I have gone through a long period in my life of not caring much about clothing or styling due to all of the many things I was dealing with. But you have brought back my interest, which is no small thing. I really appreciate how you put your videos together ❤️ they are very helpful. You have encouraged me to start caring again about fashion and appearance, so hats off to you!
Thank you for mentioning that you are concerned about cultural appropriation. You are always so thoughtful with your wardrobe choices, both creatively and ethically, which is a big reason why I love your channel and your personality!
I bought a combo of some new to Sezane items and items they bring out year after year and so far I love them. One thing that buying from Sezane has taught me is that I am a fabric snob at heart and if I want to spend my money wisely, it has to be a natural fabric
This is exactly the kind of information I am looking for when watching a review👏 I adore Sezane and information about the materials and sizes may save me some returns. Good job 👍
I love the depth of your review! Plus going through a section of trying on and a section of shopping online. I would LOVE more videos like this that cover other brands!!!
Thank you for the Othello cardigan review! Had my eye on the vert pistache but sold out! Finally an xxs came back in stock and you sold me on the size! (I’m also usually XS) Picked up the last one!!! Thanks Helen!
My fav is the Tomboy shirt with the toast color high-rise trousers. What a great look! Another color that pairs well with light blue (say denim) is a deep wine or burgundy.
I bought the navy betty last year because I loved how the green looked on you but the green one was sold out. Seeing you in the navy makes me want to try my luck at getting the green one again.
Love the Betty, and both the green sweaters! All so good on you! The gold shoes are stunning, though I do get your reservations. Hope you keep them 😉😄 Great choices, and I really enjoyed your scroll through the website. Thanks for another super informative video, Helen!
I almost picked up a sequin skirt for a wedding this summer ! Would have loved to see you style the pieces separately even if you didn't keep it, they're so tricky !
I love all the things that are well tailored on you . The pants that are a flimsy fabric such as the wide leg white and the shorter wide leg navy dont do you justice. You are a very beautiful girl with very classic features The rusty coloured wide leg pleated pants with the button trim and the Betty navy cardigan sweater are gorgeous on you !!! I subscribed . Much love from Canada xoxoxo
Hi Helen, I bought the Marcie babies in camel and are stunning!!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the collection, your taste is unique and very well balanced 👌 Can you bring us during your online shopping again? It'sso enjoyable!
Always enjoy your videos. You are very descriptive in you commentary. Please help me with the link on the Blue Tomboy shirt. I cannot find the shirt. Tomboy doesn't have double pockets....so I'm confused. I bought the navy Betty cardigan because I liked your green one awhile back . Really glad I did. The fabric is beautiful. The style chic and wearable. Thank you!
I get such FOMO when I look at the Sezane website.. their colourful knitwear are so gorgeous BUT I can’t yet justify spending that much on shipping 🚢 🛒 ☺️ so I just look for pretty similar dupes in local shops.
Thank you for mentioning that their mini skirts run really short. I am 5'8" and I now know that they will be too short. Love the sweaters you chose and will note to size down. :)
Thank you! I genuinely appreciate you watching and commenting when you can :) I also fall in and out of fashion - sometimes the inspo just comes, other times not so much. Glad you're feeling inspired again :)
Love this video, such nice outfits and inspo! Please could I ask where the blue check coat is from that you style throughout the video? Thank you! (At 4:48) xx
I totally forgott again where your shiny black skirt is from that you were wearing with the grey knit? I really like most of sèzane clothing and I love your style and that you're so attentative with everything
Thanks for sharing my dear! Really appreciate your tips for choosing the Sezane clothes. Could you please share if anything you love for the new collection they launched today? Thx❤
Hey Emily! :) Love the new Christie blazers and the polka dot pieces (though not sure about material) and the Andina cardigan looks rly lovely (though not a colour I think I can really wear well).
@@DailyHelenJ thanks for sharing. Please continue filming this type of videos in the future. Love your opinions about how to choose the “right” fit clothes from Sézane. Thx
I just got my LouLou and it says "dry clean only". Have you washed them at home? I don't have the time or money to take them to the dry cleaner every week :(.
I love the look of Rouje pieces but I think the quality to me is far lower than Sezane. Some people have commented it's worse than Zara etc and I think in my experience, some pieces can be. Maybe when I can visit their store, I'll be able to feel/see everything in real life but for online shopping it's just a bit risky. If you like french brands, I love Sessun, Souer, Balzac Paris and find these much better than Rouje and at a similar price point.
Thank you! That might be true. I've visited the paris store 2 Weeks Ago. Everything was beautiful but a lot was overpriced. But i own a Gabin dress and a nono cardigan and can definitely recommend them! The Tinted lip balm too, hehe.
Hey! Lumiere you're looking too too gorgeous in all haul and I really love your vlogs so so much you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 70K Subscribers very very soon!😭💕✨
Sezane needs to update designs and colors/prints. One thing is classic French style and another that looks like grandmother's clothes. The latest collections are being horrible.
Your videos are very much the same or almost copy of Jamie, another Australian you tuber I used to watch, I must say even your use of words, earthy 🙂 I don’t watch those channels anymore as they are so repetitive, seasonal capsule wardrobe on repeats, most worn on repeats, what I wore in a week, or even sezanne😊
I was really disappointed to see a pant made in an acetate/polyester blend during the online browse / review… It’s such an unsustainable, regressive textile decision! 🫤 Anyone looking for a trouser in this fabrication could easily find a pair at just about any vintage shop, and they would be paying A LOT less for it. 😐 I think the pieces you chose to keep are great and suit you so well! 😍 I also completely see your reasoning for the items you’re sending back! One thing I will say for the shoes is that I get a bad feeling about where the top of the toe-box seems to end on your foot (it ends slightly before the start of your outer toes)…I’ve had a couple pairs in the past with this issue, and they gave me blisters anytime I wore them because my smallest toes were barely contained and the shoes would cut into the top of my toes when I walked. 😣 So if you feel any of what I’m describing, I would definitely send them back, especially since you might not be able to wear any sort of sock with them (because you said they are slightly narrow). I really appreciated being walked through your thoughts on each item you purchased and others you had previously considered! 😊 Listening to your thought-process was a great reminder of characteristics we should pay close attention to when considering a new piece- such as comfort, texture, fit/sizing, quality, practicality, special details, (etc.) -and ways we might go about assessing / critiquing these kinds of characteristics to avoid feeling buyer’s remorse from keeping something we hardly end up wearing beyond the initial try-on. 👍👍 As always: great video, and thank you for sharing! 🤗❤️

Ugh, no one does a Sezane review better than you. Loved the video :)
True

Please do a video on your trousers! The drapey white trousers and the dark grey ones are stunning.
The fall collection looks amazing. I love all the cardigans! :)
Thank you! Cardigans are definitely my weakness from Sezane :)
My fav is the Tomboy shirt with the toast color high-rise trousers. What a great look! Another color that pairs well with light blue (say denim) is a deep wine or burgundy.
I never ordered anything from Sezane but the Leontine and Betty are growing strongly on me!
I bought the navy betty last year because I loved how the green looked on you but the green one was sold out. Seeing you in the navy makes me want to try my luck at getting the green one again.
Great review for a first time buyer like me❤ I also loved your white jeans!
Very useful video, I especially loved the last part where you went through the website!

The sequin looks lovely on you!
Hi Helen! Love your videos always very useful info! Wondering how you find the Sezane Othello Cardigan after a hand wash please? Thank you! 💕

The green sweater is beautifull

Hi Helen! Love your videos! Could you share the lipstick you are using? Thanks!!!

Also I'm sure they said on Instagram those beige striped trousers were coming later this season!
u r my fav style channel
I get such FOMO when I look at the Sezane website.. their colourful knitwear are so gorgeous BUT I can’t yet justify spending that much on shipping 🚢 🛒 ☺️ so I just look for pretty similar dupes in local shops.
For us in Australia, shipping is free after a certain spend so hopefully they extend this offer to more countries soon :) Thank you for watching xx
Most Sézane looks can be duped with second hand shopping in thrift stores and online, since they clearly take inspiration from vintage styles!
Oh wow!! You’re so lucky! I know when I check shipping costs to Australia it’s usually expensive 🇦🇺 ( one of my best friends lives in NSW)
So true! I’m thinking of commissioning a few handmade jerseys. We have a great selection of colourful wool to choose from.
I love everything Sezane! Plus, I have never been disappointed in my purchases, although like you I pay attention to the materials. Loved it all!
Thank you for mentioning that their mini skirts run really short. I am 5'8" and I now know that they will be too short. Love the sweaters you chose and will note to size down. :)
Hi! Always enjoy your content--may I ask where you got your silver bracelet worn in this video? I love it! :)
I love your videos! I have a fairly similar body type to you so your Sézane videos are super helpful! SO excited for you to visit the Sézane store :)
I know you like oversized stuff but you look GORGE in the dark green top with the black trousers.
Three words are creative, feminine, and chic
Hi, I have the Emile in the grey xs, really like it. But looking for a black would you suggest the OTHELLO I don’t own it or another Emile
Some really lovely items! I haven't been commenting much lately but I'm always watching and getting lots of inspiration from your videos!
Thank you! I genuinely appreciate you watching and commenting when you can :) I also fall in and out of fashion - sometimes the inspo just comes, other times not so much. Glad you're feeling inspired again :)
Great video Helen! Please, please tell me where I can find that metallic bag you’re wearing throughout the video - I adore it!!
Thanks Angela! :) The bag is from A-esque an Australian brand based in Melbourne but they do have an online store xx
Sezane must have or top picks video!
What size is the gregoire jumper vest.
I always bye xs or s i dont know witch size to choose. Thanks for your video 🥰👍
Love this video, such nice outfits and inspo! Please could I ask where the blue check coat is from that you style throughout the video? Thank you! (At 4:48) xx

I really like most of sèzane clothing and I love your style and that you're so attentative with everything
Have you tried Boden they have a lot of nice pieces more fun colors and lots of items with details?
Thanks for sharing my dear! Really appreciate your tips for choosing the Sezane clothes. Could you please share if anything you love for the new collection they launched today? Thx❤

The shoes 🤩🤩🤩
Very great review.. thank you
Hi may i check how to handle those clothes when buying new sets? thanks
Where is the brown coat from?
Really like the Pieces you chose! Do you shop at Rouje? I love everything and think it would fit your style too
I love the look of Rouje pieces but I think the quality to me is far lower than Sezane. Some people have commented it's worse than Zara etc and I think in my experience, some pieces can be. Thank you as always :) xx
Огромное спасибо!
Очень стильные луки!
Hi! Can you tell me information about the textured metallic bag which wore with blue cardigan please?
Oh yes! That's from an Australian brand called A-esque based in Melbourne. They do very minimal designs but the quality feels very luxurious :)
Nice, but the collection is not affordable.
Sezane needs to update designs and colors/prints. One thing is classic French style and another that looks like grandmother's clothes. The latest collections are being horrible.
Nothing caught my eyes. Sezane products became so cheesy in recent two years. The price of their products is not matching their quality and design .
Clothes from a racist brand, don't buy from this brand, please.
