Great video. In case my comment is read by others to supplement your information within the video, here are some of my own thoughts that were different and/or additional to your responses! #1) Positioning/Circulation of the Teacher to ensure they have a clear vision of the class as a whole. Constantly moving while keeping the class in your line of vision will help increase safety in addition to routine/expectations. #2) I think using 3-6 selected students from each group based on physical performance (low, medium, and high performer) would be good based off your initial response for this question. In addition, modifications of equipment, rules, assessments, and in-bounds space will offer students with various needs to be accommodated. Personally, I believe (when appropriate) offering ALL students a variety of ways to engage in an exercise, activity, or game will increase comfortability as well as overall class participation. This will also create a more inclusive environment were all students feel like they are given ample amount of opportunity. #3) Create unique, original lesson ideas! Offer stations when appropriate. Offer choice when appropriate or when the class shows good behavior. Try new things, if they fail, reflect and modify...and go forth! My number 1 rule for myself is: MAINTAIN ENTHUSIASM, whether you really enjoy teaching scooter lessons but dread teaching gymnastics (I'm not a gymnastics hater, Elementary Gymnastics had me sweating by 3rd period). I won't go through them all, but this video was excellent. I'm currently in the process of interviewing, and jobs are tough to land at this time. However, it's important to stay positive and keep going! If you're in the same or similar boat I am, YOU CAN DO THIS! Screening interviews and initial interviews are incredibly important for you to be genuine. Be yourself, don't let the job requirements or expectations mold you. I've learned that it's better to be turned down as not the best fit then pretend to be someone you're not. I can imagine that it would be tiring. Know your school, know your worth, and follow through with your passion. We need teachers, and Physical Education has become more and more important in a world where technology and sedentary lifestyles are becoming more prevalent. We need physically literate youth who understand how to goal set, communicate and work with others, and to simply work towards being a better human. Much love! Brendan
@@vershatehlan9809 it really depends where you live, what school district you go to, what type of school (public, private, charter), experience, education. It all varies.

Hello for question 3 i think you have to create ludic situation and form heterogeneous group. ALLAL in 1979 developp "le décalage optimal", in my own words its adapt the difficulty for each students that's give them accessible challenge.
Thank you for this! I have an interview today and I'm glad I found your channel. Although I majored in Phys Ed, I didn't do the cert program with student teaching. In my state lateral entry is now called a "residency" path. I have to wait until someone hires me to initiate the licensing process, and I think I have 2-3 years to get all that taken care of. I'm not completely green, though. I did an internship at the YMCA and I fell in love with youth sports. To answer your 2nd question: I would do some assessments and fitness testing with the participants like running, jumping, hopping speed, and I would put together a spreadsheet of where they rank in the class. This would be just for my information (only) to gage how to proceed in programming activities.
I love your channel! I start student teaching for my MAT Health and PE program Spring 2022. Would you by chance be able to do a video in the future talking about what kind of clothes that are best for being a Health/PE teacher? I would love to hear your opinion on this and see some examples! I figure professional athletic is the go-to, something comfortable to move in but also look nice, but it can be overwhelming sometimes trying to get some ideas.
I'm thinking of becoming a pe teacher or a personal trainer so these questions would be similar to both and I'm in my last 2 years of school so I've got quite q bit of time but this video was interesting to see what could be asked
Depends on the school district. Definitely check in with the school district you're planning on applying to and see if your degree is eligible to transfer.

Thank you! Good luck on your journey! PE teaching is the best teaching position (I’m bias 😅) with the least turnover rate in education 👌🏽
Thanks! The interview went great! It was at a private school, and I found out that my state doesn’t require licensing for private schools.

How can I be a pe teacher in usa ??? Could you please answer
Look at the requirements for each state because each state is different. Research where you want to live and research how to be a PE teacher there.
