Hey Doobrey , how has this power hammer been holding up for you, i'm considering buying one for myself. Also i don't think you are not supposed to grease the outside of the shaft but are supposed to only grease where the nipple is and keep on pumping clean grease in there until it comes true the sealing at the shaft ( i work for a gearbox manufacturer , and that's how we point our customers to regrease , purge the old grease until it appears on the sealing side of the shaft , then you are sure that you have purged the old grease out of the bearings) Best regards Dries
Hey Dries, Its holding up superbly well actually. An amazing machine for the amateur blacksmith. Does everything i have asked it to do and some! Thank you for the advice on the grease, I am new to this stuff, so any advice is much appreciated! Thanks, Doobs
A friend of mine has two Ayang hammers and none of those have any zergs, we were looking everywhere. The manual says there are 3, a sticker on the outside of the hammer says it has 2. We looked inside and outside. No grease zergs, no drill holes, no threads. Does anyone know, if the bearings even still need to be greased regularly?
Very helpful video!

Thank you!
You're welcome!
Open up the big side plate on the hammer and there should be a Grace point on the crank that connects to the connecting rod
Oh, thank you Dustin - I will certainly take a look! As mentioned, I have no idea what i am doing, but any assistance is much appreciated!
Very interesting, is this like a waste oil system or does it recirculate the oil back to the reservoir? Just interested that’s all 😁👍
It’s to lubricate the ram. Doesn’t put it back into the reservoir though
