It's a bandaid on a bullet wound. The problem isn't the numbers, it's the inherent design of the bosses. Found very few of the bosses in the base game fun, and the dlc is just the same things but worse.
I think it's fine considering how the base game did the same thing with how if you ran into what seems like a brick wall you can just do something else without just spelling it out for you and all the fragments are found outside of boss fights so you can be at blessing 10 before any bosses. I'm sure it's possible to play without the blessing but it'd probably require too much patience for too many people myself included.
The system sucks. Having a set amount of fragments to fight in the world hidden in the most obscure places also sucks. This problem didnt exist with the golden seeds in the base game since there were more than you needed to hit the cap. Also, it is possible to play without the blessing and it involves using status effects because those do % based damage.
@@XXNemesisXXXX i definitely agree they should have done the golden seed route so that you aren't looking for the same 50 specific fragments, it's nice that status is the work around if you don't want to engage the system. I do get a good laugh at the overleveled people being humbled by this system as well.
I expect some folks may have strong opinions, but I suppose I'm indifferent to this scadutree mechanic. I enjoy exploring and searching for the things regardless - this feels like just another instance of collectin' stuff. Similar to collecting exp/souls to level up - just by another name.
I'm sure soon someone will make a map of where to find these things like they did for flask upgrade items and physick tears as well as ashes of war and other collectables.
@@XXNemesisXXXXfor sure, i do not enjoy going for those collectibles on different characters either but it's nice that you can just b line to them like the rest unless you just use cheat engine which no shame in that if you just want to pvp or just play the game without the hassle.
I don't think I was able to enjoy any dragon fight after DS2, and even if I find Midir boring atleast that guy is insanely well designed and telegraphed.
Pretty much all the downsides of Elden ring is due to the open world at this point, they want the players to explore more but it just doesn’t seem to fit the core gameplay of a souls-like game
I'm fine with it as a system but its the collection of it thats garbage. I saw a meme that was essentially saying that elden after the first playthrough just feels like a bloated collectathon and I couldnt agree more. Im tired of these empty open spaces and people calling it "content". If the scadutree system was tied to like the major bosses and not scattered throughout a fucking skyrim sized vertical piece of goop maybe it wouldnt bug me as much.

Scadutree blessing was probably a bad idea

@XXNemesisXXXX I mean I got to 10 stacks the first day of playing. Seems like a non issue to me. You don't really need them anyway

There’s just no recovery after a huge attack it just transfers in another massive attack like when are you supposed to attack
You’re supposed to attack blindly
Please tell me you're joking...
I was here for this. Support 😊

I have no problem with it on a first playthrough of the dlc, but having to do on every subsequent playthrough will be tedious, in my opinion.

@@TK_TK811 It already exists but that won't make it any less tedious to do on subsequent playthroughs.

Agreed. If they just tied them to remeberance bosses it would be much better for future playthroughs. Collecting these again will be a pain.
Fromsoft really forgot how to make good dragon fights

I loved this dragon fight
Best dragon fight in the series by a mile

As someone who has like 7 different characters I am not looking forward to scavenger hunting
