Amerikkka
Sounds about white. .
it never cease to amaze me how brilliant we are in the face of opposition
Unfortunately, Taraji Henson and other current black actors are experiencing the same thing.
@@kialewisThat's a Fact my Sister ❤️
They forgot to mention that Hal Williams played Lester on 227. Another iconic role for him.
I said the same thing while watching
Another great show.
"He said, somebody ripped off y'all goods."
DEMOND🗣️🗣️
They did. He said two twenty seven. Smh
And I and we still watch Sanford and Son to this day!😂😊

“I’m coming Elizabeth “😂😂😂😂 … loved me some Fred and Grady baby !!
Grew up watching this and still fall a sleep at night laughing and watching this show love it
My mom was 7 when the series finale premiered. Yet me and my partner always tell each other that we think it’s the big one and we’re coming to join you Elizabeth! The show stopped airing twenty years before we were even born!! Now that’s impact
Remember?! I still watch it almost every day.
Classic 🙏🏽 one liner jokes between Fred and Esther were hilarious
Please stop calling him DEMON.
Thank you!
It’s De-Mond!
It sounds like La-Mont
@@victorlewis3409 They are talking about the actor and not the character. Bro, you hard of hearing? I am and I can still hear it.
There will never be another cast assembled that had this top-notch chemistry.
Still watch till this day
Martin Lawrence show was the only other imo....it was always natural
Bro, chill. We had Martin, living single I feel like even the Jamie Foxx show had some good chemistry. Let us not forget Bernie Mac show.
I agree

The SOOOUUUL TRAIN!!!!
Sorry. I had a 1970s flashback. Thanks for your post. 🕺💃🚆 🚉 😅😊
Who was she
Good googly moogly
This show still a classic.
One of the best
Straight up
And it was based on another classic, Steptoe and Son. 😊
The absolute best was Fred's answer to 'well I never' lmao and his answer was different every time...lmao....classic
I was born in 1972 and my grandfather was the guy who I watched laugh himself silly. "I got to hurry son, I can't miss the Sanford & Son song " Then the way he laughed made me laugh 🤣.
70 year old white male and this was my favorite show.
I exchanged emails with man that played Grady until he died.
NEXT BEST WAS :" IN LIVING COLOR!"
Was born in 96 and I kno every episode like I just watched
Are you serious?
I use to watch this everyday and people who know me would always say me and my grandma acted like them it was true!!😂😂
4:15 I was TODAY YEARS OLD when I found out Esther was Fred sister-in-law on the show … I thought she was just an annoying neighbor 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Damn bro 😂😂
@@Mesena2773 😂😂
WHY DID YOU THINK LAMONT CALLED HER "AUNT ESTHER"?...
Come on man🤣🤣🤣
@JACKSCHITT83 we thought they were just acting😂😂😂😂
This was one of my favorite shows growing up. I’ll still watch it to this day. LOVED THAT SHOW.
My neighbor 76 and he still watches this show everyday
Man just looking at some of these, it really brings about a rush of emotions because these were some of the fondest memories I had with my Grandfather as a small kid . I sat and watched with my Grandfather often I do miss him and wish we had a better relationship before he passed. R.I.P Gramps these are times I wish you were alive just to hear your advice even if it’s just to call me a fool.
you big dummy fool
You can bet those were some of his fondest memories, too.
RIP Gramps
I like how you put a TLC CD for the show Scrubs.
his name is pronounced de-MOND Wilson...not DEMONd Wilson...
It's actually Desmond
@@jamelcolley3895 no, it isn't. Grady Demond Wilson
It's actually Demond
His name is Big Dummy
@@jamelcolley3895it’s actually not! It’s Demond
Dude, that picture of Redd Fox’s “brother” was Malcolm X!! 😂
That was Redd, and Malcolm X side by side 👍🏾
That pic of Redd Foxx brother is actually a pic of a young Malcolm X. 13:23
I read where red and Malcolm use to put in work together in New York until they got popped then Malcolm became a Muslim while locked up.
On was chicago redd (Redd Foxx) and one was Detroit Redd (Malcolm X)
Exactly
@@pwjones69this was not Malcolm x
No it's not
I was born in 1974 & as a child that show kept me glued to the television
I had no idea how much drama happened behind the scenes of Sanford and Son!
I loved Sanford and son had me rolling ❤
Donna and Esther are real life sisters and Donna just celebrated her 94th birthday
No they not but Esther does have a younger sister with the same name
They not but Ester had a baby sister named Lynn
@@TSA1D1 google says different

Watched it as a kid but as an adult, it hit differently and I can't watch it anymore...
12:35 Elizabeth looks like Lamont dressed up😂😂
Damn , I thought that was young Oprah on the GIF!😂
Man i loved this when i was a kid.
Fred G. Sanford and the G stands for great video! Thanks
This show brings back so many memories, i had a 13in black@white tv in my room an never had cable growing up, this show along with the jeffersons and goodtimes were my favorite shows that i watched regularly, great stuff
I already fell for the Jeffersons one. YOU WON'T GET ME AGAIN!
🤣🤣 The Show Was Called Two Two Seven As In 2-2-7 Not Twenty Two Seven 227....Hal Williams Also Played The Father On The Show
Lester. I love that show.
The court episode was a classic lmao
True talent creativity ingenuity class and resilience ⭐️
That house reminded me of my childhood and my grandmother house. Not the junk but the esthetics.
1 of my favorite tv shows when i was little & still is to this day still watch it ❤
It really looked like you mixed up pictures of Esther and Donna. And Hal Williams was on 227 for 5 seasons. The show was not cancelled. Red Foxx left.
Born in 77 i still watch, fall asleep , and seen damn near every episode. Hell i was fred Sanford for Halloween in 94. I might do it in 2025. Now im actually old now😂😂😂 i got Grounded for listening to my Dads, Redd foxx and Richard Pryor albums. Lol😂😂😂
“You ol’ fish eyed fool!!!”😂
Watched it back in the 70's and it's still one of my favorite shows. I still crack up while watching the reruns. Redd Foxx and LaWanda Page (Esther) were very close friends in real life and it was Foxx who had convinced the producers to give her the part.
" I can call the dice before they stop rollin!!!"
These culture vultures tickle me 🤗 DEMONd is lazy, nasty work!
culture vultures don't exist , why would anyone have low IQ , lack impulse control & be a lifetime brokie 😂
Ok, where ARE "they" 😂😂😂
Not that Tarzan movie 😂😂😂
Who is the woman in the still of this video?
My favorite line from Sanford & Son?
Lamont's friend, Rolo, came in with Lamont and said to Fred, "Hey, what's going on Pops?"
Fred replies, "My name's not Pop, it's Lollipop... and you're a sucka'!" LMAO. 😛
This crazy he has police tycoon music playing in the background 😂
I’m 59 and this was my favorite sitcom but when my dad come in and caught us watching he said 🤬and turned to Bonanza or Gunsmoke..RIP Red Foxx 👋🏼
the best still to this day 🏆
Came for the teets stayed fir the skits 😅
Gentlemen of the culture we gather here again today on this Joyous occasion
You have to put and this is important that it supposed to be in the Ghetto in L.A…. Maybe I missed it but great video!!!❤
I watched as kid. My dad loved this show, RIP Dad
He was my childhood friends neighbor. I’ve been to his house quite a few times while visiting her. We’d see him pulling up in his red caddy. Coolest guy ever.
My mom loves this show❤ (RIP) sometimes watched with her on UA-cam. Im 30 now.
I literally grew up on this show, watching with my Pops!!
It was common to hear the N word on TV in the 70’s. I don’t think that impacted anything
I remember being a kid thinking I can’t wait to grow up and drink some ripple😂
Things/people haven't changed much in 40 years. Always liked Grady 😊
Yeah, they got me too button =====>
'Demon' Wilson, I'm dying. It is pronounced 'Dee-Maan', I'm sure.
Umm...this isn't why I clicked.
😅😂
Great show and amazing performance by great actor who knew there job.
So let's remember the TLC song " Scrub" which record cover you just showed and The show "Scrubs"are TWO different things...WTF😂😂
My grandmother and I loved this show. Aunt Ester always made me laugh.
Excellent...very informative video...thank you!
The whole time I started watching Sanford and son Redd Foxx was already dead 🤯
Man I ain't see that lady the whole movie rip off
$25k per episode. Just twenty years later, most of the cast of Friends were making a solid $1 million per episode. Scariest part is that Redd Foxx is only in his early 50s in this show, looking like he's 70. Grady was in his 40s!
I don't think ANYONE, other than Lawanda Page, could have nailed the character that is, Aunt Esther......so glad they listened to Redd Foxx!
Sheesh who is that in the thumbnail..I was too young for this show
Never too young for this show. I watched the reruns.
"Sanford" was cancelled because Red Fox passed away during production
He passed away on the set of The Royal Family.
What's her name ..?the 1 with the balloons??
thats yo mama
I wanna know too , they so massive & plump yet firm - mamba mentality titZ
Her name is Catfish
Hal Williams played lead next Marla Gibbs and Jackie in 227! But he recalls Lynn Hamilton guest appearance! REALLY DUDE? 🤨
How could he miss his major role and show accomplishment? Staring Regina King. And Whitman Mayor played “Mr. Rhythm” in D.C Cab with Mr. T.🧐🤨🤔
i was just about to make a similar comment....He was a full time character on 227.
OK Mr. Sanford. Sporting leather pants. 😂
Hal Williams was the father in “227”. Very popular late 80s sitcom
Did he just say "shows like Scrubs" and then show TLC No Scrubs?? LMBAO
Them thangs thangin
I loved Sanford and Son, and 227 in the 80s.
Heart attack is a common theme for death in these iconic actors🤔
I noticed that. It's ironic.
13:23 I’d swear that’s Malcolm Little (Malcolm X) on the left. They were actually friends, though. They worked together as porters on a train
Me too im 51 years old I love sanford & son.
Fred and Donna were sitting on the couch kissing or whatever, and Aunt Esther had come in and stood behind the couch and said "Fred, who's this heatheness woman you got on my sister's couch?" Donna asked "Fred who is this woman?" Fred spits back "oh, that's my guard dog... woof, woof!" The way them two would shoot their bullets at each other, but Fred would say them classics, though.
13:24
Foxx on the right. Malcolm X on the left (not his brother).
You just can't get a credible story from anyone, these days.
I found a Red Foxx party record in my late grandfathers records that he left me. He never played that one for me lol
That side by side pic of Red Foxx brother is Malcom X 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why did they show a picture of him and Malcolm X and say it was him and his brother 😂😂
