voice-over work.
Love the area, and hope you go see the mountains and red rock, too... Also, great story about the church. Wanna see more of you, though ))
I love New Mexico. Hope I can live there soon. Just kinda stuck where I’m at :(
I live in Santa fe nm....pretty boring here though if your used to living here theirs nothing fun to do expect to go to abq, but the downtown here is amazing great food, nice people, and amazing places
I want to be close to a damn whataburger. Albuquerque is as north as they go.
🌵Was just out there a few weeks ago. Your vid brought me back for a minute. Big up Meow Wolf & Whole Foods, both on Cerillos Blvd. I miss the neighborhood house I stayed at on Agua Fria St. Santa Fe Brewery beer was a good local find as well..🌵🌠
How's Albuquerque? It's somewhere im considering because I like the desert a lot and the area around it seems super nice, and not very expensive.
Hi Jamie!.... it's good that you are back on the road again...maybe a shorter day-trip this time...as always you look amazing!!!
Beautiful chapel , thank you for caring and sharing .
I think they have a restriction. I live here in SF and think the tallest building is maybe 3 stories tall.
This looks like such a nice place and I would love to visit.
So did you love it being where I call home.
That food looked really good.. awesome video !
Great Video, Thank you. Keep having fun.

Great tour and beautifully done!
very nice presentation
Excellent job
Thanks!
Thank you!
Jamie, do yourself a favor when you can afford it and get a Google pixel II XL if you plan on continuing to use your phone for video. V30 is a great choice for smartphone video too.
Btw when nuns (or anyone else) pray for nine days straight it’s called a novena. It’s a very powerful form of prayer and I’ve seen it work myself.
Great music!
I totally can see me thinking the peacock was fake too. The filming and narrative on the church and staircase were so good Jamie! I loved this video.
the only question is, red or green?
They both sound good but I'll take Christmas! 🌶🎄!
Green
That's the unanswerable and never ending question in New Mexico? Gotta love it. My answer Organic Mild Green Chiles. I need to be back home.
Dude when in New Mexico the only choice can be green if you ain't eatin green you you're weird
Lovely tour. Thank you.
Love your content and I love Santa FE. Such a beautiful place
Great video! Make more please. Good job!!!
Hope you make it to Colorado soon
Does it snow here? What parts of NM doesn't get any snow and is hot or very mild all year?
pretty much every city in central nm from abq to las cruces on i25 rarely get snow except in foothills and mountain areas
Are there any tall buildings in Santa Fe...? Anything resembling a skyline???
It's a normal day for me like that I live in santa fe new mexico
Good job
I love that place.
That bigger turkey looked like he was ready for thanksgiving lol
Looks cold.
