      Thank you very much. We just need some healing time now. As for Buyeo and Daejeon, the weekend didn't exactly go as planned and I didn't get to see or do as much as I wanted, but I'm working on the video now. I will be returning to Buyeo, there is soooo much to see and do there.

    Wow! you went to my hometown. Dangjin. Now, I live in SOCAL. You brought back memories. My mom loved to visit Sudeoksa because it was beautiful and had all female monks.

      That whole area of Dangjin and Seosan is quite nice, but not a very big tourist spot. I will be going back to that area this weekend on a work trip :) Cheers!

    i just came across your Youtou channer ! and i love your accent
    So here's a question for you , where in Cananda did you come from ?
    (i'm planning to move to Candana and live there for about one year, but i'm stuggling to decide where i live in Canada. the purpose of my visit is to learn english though )

    • @DanDoesKorea

      Hey^^ I'm from Ontario. Born in Toronto, but never really lived in the city. Usually when people move to Canada to improve their English, Vancouver or Toronto are the top pics. I'd recommend either if you don't mind the high prices in those cities. Avoid Quebec since it's mainly french spoken there. And the east coast (I've never been ) is beautiful, but they definitely have a unique accent over there.

    Off topic question, and this is an important question to me because maybe I might move to Korea one day. I am really thinking about it. How often are you bombarded with K-pops ads? And how often do you have to try to ignore k-pop?

    • @DanDoesKorea
      @DanDoesKorea  3 роки тому +2

      Great question! Haha I am not a fan of K-pop. I generally just ignore anything I see, but I'm not a big consumer of Korean media. I have students who talk about BTS all the time, but I just ignore it and try and turn them onto "better" music, haha

    Do Korean girls prefer bearded men or clean shaven ? Trying to think what appearance I should bring when I go to Korea.

    • @DanDoesKorea
      @DanDoesKorea  3 роки тому +1

      haha good question. I think Koreans in general don't like beards. I think it has a little bit to do with the fact that beards are different, and being 'different' isn't a goal for the majority of people over here. Everyone wants to dress and look the same. So to answer your question, I would generalize and say most prefer clean shaven, and possible wearing a business suit or something posh. That's not me, haha

      @@DanDoesKorea I see
      You know the system has changed and you can get your document authenticated free and it's now in the hands of the Global Affairs Ottawa. I sent my documents early this week. That saves me a few hundred dollars ! I am teaching some Japanese girls on Tuesdays besides my other ft job. When I get my documents back at the end of the month, will be feeding them into recruit agencies in hopes to work in Korea in February. Have a good weekend
