The Squier Paranormal series provides players of all ages and budgets with a chance to get hold of a piece of Fender history. These awesome guitars are great budget-friendly options to the likes of the Fender Parallel series guitars.
The Squier Paranormal Offset Telecaster is an excellent combination of Jazzmaster style and Telecaster sensibility.
You have a slim "C" Maple neck which offers a slick and comfortable playing experience.
In terms of sound, you'll love the two Fender-designed Alnico single-coil pickups which deliver that infamous Tele tone. Fender Jazzmaster lovers will also enjoy the far more reliable string-through-body bridge design which offers increased sustain and tuning stability.

my dad walked in and saw this in confusion and I said "its a tele shaped like a Jazzmaster and I really want it" and he rolled his eyes
Me too.
02:55 when you try to reach the tremolo bar and realized there wasn't any
He got confused by that Jazzmaster shape 😂
@@nehemiahzo_ i would got confused too 😂, love that guitar and very nice demo btw!
cyrillus yodha yeah 👌🏼😂
Right? Gotta get one anyway
I hate the tele body but I love the tele sound. Definitely picking one up as soon as I can!
Same. The traditional tele neck is awful but the sound is just so iconic.
This is good for people who like teles but want contours
for sure. The lack of contours bothered me for 2 months after I bought my fender tele. Didnt consciously change anything, but the discomfort went away, so I think I subconsciously changed a bunch of micro-movements to correct the problem.
@@walterppk1989 yeah I just never rest my arm on my guitar so the contours don't matter for me but the tele definitely changes how you play
I got one of these. It really is the best of the telle with the comfort of the jazz
Looks brilliant!! I would love it
Great demo. I can see you really got the vibe with that guitar.
I've been saving since August for this by April I'll have enough and the shop will be open so I can check it out in person ❤️
I was just about to buy a kit a build a similar set up, it's like they read my mind
That dark fender offset with the HH pickups, hanging on the wall to the right of the video, looks sweet!
That's a Squire Toronado. You can find plenty of reviews on youtube. It costs about the same as a this Squier Offset Tele.
Just picked one of these up. Gonna throw in some Seymour Duncan Hot Tele pickups in asap.
This guitar would sound amazing with the quarter pound tele pickups. And I have a pair laying around. Hmm
Do it
It does indeed I put a quarter pounder in one bridge and a fender deluxe drive in another, Wilkinson bridge's.. alternate between pick-ups and bridge.
Love the offset telecaster 👍👍
Bought this beauty a while back for my music (Hip Hop with Guitar and Analog Instruments) and it really does sound and feel better than my Fender Strat
Hell yeah guitar and analog instruments
You know what! I was trying out a fender telecaster and saw an offset and started playing it. It felt better and sounded better that the fender and was so surprised it was a squier. It's still blowing my mind!
I just bought one of these today.
Rrp almost $900 in Australia!
Choice between the Squier Vintage vibe Jazzmaster which I didn't like at all.
Returned after a couple of hours and bought one of these instead.
By far the better guitar!
Better for jazz playing too.
Squier jazzmasters almost always need a lot of work to be decent, minus J Mascis model.
Gotta order mine.
Gotta’ love “Telemaster”- I want one!
I've wanted this for so long, but to add a cbs tele deluxe style head stock..that fat ole one.
I'm saving up I'll finally have enough by April hopefully the stores shall be open by then I want to try it out for myself and get the surf green one 💚👍
Hope you got it!
I just put that one on layaway at a shop, it was between that and the classic vibe tele, offset actually sounded better and felt perfect in my hands
@@delamo8468 I tried it in the shop recently I I liked it and the sounded good and was comfortable too also tried the Fender player series telecaster ordered the Fender in black made in Mexico as I had extra money from event that got cancelled I was saving for
@@RebeccaHindle Awesome have fun with it.
@@delamo8468 I will when I get it its been a bit of a nightmare since I ordered it 1st it went to the wrong pmt shop got sent to the right one went to pick it up picked a really nice case the assistant put the guitar in the case I looked at it and it had a scratch on it 😞 the assistant said straight away we will send for a new one luckily there was one in warehouse in Liverpool they ordered it and volenterrred the manager to drop it off at my house
But why would they make it with 3 saddles though
Another company owns the name telemaster. But ya jazzcaster would have worked too lol
Yep, nothing says telemaster like a tire
Jizzcaster😳😂😂😂
I would love to pair one of these paranormal series guitars with the Fender vaporizer amp, wow
I always wanted that amp in surf green, but it is a very boutique custom product, thus very expensive and difficult to find
I got it and I struggle all the time with the Fredboard, my high e string bends over the board really quickly
Dude could make a Tonika sound good🤘
The lows on these pickups seem like they're sold separately.
Would anyone recommend this for a beginner?
100%
The world is a better place with Dagan in it.
Never knew richard ramirez could shred
Jazzcaster.
Jazzcaster
This Jazzmaster body could be better with the Stratocaster configuration (the pickups). ;)
It’s basically what my custom made is set around !
If yoh remove the pick gard, there's place for a middle pickup and a hum in neck too, mahbe with a custom pickgard you could achieve that ;)
There are Jagmasters available in that configuration (from Japan), but they are not particularly good instruments. At least the one I owned wasn't...
Telejazzter
Jelecaster
Why does it look like Ibanez talman prestige.
Because Ibanez only knows how to make superstrats and copy other companies’ guitars
The telemaster name is alas under the rights of a single player
Can I replace the neck with a mim strat neck ?
Yes.
Sone has one of these. I have a MIM Strat and an MIA Strat. Trust me, Don't do that.
Sounds pretty meh until you crank the gain up: then it rocks like a b-.
Seeing as how it's a tele with a slightly different body shape I'm always shocked by how little these sound like a proper tele. Much more of that compressed Jazzmaster tone. Doesn't seem to have the characteristic, poky, dynamic, ear-splitting, ballsy tele thing going on.
There might have been some coke done just prior to hitting the record button🤣
I have problems with the first string. It’s bending over fretboard when I play like I always do. I’m the only one here? Lg Cornelius
Have you had it set up
@@RebeccaHindleI played it out of the box but how should i adjust the distance between the strings towards the edge
@@liu373 check the neck relief and string height you adjust the string height at the bottom there's loads of videoes on youtube to show how to do it I take mine to a guitar luthier to set up it cost £45 they check everything and resting aswell
@@RebeccaHindle thanks for ur advise! The string height was pretty ok and it played really nice. i think the neck isn’t for me unfortunately. So I’m locking forward to find an other Tele ,)
@@liu373 can you send it back if your not into it
Think i might grab one of deez
TeleJag ! Duh. Lol
But it isn't a jaguar body
you are not showing the guitar in details like some close ups
There was some lacks of tones. It was less-rich. I would prefer Bentons over this.
I was about to buy it until I heard its crappy sound
So did you buy it?
That's what's putting me off at the moment. It looks great but sounds thin and pathetic
Jazzcaster
