- What a way to end my time in Vava'u! I thought I'd be trying kava by myself, but was joined by a group of local men (including the chief) for a kava party with live music :)

It was a great evening. It doesn’t show on the video but that party went on about 3 hours with lots of interesting conversation. You’ll meet lots of cool people while there :)

I spent 2 months in vava’u. Had an amazing time! And my last night with the kava and older gentlemen was a highlight for sure. Your dad made a brief appearance in one of the other videos during a funeral procession. I think the one called “trips into neiafu” next time you are talking to him tell him I really appreciate that night and all the stories I heard
