Thanks for posting this! Are you considering installing full or partial PPV? I am considering partial for the front bumper. My car is just like yours (same color, 7 seater). The 3rd row is meant for grandkids and I think it will be folded down most of the time. I also added a tow hitch for a bike rack. Still waiting on delivery 😖
Hello! We had the partial PPF installed and it has been working out great for us so far. I’m excited for you to get your new Model Y! I think you’re going to love it. That third row is perfect for younger kids.
The mud flaps will alter your range.
Do you recommend any door sill protectors for back seats? My kid always steps on the carpet and gets dirty. I can only find ones that fit the 5 seater and nothing for the 7 seater version.

Checking the amazon list, The floor mats were listed was for 5 seater. Have you purchased the 3rd row floor mats and the Trunk Mat separately ?
And, Have you took the ceramic coating too, along with PPF? How much did it cost?

Hi there! I believe they also have a 7 seater set you can order on Amazon, but I did purchase a few of my mats separately. I linked the 5 seater ones because you can get most of the pieces from this video at that link 😊 I have not done a Ceramic coating, just the PPF. I have been really happy with just the PPF though! Ours cost $1600 and it was for
• Full Bumper
• Full Hood
• Full Fenders
• Mirrors
• A-Pillars

Hi there! My front floor mats have been awesome! They are holding up every bit as well as my Maxpider ones. For the pushpins, no I don’t sorry! It looks like they’re currently not available. For the Hills console cover, if they’re currently out of stock on Amazon, check out the Hills website. It looks like they’re available with a short wait. Hope that helps!

Hi there! The ones shown in the video are almost identical to the ones I have linked, minus the Tesla Emblem. The emblems were purchased on Etsy. The second row back of the seat mats as well as the cargo mats are made by 3D Maxpider, which is linked as well. Hope that helps!
I have heard on another channel there could be a hidden clip (under the phone chargers) that may scratch the thicker vinyl/timber wrap with constant opening and closing....any signs this is the case or scratch free? Thanks from Oz
Hello! I haven’t seen any scratches on my wood veneer. It’s still beautiful and I love the texture 😍
A man, even short guy, there is no way he will fit in these two small seats at the back. I think the best use for it is women and mostly short and skinny ones and of course children. For short voyages i would say of total 2 hours max. After that, whether you are petite or not, it doesn't matter. It would feel inconvenient.
Unfortunately, the 7 seater is not produced in Europe at the moment. I would like to have the option of additional two seats whenever needed. Instead of squeezing 4 people at the back, split them in two groups seems better way to travel short distances.

I’m not exactly sure what your mean 🤔 But I do know that the mats do not interfere with proper locking of the seats into place. They’ve been great!

Great video. I just took delivery of a 2023 Model Y LR 5 seater. I bought the front inner console organizer as it is very deep and dark and this will help organize small things. I heard that the Matt screen protector is good for some people but it effects the sharpness or resolution. I will clean the screen periodically. The other suggestions are very useful.
You’re going to love the console organizers! They’re wonderful. As for the screen protector, have have been really enjoying mine! I haven’t noticed any difference in sharpness or resolution

Hi! Sounds like you’re well on your way to having everything you need! The Tesla logo pins were on there when I got the mats from a friend. I asked and he said they were an Etsy find, but Im not sure if they’re available still. As for your trunk mat, my husband ordered ours directly from the Maxpider site specifically for the 3rd row cargo area. I tried to link everything in the description box the beat I could for y’all, so hopefully that’s helpful!

It came with Hardware 3. I don’t believe that HW 4 has been released yet. Not sure about the updated cameras 🤔.

Hey we just got delivery of our model y last Wednesday 3/29. I ordered the hills veneer for the center console. I did a dry fit first to see if it will fit but it didn’t want to open (push back) during the day fit. When we took it off, the center slider was making a scraping sound. I think the veneer caused something on the back end to come off, maybe a glue that’s holding the fibers to prevent dust from getting in got pushed during the dry fit causing it to scrape against the original slider cover. It won’t stop. I saw some sticky residue near the top where the silver part is. It’s definitely not from the veneer bc we did a dry fit first. We examined the back of the veneer to see if anything came off but everything is still intact. Does yours slide back and forward easily?
Hi there! Mine slides just fine. Mine has a very slight noise as well when closing, but there has been absolutely no scratches or damage whatsoever and it still opens and closes the way it should. If there’s no damage to the veneer and it’s still functioning properly, you should be fine!
Thanks, was just a little worry that it won’t slide properly and hearing that scratching sound made me think I messed something up or perhaps broke the slider console 😮

Does it come with any accessories that actually make it go further than 250 miles and not wait over 45 mins to charge it again?
Thanks for the question. It actually goes 320 miles on a charge and only takes me 25 minutes to charge it at our local Tesla Supercharger. I don’t believe there are any accessories that extend the range.

I was taught by a body shop expert (my husband 🤣) never to push on the bonnet (hood) when closing it as it can be dented. To close it drop it from about 8 inches and it will seat perfectly if it doesnt then drop it from slightly higher till you know the sweet spot.

You closed it exactly like you’re supposed to.
The Tesla hood was not designed to be dropped like some other cars. But you are correct that pushing it down in the wrong spots can dent it. So please read the manual that tells you exactly where to press down which is slightly different depending on your Tesla model.
@1ninjatiger That is incorrect for Teslas. The manual actually shows you to lower the hood, and gently press on either side of the T emblem with both hands. Tesla hoods are extremely light and can be damaged if you press anywhere else. Also, they're so light dropping from any height will not cause them to latch.
