I really enjoyed this! That was really cool and very satisfying to watch! I really like how despite setbacks, you just made things work- that's the spirit of DIY that I really admire. Great project- makes me want to do similar. I'm curious also- how much RAM does the system have by default, and why not upgrade it to double via the empty slot? Or maybe you since have? Anyway, very cool video and project, thank you!
I found your really great, but just one suggestion whenever you design something, make sure you account for the required tolerances based on the material you will be using that way you won't have to resize it again to fit it properly. In Engineering we follow a standard Design guidelines to account for it, I am pretty sure you find similar guidelines for 3d printing online or in the machine manufacturers website.

Is there a website where I can buy acrylic boxes that can be used to open holes and install the parts of a laptop to make a DIY desktop? I've searched on Amazon and can't find anything...
I'd like to try this on my laptop but the enclosure is my problem, would be nice if there are premade case for this type of projects available out in the market
Nice job! A question though: how did you connect the LED lights to the motherboard? Just using aome USB port? Cause it seemed you made some other connection but i cannot tell for sure. Thanks!
Thnks !! As for the LEDS depends on the voltage… You can use the pins on USB yes if it is 5V or you can search for another 5v source on the motherboard…
Hmmm. you dont need to do nothing special.. Just connect it to external monitor.. Make shure that is nothing wrong with memory, or anything else! Double check!
Well you could use a battery i dont use because i have another laptop similar that uses the same battery and i keep it but you can also use that wall sockets with power surge protection…
haha.. I mean that was pretty obvious, but I was wondering if there was another work around that you can place on the system itself that's not pretty large. but placing the battery is probably the best idea.
Really nice idea to use such a destroyed notebook. But, if I would make it, i think i choose better speakers instead of this mini speakers. But, like it.

Hey
Where on the laptop did you get the power for the LEDs from?
I track a 5v power line and solder a wire … i think if i can remember just next to a usb port
Does it recommend to build an cover case at any broken laptop case cover just this. Does it safe for heat on a motherboard?
This type of builds normally are safer than the laptop it self in terms of thermal because theres much more room for the parts to cool !
