We should not be surprised if some hobbits jumped out somewhere 😂but the camera doesn’t do justice to the forest.

This coral forest seems more mossy than the last few trails you went to in Cameron Highlands. Very beautiful trek!

My mother is from Temerloh and I used to stay at her village for quite a few years. I was still in my teens back then. One day, I with a few of my friends from the villlage, decided to venture into the deeper level of the jungle and trust me, it was noon then but upon entering the deeper level of our jungle, everything become darker...we only saw the ray of the sun like a needle hole size only and it's very rare.
I was supposed to be helping my late grandfather to do rubber tapping but my friends allured me, saying that they wanted to collect my favorite fruit which is the wild BUAH SALAK, and i think we had accidentally gone too far into the jungle, I don't think we were still in Temerloh that time. The time we heard a chuffing and little growling noise like it was close nearby, the oldest amongst us told us to run, and we ran like we have seen a ghost.
FYI, when we hear chuffing or growling and the sound is like from a very far distance, beware, because that means the Tiger is already too close to us. We may be a handful that time but running away like that, will actually excite the tiger to pounce and attack us.
Once when we're already at one of our friend's home, the moment we told our friend's father about what we have done and encountered, each of us received several lashings and he won't stop until we are all in the Pahang River. We were force to bath ourselves in the river from Asar (4 am something) up until Isyak (9 am something).
The Tiger will never stop looking for their supposed prey, regardless it be other animals or even people; and it will hunt the prey down even if it has to cross mountainous terrains.. The elders in our village believe that the act of soaking ourselves in the river after an encounter with the Tiger was meant to cleanse off and abolish any marks from that Tiger, since usually Tigers will mark their prey using their super sense of smell.
After alerting the authority, within a few days, a tiger has successfully been captured whilst wandering around our nearby village. Two buffalo carcasses were found nearby.
So it will be irresponsible for us to blindly and indiscriminately venture into the deepest level of our jungle without prior authorization because, without having any basic and survival skills whatsoever, we might attract dangerous and wild carnivores without us realising. Some time in a few years ago, there was one case which occurred at an area nearby the border of Selangor and Perak where a wild tiger was found wandering down the main rural road there. And I immediately knew how that Tiger entered the nearby villages. Thanked goodness, no one was harmed.
Nowadays it is considered a crime to enter the deepest level of our jungle without prior authorization. And trust me, at this age and with the trauma I have, though I’m offered a million dollars or two, it won't be enough to ask me to hike and venture into the deepest level of our jungle. 😂
So, if you've ever wanted to try reaching the deepest level of our jungle, please be sure that you're with the authorized local person to guide you. Anyways, good to see your video, it's like walking down my memory lane. Thank you and enjoy the beauty of our country and always be safe yea.

Less than 2 weeks ago, a 27 year old male orang asli travelling from Jerantut to Gua Musang through deep jungle was killed by a Tiger. Wild life authorities are trying to trap the tiger and relocate it from the area.

@@samraj3179 Oh my, i'm very sorry to hear about this. Since our Tiger is already categorized as endangered animal, I do hope our authority will capture that Tiger and place it into the safest zone. And I hope the family of our Orang Asli will also be compensated as well. This made me realized how much fortunate I am to have miraculously escape death from that creature. I love hiking but never will I ever enter the red zone or the deepest level of our forest.

@@dananna8614 glad to hear that my life experience enlightened you 😊
I hope this will not scare off you guys from being adventurous but, must always remain alert and be equipped with authorization so that you will have the authorized personnel to guide you. Our jungle is heavenly to explore, there's still so many species of plants and creatures that haven't been discovered yet but again, before exploring let safety be our main priority 😉

Guys, no matter what, there are venomous snakes and insects in forests like this, you definitely do not want that to you ruin your vacation. In case you are traveling to East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak), make sure to ask your guides about crocodiles as crocodile attacks have been there since the beginning of time. Be careful please.

Is there a limit to the number of visitors to the mossy forest. From what can be seen in the video there were a lot of damage was already being inflicted on the moss by people trampling on the moss because there no special tracks or paths to follow.
