- My God! I finally made another one! Whee! Fun. Okay, so... I never actually played this game but I watched all the FMVs while making this bad boy and it inspired me to do some artwork on these characters. Woot! Enjoy!

I had to take a break partway through his death scene. I was bawling, like my puppy just died bawling. They did a great job on Crisis Core.
I know that in anything you produce or make the beginning has to be perfect, and you (sir or madam) made that beginning just phenomenal. The moment I saw the glass shatter in time with the music, I knew this was going to be an excellent video.
You know, I'm not even that big a fan of Nickelback, but this is worthy of being favourited. It's both well made, and the song is very aptly chosen.

Trust me, you will want to play these games!! After playing the games and finding out the backstory I found that I enjoy these FAMV even more because I understand the story and the characters even better!

While this is true, there was an obvious connection between Cloud and Zack. I think it could be argued subconsciously Cloud knew what Zack did for him which is why after Cloud's mind and memories got all twisted from the Mako poisoning he essentially took on a mix of Zack's persona with his own. Hero worship in a sense. I know one can say he just wanted to be a Soldier First Class, but Crisis Core adds a whole new layer of depth to Cloud through Zack. I love both characters. Cloud a little more.
Whoever thinks Zack looks like Sasuke has obviously never seen Noctis before.

I love FFVII, its such a great story. And Crisis Core? There are no words for it! I've seen many people complain that Square Enix exploited FFVII's success by making Crisis Core and Advent Children but, I bet that if those same people played this game by the time they got to the end there would be no way they couldn't have some sort of emotional reaction to it. That is what makes it an amazing story :)

I dunno in my mind it's cool to think of it like that. After playing Crisis Core I replayed Final Fantasy 7 and thought to myself. Well maybe Cloud subconsciously chose to take on character traits from Zack, out of respect, and to honor his memory on some subconscious level. Furthermore it was Zack's influence that in the end gave Cloud the confidence to step up and become in my opinion the greatest hero in Final Fantasy history.

Yes, it is. It's actually the reason I bought a PSP. On the bright so though the PSP doesn't cost that much anymore, at least the original doesn't. If your thinking of getting a PSP just get the original, at the very least don't get the PSP Go. I did and I traded it in, losing my money, because they switched to download only games and the online store you buy them from has a very tiny selection. Anyway, this game really is well worth it, it's one of my absolute favorites.

I agree, I only think people said that cause of his first haircut, but I still don't see it aside from the bangs. If anything Noctis's hair from Versus XIII is like Sasuke's. But I don't really like comparing Zack and Sasuke, they're just completely different that comparing them is silly ^^

You've obviously never played the FF7. Cloud didn't have a freaking clue what was going on when Zack died because of Mako poisoning and in a way Genova's influence.
He acted out of it more base instinct but did he actually comprehend - not in the slightest.

Except you need to consider the fact that the best friend that Cloud had, also being the only reason that he is still alive, died. He would have been acting the way he did because he had to sit by and watch Zack die without being able to do anything about it, no matter how much he tried.
You'd feel the same way if you were in the same place that Cloud was.
I played Crisis Core without knowing that he would die at the end, because this was the first game i played of the FFVII Saga ... and i hoped until the end that he would become a hero q_q but then he died so heroically... i bought the psp only to be able to play this game

There is no last day in Final Fantasy universe...Becouse all who die goin inside Life Stream and after alot of circulation,can reborn without memory and skills...Life Stream is same as Mana Stream or Hades Stream in underworld....Only Sephiroth can come from Life Stream with skills and memory,becouse he Ancient...

Sure Zack is adorable - who can't love the "puppy". Cloud, well he really milks the "woe poor me" act {I mean Tifa suffered as much as he did with the destruction of their village and yet is stronger than him for not lamenting}... and in all truth he didn't love Aerith [neither did she] as he was more acting off the belief he was Zack [seeing as his brain was 'fried' for the first Final Fantasy VII bits].
But give me Angeal and Genesis any day. Both had characters that could have gone better
