Hi Talon being a retired Photographer well I guess you never retire LOL. I loved this video I have a few Lecia's they do give a different feel to the image for sure and its my grab and go camera small fast easy. My everyday cameras are Canon 1DX Mark 3, and yes you can spend more money than people pay for a home LOL. I have been shooting since I was 17 and I am 63 never stop shooting Talon and have a very Happy Holidays, maybe we will run into each other some day and talk shop
Would love a more in-depth review on the Q3. I’m considering getting one but the price is huge! A better breakdown of the camera features, as well as pros and cons would be super helpful.
That was actually a great look into the gear you’ve been using to produce the images on your Instagram page. As far as reviews go, I’d like to see you talk more about the Sofort 2. I currently use a number of Fujifilm Instax products but, being a Leica shooter as well, I’m wondering how the Sofort would integrate into my workflow with my M camera and the Leica FOTOS app.
How is it editing on an iPad? Is it fast enough? Was curious about dumping those huge raw files in. I use a Mac and MacBook Pro currently for my photo work.
I use an iPad mini which works just fine but it would be much smoother and probably faster on a iPad Pro. I have too many video files on my computer which is why I use iPad for photos and MacBook for videos 👌🏼
Great vid, Sei! I use Sony and Canon professionally, but hate taking the gear out on personal outings and usually use an older, smaller Sony. I think I'm going to go into a Micro 4/3 system for photography/video for personal use. Smaller bodies, smaller lenses, easier to tote around but still give me the quality I'm looking for. Looking forward to your video gear kit! Also, with you being out west in mountain country do you ever do any astrophotography?
No IBIS and more importantly, no tilt screen are really limiting. Gear should be fun but the results are more important. Not having perspective options is a dealbreaker. I sold my M system for a various of reasons.
@@RegrinderAlert you're not wrong, if it's not the right system for you then you shouldn't use it. I love mine and prefer it over all my other cameras. I love the experience of using it, the results I get from it, etc.. never had an issue with manual focus or lack of ibis. I consider the lack of "technology" in the M cameras to be an enjoyable challenge. Reminds me of the film days too
@ I also prefer manual focus on any other system. But for my current style of photography I want tack-sharp city-scapes with the human elements blurred and anonymised. Basically ~1/15-1/30s and stopped down, bad weather.
Take us through the editing flow and how you store al your photos. Trying to decide if I should pul the trigger on a NAS myself
Don’t forget you need another automated solution to have another backup, not just the NAS.
Great and informative content as always dude.
Milwaukee Packout for the win.
Pelican and Leica 🎉🎉 double deluxe! I rock this gear, love it.

Really nice walk thru! Thanks.

Pretty cool setup, I learned basics on Pentax K1000 all manual 35mm film.
That set up is insane

@ awesome man. I’ll thinking iPad Pro for packability. You should do a Live Photo edit or maybe critique someone else’s photo
Yup
Would have loved to see some quick cuts to some of your favorite images from each lens/camera setup.
Check out my instagram 🤘🏼
Would be dope to a review on the Q3, especially with it having a fixed lens

Thanks man! I rarely do Astro stuff. I have the patience for it but for some reason I just never do
Did you ever do a camp kitchen setup video?
No, but I will in a few months
The problem about Pelican case is weight. If you travel and check in your equipment will be very heavy.
My father was a photographer 📷 Our dog’s name was Leica.
That’s awesome 😆
i want to be your friend
Get an M camera dude. Theres no experience like it.
I’ve messed with em but they aren’t as practical for what I typically shoot

@@TalonSei I hear you man, definitely not for everyone. Definitely depends on your needs.
