They loaded a sinking boat better than a lot of people on a normal day.
The perfect comment!
Exactly what I was thinking while watching it ! They did a dang good job-
+1
What was the reason why it was taking on water?
that is so true! lol
That dudes ability to climb into his ship from the water was no joke
What ship I didn't see a ship
@@daffyduck9901 the guy that help originally get the shrinking boat to the dock then jumped in the water to swim back to his boat
And some people can’t even climb onto the back of a jet ski!
It's a boat a ship is like over 200 ft long like the Navy has ships oil tankers are ships. That thing's just a boat.
@@daffyduck9901 did I not reply to you and say Boat? 🤦🏻
I've seen a lot of shit go down at the ramp, but these guys were absolute pros. Kudos.
Yeah, much respect for them especially working well together during an emergency.
@@elcajondavid1 Yup that was some serious fast thinking by so many! Well done. HOWEVER, anybody know why it was sinking??????
good job they didnt need the vhf because its too hard to put the radio masts up
Pros? Jumped overboard almost breaking a leg then a guy almost lost a leg while sitting on the trailer when backing under the boat then almost pulled the 2nd boat out with it tied to the first. To many people freaking out far from pros.
@@Tombomb1816 The only calm one was the woman oddly enough.
they got a sinking boat to the docks and off the ramp faster than most people could get their boat in and out of the water, Great job guys. and an excellent idea of tieing the stern to the other boat, you all need to get the Commendation Medals for that fast thinking.
... Good thing there were friends to help immediately when they got to the dock holding the boat mostly level (side to side)
@@240LTS Looked like the entire starboard transom was gone.
@@BrianProwker Good spot; I didn't notice that before.
I’m 70 and boating since I was a kid. I have seen a lot of stuff over the years but, I will have to admit this is one of the best saves I’ve seen. Quick thinking and logic by a lot of people, working in coordination. Most situations like this are total chaos with no coordinated effort. Love your channel and narrative. You provide lunch time entertainment to my wife and I daily. Moved from South Florida back in 2004 and don’t miss the boat ramp chaos, which just gets worse and worse every year. Now enjoy boating on small lakes up here in north central Florida. A lot more peaceful. Keep up the good work.
Me too, I live in cedar key and would never more back. I lived in lake city for a while but didn’t find it peaceful
What a blessing to be able to watch so many people helping someone in distress. Now, if only the world would follow their example.
Well said
Should be noted they assisted in helping. That group did a hell of a job.
In Miami I’m surprised there wasn’t 5 PWC’s Blocking their access to the dock and ramp
Cubans. I am so proud to be one😊
Cubans 👏🏻 Great team work!!!
This is EXCELLENT crisis management. Quick action by All Hands.

I can't front, race is in alot of things bruh. I never thought I would be the one to say that you tripping, but This is about saving a boat..
Now you got me feeling funny just saying that....smh
Well what happened to the boat? You left us hanging man!
Word has it, that bilge pump is still pumping!
Awesome job by that crew saving that boat and loading it faster than most on these videos!
Capt Bella again.. This crew and the grey boat helpers really moved fast and smart with some pretty good plan and saved this boat, it looks like the little transom door failed or got lost if you see the open square hole to the starboard side of the boat ...
The police officer is like " i don't get paid enough to do this." 1:05
LOL, I didn't notice that. Funny shit, he's like "Oh hell noooo"
Yeah he turned around quick
That was the best part of the video!
No thats why he flagged them down while they were leaving....
I’m glad he walked off he would’ve just been in the way
They did a GREAT job working together... I don't think anybody else would have been as successful ! Probably one of my favorite videos (because of the success)
Solid handling of the situation. Most people would have just stood there with a calculator figuring out how much it'll be to fix.
They did not panic which a lot of people can't handle the stress during emergency situations and like a turtle they retreat into their shells, or in this situation people just shutdown, which they didn't.
"Well....let's see, if my calculations are correct and I've taken into consideration the balanced weight from bow to stern and 92 degrees temp., then we could go ahead and just kiss the trailer up to keel at 34 degrees....
Ok, I'll bite. That'll Be Only Another Thousand.... BOAT. Good save, though.
I feel like these guys are tradesman...they are working very well together and everyone is covering a job...a true professional show they put on.
They couldn’t have done a better job saving that boat! No matter how the commentator feels!
GREAT JOB BOYS!
Great work by everyone. That second captain getting in the boat from the front was seriously impressive.
100% hero save and not a minute to spare! They even lined up in one lane instead of shutting down the entire ramp! A Plus!!
After a full course of schadenfreude watching people mess up at the ramp (and hoping I don't make a similar embarrassing mistake myself!) it feels great to watch these guys work together to solve what could have been a very serious problem. I hope that if I find myself in this sort of situation someday I will respond as well and have others around me who pitch in as everyone here did!
The captain climbing the bow of his boat, and getting back in, was some impressive stuff
Looked like the transom was missing on the right side of the engine, open to the sea. Maybe someone put a transom door in wrong (to low) and the door failed.
You can see right inside the boat.
Why didn't the commentator point that out??? It was pretty obvious.
1:35
I noticed that too but don’t know the design of the boat.
The narrator doesn’t have a clue.
I think that's just because it's sitting so low in the water. Normally that would be above the waterline. When they pull it out you can see there is a swim platform, the water should sit slightly below that.
That guy's climbing skills are on another level.
That is the slickest, most awesome, and most fortunate, best save of a sinking boat that I have ever seen. Excellent job gentlemen.
Wow. What a save. Excellent work by both skippers and the others.
Nice to see hard working competent people on the ramp. Those guys did not waste a second and all did things that make sense. Very rare to see.
Damn!!! That dude putting his toe in the tow loop and climbing the bow back into the boat...Damn!!! wish I was that limber!!
Brilliant using the gray boat to hold up aft of the sinker. Pro Level achieved 🏆
Wow, I love how all the people jumped in to help
Why didn't you go over there, and see what happened to the boat? Me and alot of other viewers would of loved to have known.
They forget to put the plug in is my guess
@@theresasalazar5822 well just keep the speed up and the water will go out, is that easy, I did that with my boat all the time in Florida.
That’s what I’m screaming!
Is the right rear of the transom gone?
I assume it's a walk thru with a swim ladder.
That's what I see too and no matter if it's a walk through or not it's lower than the water line, but to me it looks as if a portion of the transom has disappeared below water line
Looks like the walk through door was missing. Maybe it fell off and took waves in through the door and that is what started the sinking? Who knows.
@@240LTS Possibly, and the pump couldn't keep up but when they were being towed it was ok because it pushed the water back out the hole but fully caught up and refilled once it slowed down again especially with boat wake catching up to the boat and the opening just barely above water line the water rushed back in way too fast for the pump to keep up and began going down again. It was very creative to use the second boat to raise the stern though I've been boating a long time and that's the first time I've seen that, hope I never need it though. I know a lot of people who boat today don't understand that if you leave out the plug or whatever if you notice in time, you can just put the boat in gear and as you move it drains out the water and then you can put the plug back in unless, like nowadays in many cases, you have no access to the transom drain.
@@kw57rx8dr.9 Yeah, I assume something happened that got the water level up to the level of the door and at that point water was coming in though the door too fast.
That's what I call T E A M work. Together, Everyone, Achive, More.👍👍👍
A 100% effort, with a so-so plan, is better than a 50% effort with the best plan! Which is what I see I most these vids. These guys did a great job with great effort. Good for them!!!!
Well coordinated crew.
Perfect save.
Great group of guys there.
⚡ QUICK.
"Keel Guard" is a great product, it saves the hull from scrapes when they come to a rocky or cement shore. Second, these guys did alright in my opinion, saving her from a complete dunk in the water--which could have cost them thousands of dollars. Last, to boater and non-boater, tell me, what is the most probably cause of the near sinking? And do you know how to prevent it from ever happening? I GUARANTE you these boaters either knew--or learned during this episode, and will NEVER forget it. ONE LAST TIP, keep her on the downslope while she drains, let every drop come out before pulling onto level ground. If you are blocking others, pull up, but later, when it is clear, back down again, drain plug ou and let here drain. You will lose a ton of weight that way, get every drop of water out.
These guys did pretty freaking good. They did everything right and saved the boat.
Another channel down!! I have watched all these video too!! LOL I have really been enjoying them! Thank you! We were out on our boat one day and all of a sudden the boat motor was just pumping hot water into the back of the boat. We raced to the dock, yelled were were in distress and everyone moved to help us. We got out of the boat and we ran water out for over a half hour! My ex found out that the freeze plug had come out of the motor. That was the scariest thing I have ever experienced and that was enough! Thank God were were on a small lake!
I'm impressed that the guy grabbed the front of the boat and pulled himself up over the bow. That was probably one of the best recoveries of a boat sinking at the dock that I have seen.
I’m shocked to see so many people at a boat ramp working together like this. Maybe this planet does have a future 😃
Does not happen hardly
Unfortunately for every one good deed there are 25 bad deeds.
If this was an Olympic event.... This group def, would got the GOLD. So efficient and they worked together well!
I'm impressed... no way this is their first time doing this...
They do this every time they put the boat in the water.
That was the most impressive show of teamwork and keeping their wits about them. Great job!
That was pretty awesome how the captain climbed up on his boat from the front.
The voice over advice was totally just like a backseat driver; these guys obviously had it well handled
This narration has been brought to you by captain obvious!
Not the first time i have heard him mis- narrate a clip. Seem he just randomly calls it as his brain sees it and never edits or retraces after realizing what the deal is. The transom was obvious and never got zoomed in on or talked about. Both of which can be done during editing. To busy with voice over narrating to bother? Or leaving for the comment section? Hard to tell.
Had similar experience, have to beach it as fast as you can and deal with a problem. Get auto bilge pump so you know right a way that taking on water. Always check plug do not trust buddy puting it in :)) have a spare too .
@@redbear1935 Yep, had the same scenario with a friend. I told him to do it and drive the boat while i went and parked the truck and trailer. Come back to dock walking and the panic had set in on him and our wives. So i told him to drive the boat around in circles as fast as he could til i got back with the trailer. He argued but then did what i said. Forward motion forced most of the water out and he luckily drove it right up on the trailer when i got there. Quick drain, plug and parked the trailer and saved the day.
@@larss592 my buddy got upset that I asked him did he put the plug right :)). He had no idea that you have to screw the bolt tide and then lock , he just locked it lose :)).
Those guys did a great job, everyone was working together and no one was afraid to get wet. Good job guy
The Bilge pump is the most important part of your boat always make sure it’s working correctly
I don't know what they did to get into that situation, but I gotta say, pretty impressive recovery. And boarding from the bow.......don't poke that guy in the chest. Strong and dumb is the deadly duo, man!!!
How they dealt with this whole issue was quite impressive.....BIG thumbs up 👍 to everyone of them for the excellent team work including the other boat crews that assisted.
Fantastic coordinated save, by a bunch of guys, who knew what the heck they were doing!! A large number of boaters have serious difficulty navigating this launch site, under regular conditions. My hat's totally off to this whole group of fellas!!
They did a great job they were quick to action it’s nice when everyone helps out instead of just standing there watching
This team worked like a well oiled machine, perfect in every aspect.
I’m not convinced they haven’t been preparing for that moment their whole lives
Wow, what they did with the back of the sinking boat when they started to pull boat on trailer was incredibly brilliant. Best part of this situation that I noticed was it didn't appear that anyone panicked. They knew what needed to be done and got the job done. Everybody pitched in and saved the boat. Bravo.
Much respect to both of those crews
if you look around 1:30, they had a swim door open also on the back. The bilge pump would have never been able to catch up if it was getting to the bottom. But then again if they hit something like you said, the pump was doomed. I noticed some scratches under the bow.
good eye! I just noticed that too!
When the boats out of the water the starboard outboard is lower. I bet they hit something and it caught the outboard and cracked the transom.
Swim door does fuck all to keep water out, its only the plug they left out....another Einstein comment
That door is designed to be open at sea though, so it didn’t start the water coming in. The boat must have been taking on water before the door opened. But once the boat got low enough in the water for the waterline to be above the bottom of the door it would have let a ton of water in.
But man, they handled the situation like amazingly! Clearly handled it like pros from the time it started taking on water to the time it was pulled from the water!
Teamwork and clear minds pulled that off flawlessly. Well done everyone. 🇺🇸🏁
They need a medal for doing a super-duper job of saving that boat!!!
Nice job from the young bucks,,they worked as a team, didnt panic.nice finish....kodos to you guys!!🤟
I started a successful boat building business in the attic of my house.
Sails are going through the roof!
Absolutely great teamwork. These guys were thinking outside the box during this rescue!
Heck of a rescue of that sinking boat. The Captain of the tow vessel saved the day swimming to coordinate the efforts at the dock. They all did good working together and getting it done.
Well handled. Looks like someone had a plan, and had the balls to take charge of the situation.
Hilarious how that small truck pulled that large, heavily laden boat out with no difficulty...yet we see videos all the time of vehicles being pulled into the water.
And that dude that climbed the bow to get back on his boat? Man's got Spider Monkey genes!
That’s a Toyota Tundra…it’s a full size truck
@@jwboilermaker A tundra isn't full-sized. A Ram 3500 dually king cab with long box is Full Sized.
Tundra's a small truck.
Then apparently my ram 1500 isn’t a “full sized” truck by your definition.
“Small trucks” = Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado
@@jwboilermaker No, it's not full-sized.
Get something bigger if you want to call it that. Tocomas, Rangers, Colorados are just cars with a bed.
hats off to this crew from beginning to end entirely amazing!!!
Can you interview them? It’d be a great story for the channel!
They handled that like pros honestly. Impressive
didn't panic, everyone was doing something useful, i'd have no problems going out in a boat with those guys
Would be great to have found out why this boat took on as much water as it did. I agree with a few comments here about the open door at the stern to the starboard side of the engines, that door being open would allow water to vacate the vessel while underway. I would think the breach would be from a lower point on the boat. I keep a spare high-low bilge pump on my boat just incase. It may not be the cure, but it might buy me some extra time. Had to use it once when my float switch failed and bilge filed with water, mostly from washing down the deck with onboard hose. Hit the manual switch for the onboard bilge then tossed the spare pump into the bilge to vacate the water in half the time. Always keep a spare bilge pump and always check your main pump before you leave the dock.
It had a large portion of the back missing on the right hand side
@@georgeharrison2795 I saw that too, maybe a hatch fell out? Looked to square to be damaged...
Those guys acted quick and used their heads to keep those motors from going under by support from the bow of the other boat. Kept one problem from creating even more costly problems. Good job guys.
This was an AWESOME example of teamwork! Great job guys.
Together everyone achieves more. That's what these guys did, they where a team, heck of a job
Great job!!! Way to step up and pull together to avoid a catastrophe!
Nice to have a crew that knows exactly what to do! 💯
Amazing team, done perfectly
Excellent job! Kudos to the crew except the cap't for leaving a woman on a sinking vessel! 😁👍🌿
They did a great job figuring that out, it looks like they've done this before... That was quite impressive! They did a better job than a lot of people do under normal circumstances...
Seriously impressive work by these guys dealing with a difficult situation.
Great rescue for sure, Kudos to all.
That was an impressive crew, great job!
There was a panel missing on the back from behind you could see into the interior
That should be below the waterline, but the boat was sitting way too low in the water because of the water in the boat.
@@dustintunis9347 Don’t you mean ‘should be above the water line’?
My rule #1 is check the plugs! I broke it the other day because I had a lot on my mind and forgot. Halfway off my trailer I realized my mistake and caught it in time. Water is unforgiving and the second you don't respect it, it's going to hand you your ass or kill you. I'd rather see a boat scratched on the ramp than sunk in the water but it's life over property. Be safe!
ETA it doesn't take a lot of time with a drain plug out to take on a lot of water. It happens faster than you think.
Very good work, and not a moment too soon. That boat was going to roll in another minute.
Getting the trailer under it in quick order was also the right move, but NOT hauling it out while still half flooded! Boats are not built to withstand that sort of force from within.
The trailer should ideally never support much more than the dry weight of the vessel. With it in place, the boat isn't going anywhere, so the most urgent issue is solved. Something then has to be done to stop the ingress of water, at least to the extent that the pump can get ahead of it. Even a tee shirt or a cushion will often serve well enough, given that the danger has passed. Then the boat can be hauled out progressively further as it bails.
Watching this channel for some time and I have only one thing to say...
These guys really have their shit together.
They didn't jump overboard to escape to be fair, they were trying to tie up, but with bad planning >.
I wonder if the engine bracket platform began to leak. If their was a breach in the bottom of the hull you think the water would have been pouring out of it when they trailered it.
They hauled out the leaking hull ; )
i think the bilege pump can overcome the bracket platform leak. I think the reason for this must be some crack on the hull.
That's what I was thinking also. The fact that they didn't power in also adds a lot of weight to that theory.
I have a similar bracket on my boat. The bracket and the hull are 2 separate compartments, with 2 separate plugs. If the bracket fills with water, it will drag the stern down. If it gets down far enough, no bilge pump will bring the stern back up unless its in the bracket.
Impressive from beginning to end . . . And still the pump was pumping water!
Team work makes the dream work
Damn this was awesome to watch how fast these guys got themselves out of a situation that could have ended up so much worse.
I did not have great feelings about this when they started reenacting Titanic at the start, but they sure did turn it around and impress the hell outta me
If I had a sinking boat I’d want these guys with me
This is how all boaters should be!! Be in charge of your car/vessel and make sure it doesn't sink. They didnt just give up like everybody else and watch their car/boat roll down the rest of the way helplessly!
Dude 3 grown men jumping off getting approx 600 lbs out of the boat seem “excessive” wow seems to me they did a solid job
...and I think their initial reasons were to get someone on the dock to take up the lines.
Breaking your leg jumping into shallow water isn't a solid job.
@@s0nnyburnett didn’t see anyone breaking a leg in the video perhaps I missed that 🤷♂️
@@s0nnyburnett who broke a leg ?
Now that's what I'm talking about. Cool heads. Well done guys
Simply put GENIUS! Well done awesome crew!

Finally I see someone with some sense.Of course if you just showed the successful launches and removals nobody would watch.
About the smartest crew I've seen so far
Man you have some crazy people at that boat ramp jumping in the water with alligators are all over that damn boat ramp it's crazy , I'm not the one.
They did a damn good job of getting that boat on the trailer!
Great camera work! 👍🏾
Seeing where water is coming out after they get it pulled out, I think the hull is OK, as well as throughhulls etc.
I think a hose came off their live well and they were pumping water in. Once they're low enough in the water for that big door on the starboard transom to go under the deck will fill very quickly.
i mean, aside from a bit of water splashing off the pod when they jerked it, the only water coming out is the bilge pump. If the hull can keep water in, it also can keep water out.
Actually, scrap my original theory. There's a lot of water coming off that pod. Nobody would be stupid enough to run control and fuel cables through the pod and transom below the water line, right?
Right?
OMG, i think they did. it was not an accident, it was designed by an idiot.
They did an absolute bang up job loading it up 👏🏻
That turned out a lot better than expected
