I am a young 13 year old overseas Pakistani living in KSA. I am Punjabi but I am very impressed with Pashtun people’s culture especially when they fire AK-47 in their weddings that’s so fun and amazing. I have some Pashtun friends they live in Pakistan I am very interested to learn Pashto thanks for this video. But one funny thing is that I don’t know Punjabi and my home language Urdu that well😅😅😅😅😅 I can speak Urdu fluently but can’t speak those strong grammar phases in Urdu and Punjabi😅

I work at a pharmacy in the US with almost half our patients speaking pashto. We call a translator but sometimes they leave us on hold for a long time while they wait for pashto tranlator to become available. It would be usefull to learn some basic pashto. Would it be ok for me to greet them saying asalamalekum even though I'm not Muslim?

@@HaniaAli-dj5ff Yes few words here and there are the same Like 'Piayaz' Onion. The Pishawri Pashto is the same pashto but they use some urdu words in it. For learning it is not that hard but needs consistency. I depends how much time do you put in and how much you practice.
'Sanga yay!' has a hidden 'ta' meaning you in it. For example you tell someone 'Go! which means 'You go!' and the 'you' is hidden in it. It is like you say to someone 'Go!' or 'You go!'. Hope you have understood.

I strongly disagree with the claim that Pashto was the language of Khurasan. Historically, Khurasan included regions that are now part of Afghanistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other neighboring countries. The primary languages of Khurasan were Persian (Farsi/Dari), Turkish, and Kurdish. Pashto is traditionally the language of the Pashtun tribe in Afghanistan and isn't historically linked to the broader Khurasan region. It's important not to misrepresent historical facts, and I suggest you to make your thumbnail correct and never label Pashto as Khurasan language.

No difference, the word 'ta' means 'you', when asking someone older, add 'so' and make it 'taso sangayay'.
