Excellent explanation of the Battle of Brandywine. My wife & I lived in Kennett Sq for a couple of years back in the early 90’s. We often would visit and hang out in the park. I was totally unaware of the other battle sites & the Kennett Connection. It’s a gorgeous area. Our one negative memory was my wife’s car was stolen while we attended a movie at the Painter’s Crossing shopping center at the intersection of 202 & Rt 1. It was taken to a chop shop in Wilmington Delaware.
Thanks, Bill! It was a privilege to explore the battlefield with Jim. He's extremely knowledgeable on the period (and a snappy dresser, as you can tell...)
Nothing like a breath of fresh air when we've all been trapped inside for so long! Getting out onto any battlefield is just awesome. Brandywine is a big one to explore...
I love what you do for military history (and especially obscure American revolutionary engagements), I don't wargame but what you and your friends do is a valuable document of military interpretation. Thank you very much.
Banking is the root cause of Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, and John Adams effort for the Continental Congress. What statehood is a tax burden in liberty and justice the question. The security of the banks of the colonies must provide adequate trust and the surrounding area of operations. This lead to the resulting conflict of interests, as the letter of request: Declaration of Independence. This video is a great representation of Pennsylvania state heritage and the accuracy of historic record. Thank You.
Wow! Looks like that grass hasn't been cut since I was there 5 years ago! (see 12:50 onwards) 8-) I have a photograph of that field piece (which i recently referred to when painting a 10mm scale version) and the grass is short and the view uninterrupted.
Hey so this is a little off topic but I was wondering when you guys planned on posting your grand campaign for age of Hannibal also loved the video and keep up the good work
A popular question! We are currently in the middle of the 5th and final turn of the Pyrrhic War campaign. Patrons have been getting regular updates and know where the campaign stands right now but we'll be putting out an update video for everyone on UA-cam as soon as it wraps. And of course, eventually we will have a fully edited, multi-part series covering every action and battle in the campaign. There have been several major engagements so far....
there was a skirmish in Clark NJ during the revolutionary war on Madison Ave . it was right infront of one of the signers of the declaration anyone can find more detail on such
It is 245 anniversary of Battle of Brandywine, Lord Howe outmanuverd Washington but failed to complete his victory and he disobey orders to support Buroygne that led to British defeat at Saratoga

Thank you guys, un compatriote du marquis de La Fayette vous salue et vous remercie pour ce bon moment passé à regarder votre vidéo.
This is perfect since your country won't let me visit it right now. Thanks for helping to educate the isolated.
It was really great to hear you mentioning Pulaski...... I am from Poland 😄
An absolute legend! What a fascinating character. It would be worth doing a video just exploring his story.
Jim is a great miniature war gamer a Legend in the re-enacting world and now a world renown battlefield guide! Awesome video.

@@LittleWarsTV but you know French uniforms look really spiffy from 1755-1762, The battle of Fort Ligonier is this weekend!
Incredible battlefield tour!
A battlefield tour by LWTV is exactly what I needed after being tested for COVID and being beyond ill over the weekend.

@@LittleWarsTV I've been to Monmouth, so I imagine it's similar

My great grandfather (x6) served as a private under Washington in the battle.

Another battle where Howe allowed the rebels to escape, he may have been brave & he knew how to win battles, but he was clueless about Strategy
It is 245 anniversary of Battle of Brandywine, Lord Howe outmanuverd Washington but failed to complete his victory and he disobey orders to support Buroygne that led to British defeat at Saratoga
Hey do you guys have a discord and have you ever considered doing like tabletop simulator battles for the different wargames
Please do a war game of the little big horn in another colab with American battlefield trust.
Would love to do some reenacting with you unfortunately live in Florida
Campaign when?
hello Jim Mcgaugry
Is there a Military Academy at Dillworth ?
No, but there is one at Valley Forge about 30 minutes away!
