Hey Abhijeet. I don't wanna sound rude but please let your guest complete his/her point before posing another question in between. Because if it happens more than two times in a question it looks more like interrogation than an interview
To be honest, I got to know him during lockdown and he has a positive impact on me and my outlook....I started to enjoy my preparation journey and don't stress that much as earlier!❤️
This was one of the best interviews I've seen of an in-service officer, especially one focusing on the finer details of foreign services which sadly there isn't much awareness about. Thank you so much for bringing one of the most intellectually stimulating and humble officers on air. It was truly remarkable to know all about what happens after clearing this prestigious exam.
Listening to vikram is such a relaxing activity for me,he always speaks naturally no formality and complete honesty. My mind is cleared that society expectations and our own aspiration differs and as we have 1 life we need to listen to our heart first. Abhijeet sir this is a great initiative. Keep it up
Hello Abhijeet sir, thanks a lot for having this interactive session with an ifs officer. UA-cam is filled with talks with ias officers, their service experience, one day with the sdm or what not but hardly there is anything or any video to give insight into the life of an ifs officer or what's there after lbsnaa or journey from ssfsi to choosing and learning a new language in a new country, settling there and all. This was a much needed one. Hopefully you'll bring more such videos in future for ifs aspirants, I'd like to recommend taking a session with two ifs officers- 1. Nayantara Dabariya(earlier posted in South Korea, currently in India) 2. Kanishka Singh( posted in Moscow, Russia) It'd be great and really help us get an insight into the life as an ifs officer specially female ones if you could talk with them
Tysm Abhijeet... These kind of interviews help alot in understanding the service better, it also refreshes and motivates. Keep doing this amazing work Abhijeet... More power to you⭐✨
I'm so glad you bought him on the video, he's one of those unique diplomats who I see upon, even now. Also because he's my interest twin. His, poems, music taste, thoughts everything resonates with mine.
Before I saw this video I wanted to download Twitter to read his tweets as i discontinued using it from few months but here we have him in your video 😍
I am seeing this channel for first time and when I saw the thumbnail I thought the interviewer was the ifs officer and vice versa. Such a humble officer.👮🤝
Please invite one guest who is an IPS officer, And so as we can get same job profile of an IPS, being IPS aspirant - It will be implacable motivation and astounding listening experience.. Thank You !
hello sir, I like ur videos and the best one was this one in which u invited Vikram sir. ur daily shorts helps me a lot. I wish I could be a part of the channel after the selection and which get an opportunity to share the platform with you. most probably in 2024. hoping to meet u after approx 18 months to thank u for helping me in my journey.
Great to see a good recruit who chose the IFS over IAS and has a background in history. In the 21st century, it is incredible that the same exam is used to select police officers, tax collectors, railway administrators, corporate law service, defence people, postal officers and diplomats. It is just absurd. All of these services are very very different and the lateral entry thing should be welcomed as most aspirants only want the IAS and have ZERO interest in the other services. What is even more astonishing is that people who get most of the other services barring the IAS make repeated attempts to get out of the service. This is the reason why our bureaucracy is rated one of the worst in the world .The Brits did away with this absurdity 60 years back. Our diplomats used to be the best in the world like Shiv Shankar Menon, Nirupama Rao and Shyam Saran but the current IFS recruits are such a shame. Most of them have no interest in history and politics and have extremely extremely poor communication skills. People like Ambassador Ronen Sen, Shashi Tharoor and Fareed Zakaria have raised this issue multiple times, We need a complete transformation and scrap the present system which is way past its sell by date
@Soham Roy...IFS dont require knowledge of history, IR , geo-politics in its advance form. All the toppers read the same which is required , not more or less. Neither sir Menon or Nirupama maam had expertise in history. They are stallwarts because of their constantly growing and developing interest in diplomacy and many other diplomats do. Many diplomats who never had interest in ifs or diplomacy ended up to be very good officers.
Great Interview Abhijeet, just a recommendation being an interviewer please let the guest complete the chain of thought, since people want to hear them eagerly. the points that you want to ask on you can either write them or retain if the interview is taped, but the first rule to never interrupt the speaker, all our thoughts comments as an interviewee come second. Hope it helps, cheers
Take interview of women ifs officer and ask questions about how they manage their personal life like their family their children and husband don't get in wrong way but I have always in my mind this question i am always confusied about to thinking about this question
His writting is so good , but he tells it is worst, In vision ias - He says in college day he just learn to read newspaper and nothing else just enjoyed college life In rau ias-. Says i have done weekend coaching in college time of 3 years . 😂- golmal he bhai sab golmal he. Plz dont give fake hope to others
Don’t take it in the wrong way, but as a host you should let the other person talk more. It was supposed to look like you interviewing him. This kind of stuff happens as it is aslo new for you. Good work and thank you.
Hey Abhijeet, you are just trying to showcase your knowledge and kind of showoff kar re ho..... and not letting Vikram speak. There is flow in which a person speaks and it was very bad that you were again Nd again stopping vikram in between and could say the exact words. It could have been a very good session if you would have allowed Vikram sir to fully speak Although, thanks For arranging this session.
🤣😂😂same sir...mujhe na toh ye yaad hai 11 mai kya pdaa or na ye yaad hai 12 mai kya pdaa..or graduation toh hwaa mai hi gyi. Lol ...or ab arts ki book 1 din mai ek ncert khatam...😂🤣🤣I love to read them

Hey Abhijeet. I don't wanna sound rude but please let your guest complete his/her point before posing another question in between. Because if it happens more than two times in a question it looks more like interrogation than an interview
Noted. I tend to get ahead of myself (and my guests) at times. Will keep in mind.
Yeah..I also felt it.
You're correct, I felt it from the very first question when Vikram started telling about Vietnam.
yeah i also felt that
But interview aise hi hota hai, chai pe gup shup nhi chal rha na
Vikram is one of my all time favourite officers. He is so humble and does not act like a big officer at all, eventhough he is. 👍🏼
To be honest, I got to know him during lockdown and he has a positive impact on me and my outlook....I started to enjoy my preparation journey and don't stress that much as earlier!❤️
Finally the episode 😭😭😭😭😭 two finest people I look after about upsc, thanks a lot

I really appreciate, the way he is excited about reading and books...and especially understanding the constitution. This how one must feel about books
Stand-up comedian IFS 🤩🤩🤩🥳. Envy the personality
You can sit with a pen and paper while interacting so while listening to other person arises a new question you can note down and ask in a flow.
Always appreciate your efforts by the way
I'm so glad you bought him on the video, he's one of those unique diplomats who I see upon, even now. Also because he's my interest twin. His, poems, music taste, thoughts everything resonates with mine.

Don’t take it in the wrong way, but as a host you should let the other person talk more. It was supposed to look like you interviewing him. This kind of stuff happens as it is aslo new for you. Good work and thank you.
