This video helped me out so much, my ANG unit (Half the brigade and half the support battalion) is mobilizing next year and not having any knowledge of anything, this gave me a full picture of what to think about.
Thank you so much for taking your time and posting this. These kind of videos really help us understand what I happening, whenever we do get mobilized.
As a “Part Time” 1SG my self I find this and all your videos very educational. You keep it “real”, engaging and really simple. Thank you so much for the time you invest in these. I am sure you could be doing doing other things, the fact that you choose to do this speaks to the character you have. THANKS... We need more 1SG like you in these units across the US. 1SG Dones HHC 700 OKNG
Thanks battle. To be honest, this all started with me spending way too much time digging through regs attempting to answer questions I should have already known the answers to. After collecting a bunch of notes, I made the jump to record and share these nuggets with others. I figured that if I had these questions, others may as well. If more people like me and you stay curious and continue passing on our knowledge, we'll leave our replacements with a better NG than we inherited.
Thank you very much for posting your videos. I have enjoyed all of them. I have a son and a nephew who are in the NG and your information has been very helpful for me. I especially like these videos which cover NG deployments, as my son is scheduled to deploy in the coming year. Keep the videos coming!
it depends on what type of missions your state signs up for from NGB. You are generally in what it's called the "ready year" every 6yrs but there are other factors as well.
What’s a typical length for deployment?

It's my pleasure. If I'm going to spend the time learning the information anyways, I might as well share it with others, right?

Thank you for watching. I didn't anticipate my videos helping families.
Great video Sgt - as a clueless direct commission officer this is super helpful.
Glad it helped Sir. And in the vent you're rolling out the door in the near future, stay safe and have a productive deployment.
about how often does an ARNG IBCT deploy/redeploy?
