+LittleBiglsteele Probably. It's the small hints that give away whether remakes are being made. For example in diamond and pearl there was the red gyarados show going on in the very beginning of the game. That alludes to the lake of rage event in GSC. The second hint was when Jasmine was randomly in Sunyshore city giving away HM Waterfall. From that, it was likely there was a GSC remake. Idk if there will be any obvious clues or not.

First pokemon game i played. Still think sinnoh music beats all others - case and point cynthias theme - best of the champions' themes by far. Srongest also, her garchomp was SOOOOO beast
Point taken. However, I implore you to listen to FireRed/LeafGreen. Even if you’re not crazy/nostalgic about their soundtracks, you must admit that they did a lot with those basic themes from Gen. I, especially considering this was the first generation they could handle more than three different instruments and they could’ve done a bajillion things wrong.
Gen 4 gets a lot of hate, but I probably have the most fun with Platinum (probably tied with HG actually) out of all the Pokemon games. This gen has lots of meaning to me, meaning D/P/Pt/HG and SS. It was the gen when all my friends would have sleepovers to play Platinum and the HG/SS when they came out. It was the gen when I started to take more seriously competitive battling. The music is the best in the series imo too. It's like how people like gen 3 for the trumpet. It's something about the deep bass in most of gen 4's songs, and the electric guitars that really stir me up inside. I'm looking forward to OR/AS, but I'm looking even more forward to D/P remakes!
Sinnoh is my favourite region, the concept of Mt.Coronet slowly becoming more and more revealed to you and it dividing the land is rad. It also has the one thing Hoenn lacks, a comfy ass snow area. Also Cynthia was pretty challenging I guess. I think PT is my all time favourite, it fixed D/P's issues majorly
Oh i think i know why they kept using the old themes on some legendary pokemons. remember that hoopa can like transport something out of space and time? and it used that to transport some legendries form other regions to hoenn? well its like pulling them out of their time line. thats why the theme is old because these legendaries exist in their respective generations using their themes in those generetions.
Someone said this, I can’t remember who, but I think it’s a pretty cool idea that’s worth spreading; that Dialga’s heartbeat may be similar to the ticking of a clock, given that time flows to its heartbeat. By the way, this music is awesome; it captures the variety of emotions and themes that are in getting the opportunity to battle deities of space and time. It’s dangerous and distorted, but at the same time, it’s an exciting and beautiful experience.
Excellent comment, I didn't realize how this theme describes these "heartbeats" of the legendaries. The pitch varying up and down could be an allusion to that, the distortion that happens may mention Palkia and the "tic tacs" may be an allusion to Dialga itself. Simply a genial song.
It makes me feel so nostalgic. Me, my brother and my cousin played the crap out of Diamond & Pearl. We actually had the first few copies here in the UK. My uncle brought us 3 copies while on his trip in the USA, so we got to play Diamond & Pearl before the they even officially released in the UK.
Dialga: Hey I can stop Time what can you do? Palkia: I can manipulate space *somewhere in an alternate universe* A marine biologist: Hey i can stop time what can you do? The marine biologists uncle's school friend: I can scrape away space
Dialga/Palkia theme: we are time and space itself you can not defeat us Giratina theme: I’m the year 2020 Lake trio theme: we are the emotions of life. we are wise, calm and appear randomly in your quest Arceus theme: *music of 3:00 a.m* Hetran theme: GET OUT OF MY VOLCANO
This theme is so underrated. No one talks about it, I can't ebelive every Gen 5 fans talk about that the legendary theme is underrated. It gets more attention than this.
TortoiseBlaster THANK YOU! Finally, someone who understands how this Legend Theme is underrated. If I didn’t start with Sinnoh and started with Unova instead, I would still think that this was the better theme.
That peaceful part at 1:57 is just really off-putting for me. It's like you just randomly started frolicking on Spear Pillar in the middle of your battle with the pokemon equivalents of the gods of Time and Space.
Brendan: I have the Weather Trio! I control the world XD Also Brendan: *stumbles on the gods of time and space* Palkia: *chucks a spatial rend* Dialga: *fires a roar of time*
im hoping that when gen 4 gets their remake, it will have something like the delta episode in oras and add giratina and the distortion world in it. that would absolutely be sick!
This theme excited me beyond belief and sent chills down my spine when I first got here on August 28th, 2007. I was 9 at the time, going into this battle with a PP-tattered team cuz I had just battled Cyrus. I totally forgot I had the master ball and was trying to catch it in Poke balls XD I did grab it but half my team was dead lol. And I also had no idea that the Lustrous Orb was way in the back behind Palkia until after the 8th gym, just before the league. Fun fact: I am 22 going on 23 in February and just picked up this game again. I’m getting nostalgic chills all over just from the rival theme. Looking forward to playing through this gem once again :’)
So this master peace, with Cyrus theme and Cynthia's along with the lake trio plus giratina makes for gen 4 winner of best soundtrack in Pokemon history
I think I can distinctly remember... 3? tracks from my playthrough of black and black 2. I can remember just about every track from Diamond/Platinum. Gen V isn't close to Gen IV in that regard
Just because you fanboy doesnt mean anything, lol. Pay attention to the soundtrack next time to see that only the PWT finals theme beats every single sinnoh theme. Then we have Alder's encounter theme, accumula town, the gym leader's last pokemon theme, the ordinary legendary pokemon theme, N's final battle theme and I could talk about the music tracks that only play like twice in the entire game but are still better than a vast majority of gen 4 music Sinnoh games only have Cynthia ' and and all galaxy team related battle themes, maybe add frontier brain theme in Platinum. all city themes besides sunnyshore are lackluster, there's no e4 theme to begin with and there are only two route tracks that are any memorable, which are the first route theme and the pokemon league theme (the one that plays indoors). There's just no soul in most of sinnoh music and the ost has probably the less instruments in the entire franchise, which makes it even harder to distinguish any of the themes it has aparte from the ones mentioned before
What version do you pick? I Will pick Shining Pearl because: Mismagius (Pearl) or Honchkrow (Diamond),which One Is Better? Both, but Let's choose the One that ISN'T A FLYING TIPE so 1 for Pearl and 0 for Diamond Palkia or Dialga?I like both but Dialga is kinda overrated,so Palkia 2 for Pearl,0 for Diamond Purugly(Pearl) or Skunktank (Diamond)? Purugly, because Skunktank Is ugly The Only Diamond victory Is Rampardos to Bastiodon
Hell no man, Cythia's theme. Cyrus theme, Sinnoh gym battle theme. The route theme's. Girantina's theme, the lake trio's theme. Gen 5 has alot of good music, but theres only one other gen that has more, gen 4.
Gamingshogun 9105 Even the pokemon company thinks the theme is good. So good infact that they have used it in some of the khalos region movies. Usually music of a specific generation, stays in that generation. Sinnoh music is the only music used outside of sinnoh games, anime and pokemon movies.
This is a seriously underrated battle theme. Instead of going for intimidation, it going for a feeling of awe and grandeur. Pretty befitting of two otherworldly gods with untold power.
I always find it interesting how Steven is a Steel type trainer and Wallace is a Water type trainer and exactly the next generation, the main Legendary Pokemon just so happened to be Steel and Water Type Dragons.
But what about a game that has every region in it? That's all that's needed to make the perfect game. All five regions... and maybe Kalos. Though that one's optional.
The piano makes this theme sound so......divine like you're fighting a deity, which you technically are, but the other instrument in the background (I think it's a drum, correct me if I'm wrong) makes it feel somewhat intense as well.
+Alixstar11 i feel you. i like groudon a hell of a lot more than kyogre, but i also like lugia, zekrom, dialga, thundurus, and sableye more than their counterparts
+MinecraftSkillz44 Diamond was also my first! Dialga for life! Alpha Sapphire was just the perfect game. Gives me all my favourites except for Zangoose.
MinecraftSkillz44 I didn't mind X and Y. The music was really techno based, and I do really like the legendaries. But Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby are amazing.
I'm sure they didn't remake the themes so we could all blow our loads when a gen 4 remake comes in 2-3 years> I just hope they remake platinum instead of diamond and pearl.
***** Maybe, or maybe not. HeartGold/SoulSilver had many things from Crystal, but then again, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire didn't have much from Emerald.
Jfc this track has so much effort built into it more than any other legendary theme I've ever heard in the entire series. Props goes to that outstanding piano
WHY IS IT THAT THE MAIN LEGENDS FOR D/P HAVE SOME OF THE THEME OF WHERE YOU CATCH THEM? AZELF/UXIE/MESPRIT HAVE THE LAKE ISLAND THEME IN IT, AND DIALGA AND PALKIA HAVE SPEAR PILLAR??? woah
LenaDaPug it's because since the rings or spacial drifts where you find them belong to hoopa and he's basically just pulling them out from their original region and time.
Gotta appreciate how this song starts off as if it had already began, then loops seamlessly into itself. That in itself plays very well into the concept of these pokemon being based around time and space.
yeah, no this is the best Pokemon OST of all time. Cynthia’s Champion theme is great and all, Red’s is cool too... But this is the theme that truly has you feeling like you _finally_ made it, this is it.

aww that is the power of nostalgia
I really love how this track lacks the aggression and darkness of Giratina's as they're not underworld creatures, however it has its fair share of critical dissonances to it so as not to forget these two will kick your butt nicely too.
luckily it's mot Giratina's theme in either games

1:04 changes the tone completely and that piano sounds elegant.
Yes, it is definitely my favorite part
First pokemon game i played. Still think sinnoh music beats all others - case and point cynthias theme - best of the champions' themes by far. Srongest also, her garchomp was SOOOOO beast
Point taken. However, I implore you to listen to FireRed/LeafGreen. Even if you’re not crazy/nostalgic about their soundtracks, you must admit that they did a lot with those basic themes from Gen. I, especially considering this was the first generation they could handle more than three different instruments and they could’ve done a bajillion things wrong.
I totally agree
Sword of Sanghelios What about Giratinas theme. IMO Lance and Iris had better champion battle themes than Cynthia
Steen Zaragoza-Faoagali NOOOOOOH
HELL NO, Cynthia's theme is the best champion's theme. FACT.
It's my fav Gen/region. Unova would be my 2nd fav and Hoenn would be my 3rd
Platinum, first game, favourite region.
To me personally, Gen 5 was the weakest generation of all.
***** same except like the other region other than sinnoh is ties with hoenn or sinnoh is my 1favourite and hoenn 2 favourite
Hmm, interesting!
So, explain me why the beasties' theme is in 8bit, and the tower duo's theme is a remaked one
In HG/SS the Tower Duo had their own theme, in Gold and Silver...they didn't, the had the normal Wild Pokemon music
Are you kidding. Even the beasties have their own theme
Joon Myeon
nope, he/she is not kidding. Lugia and Ho-oh hadn't their own theme in silver and gold. Only the beasts had their own theme.
1:57 This part gives me goosebumps it sounds like you are going to save the world with a final blow.
My uncle brought us 3 copies while on his trip in the USA, so we got to play Diamond & Pearl before the they even officially released in the UK.
true epic gamer moment

Friends: What kind of music do you listen to
Me: You wouldn’t get it...
Oh yeah, I know what you mean
I can relate, Pokémon soundtracks are all I listen to
Palkia: ZA HANDO!
Dialga: STAR PLATINUM: ZA WARUDO!
Giratina: CREAM!
Arceus: OVER HEAVEN!

Sounded like swords.

Palkia: I can manipulate space

Arceus: hmmn i want to make the first pokemon have EXTREMELY LONG necks... ah, there we go ! To mc arceus then my giraffe children !
Long necks, in my opinion, makes they look more... Majestic.
That edit really messed me up 😂
This theme is so underrated.

This is the most intimidating yet calming legendary battle theme
That peaceful part at 1:57 is just really off-putting for me. It's like you just randomly started frolicking on Spear Pillar in the middle of your battle with the pokemon equivalents of the gods of Time and Space.
+Nep Nep The mental image of that is the best
+Nep Nep That's hilarious! Later on after that, Giratina pops up and just stares confusingly at you.
+Nap Nap it ends at about 2:03
+Nep Nep It sounds like a composer for the game made up a really nice tune but didn't know where to put it, so they just slapped it into here.
everyone's a critic
My favorite Legendary theme from the main games. Just incredible
They released the shiny version of these in Pokémon Go recently 😁
Honestly, 1:31 is the best part for me. that sweet key change!
Brendan: I have the Weather Trio! I control the world XD
Also Brendan: *stumbles on the gods of time and space*
Palkia: *chucks a spatial rend*
Dialga: *fires a roar of time*
Brendan: Wow i can finally test my Master Ball
Lol
Dawn and Lucas: NOPE! MINE!
im hoping that when gen 4 gets their remake, it will have something like the delta episode in oras and add giratina and the distortion world in it. that would absolutely be sick!
omfg that is brilliant
or make a remake for platinum called Empty Platinum (i'm bad at remake names)
Groudon From the Hoenn Region No Distortianal Platinum Because Giratina Is In The Distortian World
I think Giratina should be linked to the main plot, and the special episode should be to get Arceus.
I hope they keep the modern/classic feel of the gen 4 music, the bass drum felt iconic to me
This theme excited me beyond belief and sent chills down my spine when I first got here on August 28th, 2007.
Cool story dude
the part in 1:57 - 2:06 should've been longer, its way too good.
it's a bit longer in the smash bros version of the theme
So this master peace, with Cyrus theme and Cynthia's along with the lake trio plus giratina makes for gen 4 winner of best soundtrack in Pokemon history
Ehm, Gen V and VII both wreck Gen IV, when it comes to the soundtrack.
Then we have Alder's encounter theme, accumula town, the gym leader's last pokemon theme, the ordinary legendary pokemon theme, N's final battle theme and I could talk about the music tracks that only play like twice in the entire game but are still better than a vast majority of gen 4 music
Sinnoh games only have Cynthia ' and and all galaxy team related battle themes, maybe add frontier brain theme in Platinum. all city themes besides sunnyshore are lackluster, there's no e4 theme to begin with and there are only two route tracks that are any memorable, which are the first route theme and the pokemon league theme (the one that plays indoors). There's just no soul in most of sinnoh music and the ost has probably the less instruments in the entire franchise, which makes it even harder to distinguish any of the themes it has aparte from the ones mentioned before
I love this theme but it’s kinda too upbeat and jolly kinda for 2 dragons who’s responsible for being the creators of space and time
HEY
we all know that gen 69 has the best music
I am addicted to the start of this theme.
The piano is amazing.
Right? They did not need to go this hard with this theme lol.
Fits, though, as it's the battle theme for what are essentially the Pokemon Pantheon.
how doesn't this guy not have at least 1M subs?
I Don't care for the graphics at all [they are pretty cute tbh]
I just want to hear this theme in the remake.
Honestly? I thought the overworld looks great, most of the characters look good, it's just Dawn who got a little... Squished
@@toaster_bloke9999 yup, the overworld is actually amazing. The only problem is honestly the squished characters
The graphics are cute, the battles are in 3D, we get to replay Gen 4 probably with a Platinum episode.
What version do you pick?
I Will pick Shining Pearl because:
Mismagius (Pearl) or Honchkrow (Diamond),which One Is Better?
Both, but Let's choose the One that ISN'T A FLYING TIPE
so 1 for Pearl and 0 for Diamond
Palkia or Dialga?I like both but Dialga is kinda overrated,so Palkia
2 for Pearl,0 for Diamond
Purugly(Pearl) or Skunktank (Diamond)?
Purugly,because Skunktank Is ugly
The Only Diamond victory Is Rampardos to Bastiodon
My only hope is that they keep the Battle Frontier and don't play with us like in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
Gen 4 had best music hands down
Gen 4 was excellent at legendary themes, but gen 5 was best at music. Hands raised :D
Hell no man, Cythia's theme. Cyrus theme, Sinnoh gym battle theme. The route theme's. Girantina's theme, the lake trio's theme. Gen 5 has alot of good music, but theres only one other gen that has more, gen 4.
John Dudst. What? Sinnoh's Gym theme and Lake trios theme was terrible! My opinion of course.
+Kevin Li we clearly don't share your opinion cuz those themes are awesome
Gamingshogun 9105 Even the pokemon company thinks the theme is good. So good infact that they have used it in some of the khalos region movies. Usually music of a specific generation, stays in that generation. Sinnoh music is the only music used outside of sinnoh games, anime and pokemon movies.
1:56 BEST PART
VEGA same its just so bootiful (mispeld un porpus)
I never made it to that part. I was too eager catching Dialga. Hearing it now makes me regret my childish eagerness.
Yes is beast part
Oh yeah, I agree it is!!
the ethereal vibe of this song makes so much sense once you realize you're literally fighting the pokemon equivalent of angels
This is a seriously underrated battle theme. Instead of going for intimidation, it going for a feeling of awe and grandeur. Pretty befitting of two otherworldly gods with untold power.
Still love this, even when it's not a remade theme
We have traveled TIME and SPACE in the future of sinnoh remakes

For some reason, this theme gives me hope, strength and motivation. Thank you Junichi Masuda, I am forever indebted to you!
I always find it interesting how Steven is a Steel type trainer and Wallace is a Water type trainer and exactly the next generation, the main Legendary Pokemon just so happened to be Steel and Water Type Dragons.
they don't need to make new regions, just remake them all on 3ds and everyone will be happy
does this mean they'll remake Kanto and Johto one more time for 3DS!? then if it is then i'll say " IM COMING HOME!!"
pilipinongdugo Well Kanto has been in 4 Generations, too be honest Kanto is overrated and that nostalgia is what makes it cool
yup just remake kanto jhoto Hoenn and sinnoh over and over and over and people will be happy
and unova.......once
But what about a game that has every region in it? That's all that's needed to make the perfect game. All five regions... and maybe Kalos. Though that one's optional.
The piano makes this theme sound so......divine like you're fighting a deity, which you technically are, but the other instrument in the background (I think it's a drum, correct me if I'm wrong) makes it feel somewhat intense as well.

***** Maybe, or maybe not. HeartGold/SoulSilver had many things from Crystal, but then again, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire didn't have much from Emerald.
Sorry to say, the only Talk from nintendo regarding a new game is "Well the anniversary of pocket monsters yellow is coming.."

This brings me so much nostalgia since Pokemon Diamond was my first Pokemon game
Jfc this track has so much effort built into it more than any other legendary theme I've ever heard in the entire series. Props goes to that outstanding piano

Fernando Cacéres The songs have been like that since Diamond and Pearl, so your reasoning is wrong.

I love how everyone just agrees that Pokémon music is top tier
The beginning of this soundtrack BUMPS lmao
The piano really gets me everytime it comes up. Just so good.
The first real piano in Pokemon series. Nostalgic
Definitely one of my 2 favorite themes from gen 4. the memories. if they ever remake these games they better not mess with the theme
but if game freak hard of glitch hop,it would be good,in my taste
The best part of the theme goes from 0:00 to 3:00.
That’s exactly what I was thinking the best part was too!
Have to agree
agree
Disagree, The best part was 3:01
Gotta appreciate how this song starts off as if it had already began, then loops seamlessly into itself. That in itself plays very well into the concept of these pokemon being based around time and space.
This tracks fits Dialga more. The musoc really sounds like a battle of time.
I completely agree.
False
Track feels more of the vastness of space, the pianos express the expansion and the nearly endless frontier that is space
@@nuclearmonster8084 I think it does a fine job expressing both time and space
