Not sure if these things are required but it was my process. Since I made my original comment I've realized that God actually took away TWO of my addictions...1 was medication and he also took away painful neuropathy that I suffered from in both of my feet so that was 3 blessings at once. He wants to help you too so do not give up. Keep talking to Him. It WILL happen.

Today is the day I quit smoking I use too let fear of gaining weight stand In the way. Till my throat started getting very irritated got me thinking lord I rather take a chance of gaining weight than cancer I’m not claiming that. Praise Jesus, thank you for this testimony. God delivered me from a lifelong weed addiction last year. This time He has led me on the Daniel fast, I’m 2 days. I’m addicted to the nicotine spray/patches and since I started the fast I have been feeling so anxious when I use the spray/ patches. The spirit of fear comes on me. I know God is delivering me from this sin. God bless you sister. P.s I have been watching sister Joy for years and she really blesses me too, she has been posting daily recently and God is definitely using her to minister to me during this transition from wilderness to promise land. ♥️🙏🏾

Amen, I quit smoking before I started the fast so I would recommend quitting. I would also say for you to ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to what you should do as well. The Holy Spirit helped me so much that I didn’t want to smoke while fasting and then got delivered in the process. Glory to God! Hope this helps God bless ❤️

I feel so much better. I pray Jesus frees you from bondage of cigarettes as He has me . We're not perfect and never will but Jesus is faithful to forgive us if we confess our sins as I do often.
Hey Sis , yes I quit smoking 1 week before my fast. I was not still smoking when i started my fast either. I have been smoke free since 2019. God will help you & be your strength throughout this process. Once you start fasting you really wont have the desire to smoke. The first step is making up in your mind that you want to really quit and then go from their. Where we are weak God is strong. His grace is sufficient. I felt like I was done. I had a small headache from the withdrawal but the Lord Jesus is faithful and helped me through it

What if youre pregnant and cant fast
When you fasted were you still smoking cigarettes! Because I’ve fasted, which was no food and no water; yet I still smoked during my fast.
