My favorite game on Switch is playing WRC10 with the Mario Kart steering wheel. If you really like racing games but don't have the budget, I recommend the xbox series S.
I know it's not a racing game.....but they NEED to bring Twisted Metal to the Switch......it would be an easy port.....and it's not like they would need to downgrade any of the games.
I may be the only one who likes V-Rally 4. Switch version isn't the smoothest but it's an easy top5 racing game for me. Also Art of Rally and Gear Club Unlimited 1/2 should be in top20.
I just got burnout paradise it looks and runs amazing, only problem is it really is not as good as midnight club los Angelos. Or need for speed most wanted. If they added pedestrians to burnout paradise it would have made it way better
burnout paradise and podracing are the fastest, craziest racers ever. been enjoying those since they came out. pure devil speed and balls. funny how so many on this list are retro games.

Triggers will by the main upgrade for Switch 2, and pressure sensative buttons perhaps and larger screen in a reasonable size to make it pocketable. We shalle see.

Honestly, the only game I personally consider a worthy "racing" title out of these is grid. Too bad i already have it and have experienced the current peak of racing games for switch. Besides maybe 3 others, the rest of the list can definitely move into different categories rather than RACING. because yea, the vast majority of users searching racing games are looking for star wars racing or mario cart racing or one of many extremely outdated arcade racing games. 🙄 we all know what genre of racing games most look forward to playing, so please, whatever you do dont put any effort toward acquiring such titles for the switch playform. There are NO decent racing games for Nintendo Switch. It's a twelve year old system the equivalent of an X box 360. It couldn't run a bath, never mind any 4K racing game at 60 FPS. As for Mario Kart, isn't it about time Nintendo grew up and stopped releasing the same old turgid crap, I have had more fun with Beam NG on Steam then any Nintendo racing game ever... period!
So, that’s like saying there are no fun racing games on the 360, which clearly isn’t true. Hotshot racing is great. Horizon chase turbo also good The main issue I have is the digital control thumbsticks. Unlike the analog nature of other systems controllers.

I've been with Nintendo since Game Boy but five years ago after a quick research I bought GPD Win 2 for the shere amount of PC games that weren't available on Switch. And I had much better variety in games for lower prices with instant access to any PC release with no need to wait years for a vague chance of a port of any game. After years of experience with UMPCs and growing popularity of Steamdeck I don't think Nintendo will have any chance next generation aside their core fanbase they had on GameCube or WiiU.

I'd add Rush Rally 3 aswell. A fantastic arcade rally game like SEGA Rally.
