I’m so jealous! I had a 76 FJ back in the 80s. Now you need to see how it does wheeling. You definitely have a talent with metal. Keep producing content like this and people will find you.
Awesome! That sway bar is the game Changer! But you can go further. If you want on road to be more stable, you can put One ln the front. Since you lack of space, you can install a sway bar that screw in the axle and the links in the chassi and the disconnect when you hit the trail....
That's way much better! You have so much patience, and you're not lazy to get things done. I've watched this project from the beginning up until now. Awesome, my friend!
I could tell when you did the silver on the bead locks that you weren't sold on it. Black looks great! Excited to see some videos on you testing this rig out on some trails
One of my favorite builds on UA-cam. It looks incredible. The only thing I would change is extremely minor. It just needs to say Toyota on the grill instead of Jeep. Other than that, perfection.
If you don't walk around with your chest pumped out you aren't human. Freaking killer build! Can't wait to see it work! Side question should you seam seal the top of the sway bar mounting plates to prevent crap from getting in from the top side?
This is EXACTLY why in the custom/ hot rod industry we "PACKAGE" a car (Pre-build/ fab it) and work out ANY & ALL kinks BEFORE anything goes to coating or gets painted..... Live and Learn my friend!
When you find that missing link..."Eureka!" I'll bet you were trippin' a lot harder about that body roll in private, than you were willing to let on. Good Job! Persistence paid off.
Did you consider running the swaybar on the axle and attach the links to the frame? Another solution when clearance is tight and you don't care as much about unsprung weight.
Very curious to see what happens when you take this rig off-road. You’ve been very meticulous in the entire build to make it near perfect. Can’t wait to see if it actually works like it should!
You have obviously put jeep on the front to get comments. We'll here is mine. It worked!! Lol. Hoping to see a large TOYOTA across the grill to finish the build. It will be sick!
Yep, yep, correct, I said right away, Black Rim RIngs looked much better! Now you just need those rear fenders, even 1/2 way, imitate Jeep Wrangler! Then is Perfect !=)
I still think the best looking build you have done was your wife’s rig (untill this one) All murdered out. So I am partial to all black. The wheels and bead locks look 10x better then before if anything I would sand blast and powder coat the bolt heads a cherry red to match a few of the red components and add just the slightest bit of pop.
You dont have the knowledge that austin has without a lifetimes career of work. You're amazed by the work he put into his truck not the money thats in it.

We are headed to sand hollow Dec 8th-11th. Good group of guys all very capable rigs, come test that sick FJ out.

Wow! Just wow keep producing perfection Austin!
This guy's attention to detail, and craftsmanship, is on a level of its own. I wish he would take my 2017 trd offroad, and transform it.
I love the roar of the FJ. Nice job Austin
@@johncourtneyscott2757 thanks!
Thanks!! That is one hell of a rig!! I like it!
It's amazing how much that sway bar improved your FJ, making it way more useable. I would drive the wheels off of it!!
Take this thing to sema! It’s pretty amazing that one person could have the skills to build this whole thing.
@@chriscut thank you! That would be cool to bring it to sema!
They should def use this as advertising and a how-to video. Good stuff.
Nice, Austin! You built a beast!

Молодец! 👍 И руки золотые, и машина отличная! 👍👍👍
It’s about time you start that samurai build now isn’t it 🤷🏼♂️🤗🤣 FJ looks and sounds great
@@CTMadModz haha yea I need to build that one soon!
@@austinniemela I’ll be honest with you, I think that’s the one rig that you should just beat the snot out of it instead of powder coat anything 🤣
@@CTMadModz that’s kinda what I was thinking! Still might powder coat it all first 🤣🤣

Epic!
I’d put that up front and mount a TJ style sway bar to the rear. They are mounted to the axle and you’d only have to figure out link mounts.
He’s said in multiple videos that there isn’t any room for a sway bar up front
Very cool
Once you said your brothers name and I saw the strip tank it clicked lol I watch both your channels. I did not even think you are brothers.
