The highest quality naturally appearing sandalwood trees in Asia are found only in the Marayoor sandalwood groves in Kerala. A group of forest guards have been guarding these sandalwood trees worth crores of rupees for ages, risking their own lives to protect them. Through the documentary 'The Gate Keepers of Sandalwood', Twentyfour News narrates to the world, the story of these gatekeepers and the sandalwood forests.
