@@nickc3856 You are who Mike was referring to when he said you would never in a million years say shit like this face to face with anyone. Pure fucking human garbage
Can we please all appreciate the mental toughness of this man for going 3 hours and 39 minutes with this woman while seemingly never breaking eye contact.
He deserves a medal. The discipline . A weaker man would have caved in the first 10 minutes. God bless you Mike. You are a true professional who was put in a difficult circumstance and you handled it like a Champ. All of your training could not have prepared you for the interview and yet you stared at the tall mountains and managed to climb to the top. You are my hero.
Out of my 68 years, 45 of them being in radio, this has to be right at the top of the best podcasts I have heard. I was riveted as the stories were being told. Mike, you were awesome, and gracious as a host. Lara, your honesty & vulnerability was truly felt. Thank you to you both for being just “you”, & not trying to be anything else.
This was an incredible interview! I have to be honest, the part that caught me was the beginning when you asked Laura about the 3 things she loved most about living in the US. I think every person should listen to her describe freedom, I am an American and I love freedom as much as she does as a South African. I Thank her so much for her love for this country. I laughed hearing the tacos and blue jeans & Johnny Cash wrapped up in there, because that is America, and we are so lucky to live here. I admit this was the first time I have listened to your podcast, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. the time went so fast. You have a new fan. Thank you for your service! I am from a military family, and volunteer with disabled vets, happy to have found your show! Thank you Ms. Logan for your wonderful work, and for such honesty, you passion for truth and your love for not only America but for this world as well. Thank you Mr. Ritland, its your voice our world needs more of.
Proudly South African and really enjoyed your show. Lara, your bravery and life story is truly inspirational. When I saw this was over 3 hours long, I thought there was no way I'd watch it all. I was engrossed and watched the entire video. Lara had me feeling so proud as a SAFA and even had me shed a tear or two. Mike is so right, you have to write a book.
In my 70 years of life, I've never been so profoundly moved by an interview. An absolutely awesome profile in courage. I'm not sure a man could deal with the horror in Lara's past with the grace and dignity that she displays. Your children are truly blessed to have a mother of such immeasurable class. The world needs your dogmatic principles now more than ever. May God continue to bless you and fill you with the grace you so richly deserve. What an honor it must be to know you personally. Thank you, Lara!
@@Jeffrey314159 Lara Logan was cheating on her ex with this guy (her current husband, who was also married to another woman at the time) . She's been involved in multiple public affairs. Marriage doesn't mean much to her or her husband so I'll talk about her fat milkers all day long and you can keep your uninformed opinion to yourself, dummy.
@@nickc3856 Well Mr Know-it-all, that was a long time ago - - she has been happily married to the father of her two children for ten years now. I am well aware of her past mistakes, both personal & professional. If we become so vicious in our beliefs to the point we don't listen to contrasting views, we are no better than the animals that obscenely assaulted her. Do you really want to become like that? "He who has not committed sin, throw the first stone"
Thanks, Mike one of the best interviews I've ever witnessed. The perspective of Lara on the state of media was very enlightening. the strength of Lara as a human being is very humbling indeed.
Holy hell this podcast was something else. Lara is an such an incredible person... I have no words. I also really appreciate how Mike always asks relevant questions and doesnt make it about himself, unlike so many other podcast hosts.
Love this video! I am the Mormon grandmama. I am married to an awesome retired US Navy SEAL. All the episodes I've watched on your pod are fabulous. And we have a challenging border collie, so TEAM DOG has been very helpful. Wonderful book for personal growth, leadership skills and taking responsibility for ourselves. So thanks for all you do and the great sharing you do!
This was a great interview. The strength of this woman is amazing and her story is mind changing and life altering. Lara is an inspiration on many levels.
Powerful. I was awed by Lara's ability to process the bigger cultural picture behind her experience of being sexually assaulted, and by her bravery in sharing the physical and emotional details. Thank you Lara for sharing your many experiences. Thank you Mike for bringing this guest to your podcast. And for those who thought there was no dog training - you're right. But there was some very funny dog non-training that provided comic relief in a serious moment.
I am a native Texan who still lives in the state. I listened to the podcast yesterday, and will listen again. It was so damn refreshing to hear her say what many people have been saying for a very long time. I am thankful there IS social media, so people can do their own research instead of taking what the MSM says is gospel. That is what I want people to do-don't take what the MSM, celebrities, or anyone else as the absolute truth. Investigate things for yourself. I HATE the fact that social media like google, youtube, instagram and twitter are CENSORING those they disagree with. That bites. IF celebrities come out, and attack the President, and those who might support him, or his ideas, I stop supporting them by not going to movies, watching their tv shows, buying their music, or stop following them on social media platforms. Some don't give a shit about those who put them in the position they are in (fans), which is fine, but don't be shocked and awed when their support dries up. Thank you for this podcast, and thank her for doing it.
WOW what a great episode!!! I’ve always really liked Lara but I admire her so much more. She’s one of, if not the best journalist of my life. I miss seeing her stories-they were intriguing, accurate, and involved first hand reporting that you couldn’t really find elsewhere. The fact that the MSM tried to screw her and she stood up to them, shows you the type of person she is. She doesn’t care about all the BS and just want to do the best at what she loves, and that’s journalism. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
wow. Lara Logan. Courage, integrity, tenacity, intelligence, humility, boldness... I can't find all the words. People like her need to have more influence in the world. There is too much of pettiness, narcism, dishonesty and the consequent suffering caused by giving too loud a voice to the wrong people. I watched this interview in installments over three days, not because I couldn't find the time to do it all in one sitting during the lockdown but because I needed time to digests and assimilate different messages and insights. Thanks for the chance to be a fly on the wall. From now on I will perk right the hell up when I hear the name, Lara Logan.
>> I NEVER listen to interviews that are 3hrs 39min long, YET I couldn't put this one down!!! Earlier in the video Lara kept me captivated with all of her stories & the fact that she kept sharing insights about what was happening in those situations that we never hear in the news. Once she set her mind to doing something she never let details get in the way. I also realized that only someone like Mike with his Navy Seal experience would be able to really understand & allow Lara to share so much. Although her experience in Egypt was hard to share, I applaud her for being willing to express what happened and how she has dealt with it, including how it has affected her husband. There were many times during that discussion that tears were rolling down my face with great emotions. There are many reasons that Lara was allowed to survive and I don't think any of us can fully appreciate the scope yet. I'm glad that she has not turned angry & bitter & revengeful for the rest of her life. I certainly would like to see her publish books about various experiences she has had. What would be most meaningful for me would be for her to share in shorter books devoted to a narrow topic and what she learned that could be of value to others. For example, she mentioned several times about how our country has often been a "friend" of others for awhile & then abandoned them, so others are often distrustful. Can Lara share examples at a personal level of working with others that would help us understand the implications as well as possible solutions going forward? This is the most educational 3+ hr video I've ever listed to in my life and I sincerely thank both Lara & Mike for sharing!!! All the best in both of your lives going forward!!!
That she does. As a lady veterans of 15 years and two deployments? I'd go into battle with her any day. She is brave, intelligent and unafraid of the truth. God Bless Lara!
Its unbelievable to see how america is going now. We have a clueless president being controlled by people who obviously hate our country. Theyre doing everythjng in their powers to do the exact opposite of the constitution and people dont seem to care as long as $2000 is in their banks.
Yep. But if you think she's lovely now, go check out when she was 10 years younger. Go see "Lara Logan's Baby Drama" on YT, for example. She seriously used to be model-hot.
Lara looks so much healthier now, than this time last year. I think she had some medical issues (perhaps leftover from her ordeal in Egypt?) that made her look unwell, and a bit older than forty seven.
Wow. Lara is an amazing human being. Love her outlook on life and her honesty! Her ability to remember all of the minute details of her life experiences, her intelligence and ability to think quickly on her feet in a variety of circumstances, and to be able to relate and show respect for others is in short supply and commendable. I’ve never known anything about her before this interview. Thank you Mike for introducing this amazing woman to into my part of the world. It gives me a glimmer of hope that there are some good people in the press that still want to do the right thing and keep themselves truly accountable to themselves and work by ethical standards to really present the facts. It’s getting harder to find what the truth really is by every passing day.
Ms. Logan, thank you so much for this profoundly important interview. I came to hear your revelations about journalistic bias--a very rare admission--but I was devastated to learn the intensely painful details of the attack you suffered in Egypt. My eyes filled with tears as you shared, with so much bravery, the horrific events that took place. You are a courageous and intelligent woman and I have no doubt that your voice has the power to impact many of the imbalances you referenced. Having paid such an unthinkable price to practice journalism, you are uniquely positioned to be heard by your peers. I am moved and inspired by your story. Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow, I am moved by your comments. Thank you for sharing them as I agree with them all and it's a comfort to know there are other viewers who GOT it, and understand the importance of her honesty and truth seeking..
Amazing interview, I could listen to her all day. The interviewer did such a great job making her comfortable and drawing out these stories we can all learn from. Also like how he didn’t interrupt her, just let her talk. Well done 👍
I became fond of her with guest appearances on FOX. Personally & no offense to other guests on FOX but I thought she was so incredible and skys above the rest. Ever since I look forward to seeing her but lately I have not been able to catch her. THANKS to Mike & podcast crew for what I will call the BEST interview I have ever, ever, ever, heard. EXCELLENT JOB! I admire her thoughts, ideas, opinions & her in depth experiences. Her remarkable life experiences & ability to talk about them is appreciated & refreshing. Mikes questions were undeniably well thought out & he asked questions in detail & tough ones w/ sensitivity. I admire her bravery & thank her for sharing her experiences and Mike for his bravery & service to our Country. Together both have restored my faith in honest journalism. From the candidate F bomb & real life interruptions to the jab on Mike's ability to pick ugly flowers. Phenomenal Job all around & look forward to the TV series! 😉 ♡ GOD BLESS ♡ THANK YOU ♡ GREAT JOB ♡
Thank you Mike for that powerful interview. I enjoyed every minute of it over the course of two days and gained a profound respect for Lara. What an amazing woman. She has more courage than I could hope for and is such an inspiration.
I know this interview is over three years old now but I just stumbled across it and I must say how riveting it was. I had no idea who Lara even was before I found this and I had no intentions of spending 3+ hours of my day off watching this interview but I couldn't walk away. Lara is an amazing human being not only for her strength but I am in awe of her dedication to journalism at it's purest form. How ironic that I was directed to discovering this from a libtard hit piece that Yahoo News posted today about how a former mainstream news darling has strayed to become a far right mouthpiece. Thank you to Lara for remaining true to herself in a sea of shit and thank you Mike for your service to this once great country.
Thank you for doing this interview! People do want to hear what Lara is saying and honestly my 7 & 13 year old daughters will be listening to this interview. I feel better for listening to this! God Bless you both!!
After 30+ years in law enforcement with many years of experience of interviewing, this was the most honest interview I have ever witnessed. Thank you to Fox Nation for airing Lara Logan and for her interview with Mike Ritland. Call me sheltered when it comes to news because I am a Fox News junkie, I now have two honest sources to view and I will be a loyal fan of both of you. Thank you again for this incredible interview. God Bless both of you.
Someone needs to make a movie of this brave and driven woman’s life. She has literally been to hell and back, yet you would never know it talking to her because is to busy living a full life to marinate on the tragic wrongs done to her. This is a strong woman. I would love for her to have her own interview type show.
Well, I listened to the interview from start to finish. This woman has lived the experiences of 100 life times. Incredible story. This was easily one of the most powerful interviews that I have to which I have ever listened. She radiates a bravery only seen in the likes of elite soldiers and leaders. The story of her bravery is remarkable, but in this world it is almost equally remarkable that, she is actually a real journalist is meant to be. She observes and reports facts. So many of those on television, cable, online, etc.who claim to be journalist could learn a lot from her. Listening to her only reinforces that sad fact that most modern day news outlets are devoid of real journalists. Kudos Mike! Incredible interview. This is your Mona Lisa.
Just a few of the standout quotes for me from some of the best (3) hours of conversation I've ever heard: "No one owes you a living..." "Those 3 1/2 months in Afghanistan were very hard, but they were also some of the best time I've ever had on earth..." (How absolutely true is that?! We go through the grinder, we forge ourselves, we bond, we struggle, we survive...and we treasure the journey / experience because it has meaning.) "I gave my respect and my time..." "Why would I give them the *rest* of my life?" Thanx, Mike. Thanx, Lara...and all the best. Oh, and God bless Texas.
Incredible interview of an incredible, incredible, incredible journalist - so refreshing and gives me hope that there might be other journalists like her who will seek out and report TRUTH (someone else mentioned Sheryl Attkisson, and I completely agree)! Her honesty was so very refreshing. Lara's sense of loyalty to those who've helped her amazed me, willing to risk her life for them when everyone else was turning tail and leaving, that is a true and faithful friend (same goes for her friend who came to America to be by her side following her attack in Egypt). She most certainly has been targeted by the Left and will most likely be blacklisted by them for the rest of her career. We need people like her, honest journalists searching for and reporting truth, to start their own news organization so that unbiased truth can continue to be reported. A very powerful interview, Mike - thanks for what you do!
I know. MAN. This was gold. I am still reeling and hope people FUCKING understand how important this interview was! A voice like hers could change the entire industry. She needs her own network and if I had the funds I would back her in a New York minute!
Lara, Thank you for sharing your life as a journalist and the power of believing in one's own self. I am so happy to hear that there is someone out there that loves what they do, putting your best foot forward in finding the truth and reporting it. I am sorry that you ever had to go through being demoralized by some really ugly people, ravage animals to say the least. I hope you do write a book about your life and all the adventures and mishaps during the course of your life time. Keep with faith as you continue your non-bias journalism, moving forward, stronger than ever before. But always stay safe. May God bless you and your family, always. Thank you, Mike for interviewing Lara, the interview was powerful and real.
I just watched the whole interview with Lara. I had to break for dinner but got right back on here with my headset on so I wouldn't miss a word. All I can say is WOW!! I thought I cold listen and still catch up on Facebook or play a silly game while I listened. Never happened. I had to watch and listen to every word. I'm sure I'll have to watch a second time. Riveting. Our son was a Marine during the time Lara when was in the field. I wonder if their paths crossed. Thank you Mike and thank you Lara. Patriots!
Thank you for this amazing interview. Lara is someone that I would be honored to have as a friend because of her depth of knowledge and reflection of her life experiences, badassness, and dedication to motherhood. So many components of the interview resonated in my heart.
When I first started this video, I didn't think I'd be watching the entire thing. I quickly found out just how she was so persuasive in her early career, because I found myself hanging onto her every word. I'm now done, and took a few minutes to think about things. I realized, I've never respected a female more, in my entire life, than I do this lady, right now. Amazing interview, thank you.
Lara Logan must be the strongest person on the planet. She has my undying admiration. What amazing courage, honesty and integrity--qualities sorely lacking in mainstream media today. I started following Lara a few years ago when I watched her interviewed. I loved it that she refused to be politically pidgeon-holed and simply stated that her objective is the TRUTH. Why is truth in the media so hard to find?
Lara Logan may never read this but she is the reason I started watching 60 Minutes again. I found her stories to be interesting and fair while everyone else was/is looking for a slanted got you moment. What a breath of fresh air to hear her be completely honest about the media we already know is well slanted to the left and is seldom unbiased. Thank you Lara!
One of the best interviews I've ever heard. This is my first time finding Mike's podcast, what an amazing life story behind the familiar face of Lara Logan. Thanks.
Great interview! Riveting and thought provoking. Mike you are an amazing interviewer and I'm sure your podcast is going to continue to grow as people hear about you.
What's so messed up is lefties always say people like me don't like strong women and that I'm sexist/mysoginist for not liking and disagreeing with feminists and Hillary Clinton, Cortez etc. But the women they prop ups as strong are usually always man hating, feminist, America hating, smug, preaching intersectional non sense and labeling all straight white men as evil. They also prop up people based on supposed victim status for being made fun of for being shit. They never promote people like Lara, Dana loesch or women soldiers, teachers, emts, doctors, etc who show by doing, being brave and don't shove their gender or sexuality down our throats. These women like Logan protrude beauty, brains, real courage and determination. Not grievance mongering, division, hate on white straight men, and dependance like far lefties seem to admire.
My first time viewing one of your podcasts, and will definitely have to tune in to more. Great interview! Lara, keep true to yourself and maintain your integrity and honesty. As you said, people may not always like or agree with you, but if they know you are honest, they will respect you more. I can’t imagine what you went through in Egypt.....and to be able to not be angry and want revenge says much about you. You are a courageous (albeit crazy) woman and I thank you for all you have done. Mike, thank you for all your service to our country-past and present! God bless you both🙏
Great interview ~ this woman is inspiring which means she won’t be part of mainstream media for much longer because inspiration isn’t their goal . I hope she goes on to something where she can share her life experiences in a positive way like she just did here . Yes she is beautiful but more than that she is intelligent and as a woman I think it’s great she is genuine & doesn’t filter her language & try to be anything other than who she is . Wish there were more journalists like her .Frankly she’s been through hell during her career being embedded with troops over seas and didn’t give up ~ much respect to her for her integrity & strength. I like the fact that Mike let her talk & asked great questions .

Mike, what an incredible interview. You are exceptional at being alert and listening, not trying to butt in and force the interview, and it really made this interview top notch. That was the fastest 3 and a half hours of my life. Well done brother
Wow, just finished listening to this and I really liked it! Especially the nuanced perspective on the media in today's world. Lara showed impressive strength and character which is something I rarely say and write.
Lara I’ve never met you but I’ve followed your reporting most all my life. I’m just a few years younger. I just want you to know that I’ve never seen another journalist with more integrity than you, and that you are a national treasure and a voice of reason in the woke chaos that the U.S. has become. Please know that I would happily lay down my life to defend you, as would countless other true patriots across this country. GOD bless you and keep you Lara Logan. You are a TRUE journalist.
WOW, so refreshing to listen to a real true and honest journalist. I've not really paid attention to her over the years. Was watching some Q stuff, caught that quick part, decided to look her up, which brought me to this interview. I'm very impressed with this awesome lady. I've not listened to a journalist in my lifetime this down to earth with so much common sense. She's beautiful inside and out. Love her stories, such a great story teller, had my attention the whole time as if I were right there beside her in all her travels, different countries, wars ect...So sorry she went through that awful attack, I pray she's able to overcome it as time goes by, I know it's been a while. Something like that certainly takes a while to feel even close to normal again. I can tell she's a very strong person and probably the rock of her family and friends. She definitely restores my faith in journalism. I had given up after listening to the ones in mainstream media last few years. Guess this interest me so much cause as a young girl I looked up to journalist, was a prestigious career. I wanted to be one or a writer. Always had a pen and paper handy and over the years I've written numerous short stories and songs, keeping them in composition notebooks filled away in my dresser. Five or 6 years ago I was doing research online and what I found about our government was shocking. The more I researched the worse it got. One day i realized i was fully awake and aware of the deep state, shadow government, mainstream media ect... It made me angry but mostly broke my heart for our great country and it's people. The journalist I had so much respect for I watched slowly become puppets and sounding board's for whoever paid the most and brainwashed the best. I've since spent my time REDPILLING as many that wish to listen. Lara Logan has boosted my confidence today and I needed that. This battle we fight for our country and each other takes a lot of time and energy if we are truly serious. Bless you lady, keep up the good fight, dont get discouraged, you know its mostly spiritual by now. Will keep following you and prayers for you and family.
John Stossel has a report that verifies most of her claims that the MSM is biased against the POTUS: ua-cam.com/video/2XoS-s4DIGE/v-deo.html And more, Hillary has gotten away with so much criminal conduct over the course of her political career - - Bill & Hillary must be coated in superTeflon
I am speechless with this interview; I am a massive fun of Lara Logan’s work! she has created her class of the best, and she is the only member. WOW!! I lived in a few countries that she has been reported from; she got it so right with the honer, building relationships, and trust. I wish people from the United States could travel more and experience different cultures. Afghanistan culture is one of the warmest and beautiful countries in the world. Egypt- I don’t think the government targeted Lara for her reporting that horrible evening. She was the target of Egyptian men because she was a woman and a foreigner. Unfortunately, it is part of the most Egyptian men's culture to tread a woman like a piece of meat from my perspective with the Egyptian men around. Mike, you have done a fantastic interview with Lara, best wish to you and your team that put it all together. Thank You, First-time listener of your programs.
Mike you have to be one of my favorite interviewers, Period. Straight forward, candid, a bit Salty and 100% honest. That's why you and Lara gel so well. You both are fearless when it comes to truth and who you are. Fantastic!!!!
What an amazing interview. Mike I have been catching up on all of your podcasts and can't begin to explain how great they are. From one veteran to another thanks for all you do and thank you for your great service to our country.
What can a person say after 3:40:00 of listening to Lara Logan? The word that is pounding in my mind is......superlative. Such a professional journalist, in a time where that quality is nearly extinct. What a superlative human being. I find it totally understandable and fitting that you two are friends. You both share that passion for excellence. Lastly, regarding her horrific experience, I am reminded of a gentleman by the name of Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch fame, the one and only. A quote from him that I find particularly salient, "Some guys just need to be shot." Yes, they certainly do. Thank you for posting this.
The most important interview I have experienced in years. So much to hear, experience and understand from the most courageous journalist on the planet.
Lara's passion for journalism is an inspiration. The interview and her candid response are an amazing way to spend three hours and hear both a great interviewer and interviewee. Nice job Mike. BTW, loved the 3hr mark and the dog. (I'm serious, liked the real life aspect of an onsite pod cast).
Thank you both for this interview! This lady has single handedly convinced me that “Good” reporters are still out there. A true non biased reporter that understands they should be neutral and tell the facts and let us the individual form opinions based on that truth. We need to find her news company and use our power as the people to make her ethics on reporting the standard again! I will support her and those like her however I can in the future!
What an amazing interview. Believe it or not, I had never heard of Lara before this. It’s obvious she’s a quality human being. This world needs more true journalists like her. So many great lessons to be learned from her story!
Wow! What an amazing podcast! I’m blown away- figuratively of course. The quality of interviews you continue to have is amazing, Mike. I’ll be digesting this one for months to come. My wife is equally blown away. Thank you & God bless
This is one of the best and most clear headed interviews I have ever watched. Lara Logan is very bright and hoplessly honest, and while at an obvious risk to her own professional career, gives us a true and accurate account of her life in the media, and perhaps an ultimate hope for all of us that we may see some truth from the media in our future. And that's a good thing.
Remarkable stories. Most of us never listen intently to a 1/2 hour discussion, much less 3 1/2 hours of conversation. Mike has done an excellent job facilitating this, to show Lara Logan’s truly unique spirit. She’s got 9 lives and they are all very interesting. So thankful she has “lived to tell about it.”
Amazing podcast! Such a strong woman! I appreciated every story she shared, even the gut wrenching story of her sexual assault in Egypt. Thanks for sharing this Mike!
The Dog! Rose is like, "owner emotions rising, must deploy distractions....come! Pet the furry one, feel better! Wait why, are you getting rid of me! You can't do this to me! DO you have any idea who I am! I'm an emotional support animal!!!!" Door closes.... Back to one of the hardest stories I've ever heard. Thanks for leaving this in...it communicated the realness of her home and household. I have never heard of Mrs. Logan because I live under a rock. She is a true Human amongst humans. We are all so lucky to have her on this planet.
ericj305 have you not watched any of her reporting or or talks over the last 10 years? She is a real journalist and tried to be careful not to give opinions. Few reporters have been actually been in the danger she put herself in for years. The Marines in Iraq certainly give her props. Her Chicago speech a few years ago was an exception where she called out many media along with a couple generals
I’m completely blown away by BOTH of you. Lara is one of the most engaging, honest and interesting people I’ve ever watched and you, Mike, do an amazing job asking all the right questions. My new favorite podcast. Thank you both!
From a female perspective, I appreciate Lara's extensive knowledge and deep understanding of the issues and cultures she's reported on. Her bravery, strength, and dedication to reporting the truth are to be commended!!!
Wow!! I'm only 1/4 of the way through this & this woman has lived life! You could spend 24 hours interviewing her and still not scratch the surface of his stories & experiences! Great catch, Mike!
Thank you for this interview -- what an incredible story and important perspective Lara has! I'm glad she's speaking out about the media bias in particular. It's SO CRUCIAL that people start paying attention to this issue.
He always wears a ball cap every time he does an interview. This is hardly anything new but if you're implying that having the cap pulled down low over his face means that people can't tell that he 's staring at Lara's breasts(which I don't believe he was ), I think you're wrong. But where I do agree with you is that I think it's a great interview.
What a awesome interview, i enjoyed listing to all of thos and hearing Lara's stories and perspectives. We need more people in the media like her. She is is awesome!
I have never been moved so much by a podcast. She is an amazing woman, we are lucky to have her as an honest correspondent. I am hooked Mike. You have an incredible podcast Library. I am in awe of this lady
Amazing. Didn't know her, didn't know her story - what a fantastic woman. Strong and honest as few, one of the best interviews of the channel hands down. Congrats, Mike, spectacular regency as always, reaching far too, spreading the chicken wing all the way to Brazil. Getting addicted to the content, very inspiring interview. Cheers, man. And lady.

All of your training could not have prepared you for the interview and yet you stared at the tall mountains and managed to climb to the top. You are my hero.
G H He climbed to the top and never looked down. Like a gentleman. Get it now!
This right here! That's a fucking compliment! And well damn deserved. 🤜🤛🇺🇸
We need much more of this !
One of his best !!!
Yeah truly great interviews start with your favorite breakfast question and worst hangover question.
@Lolla Bells Boers are FREE, Sovereign, have Dominion and have ALL AUTHORITY
This is awesome Mike.
Hopefully he got to suck on those juicy milkers
@@nickc3856 You are so crude, this woman is married
@@Jeffrey314159 Lara Logan was cheating on her ex with this guy (her current husband, who was also married to another woman at the time) . She's been involved in multiple public affairs. Marriage doesn't mean much to her or her husband so I'll talk about her fat milkers all day long and you can keep your uninformed opinion to yourself, dummy.
Mike at first this shit made no sense and then it become apparent your a genius!!!!!
Not enough people like her in media anymore. What a brilliant an honest woman.
...I love a woman who cusses like a sailor, drinks you under the table and still be a good wife and mother.
I wish I had payed more attention to this gutsy honest lady reporter many years ago - - gawd what I missed out on
WOW what a great episode!!!
Well said.
I love those dark shiny tight spandex Blue pants she is gorgeous ly keep s her curves in with big legs and delicious ly A nice beautiful Big Booty
Damn, I'm such a sap, I started tearing up during her discussion of freedom..She has more of the American spirit than most people I know.
Really liked her perspective and comparison of Nelson Mandela and America and her value of freedom.
Definitely has American DNA as I call it. The yearning for freedom, that yearning for something more. A go getter
What an absolutely lovely woman. Beautiful and intelligent... Great show..😁👍
Yep. But if you think she's lovely now, go check out when she was 10 years younger. Go see "Lara Logan's Baby Drama" on YT, for example. She seriously used to be model-hot.

@@cindybooth923 You're just jealous.
Michael Feddeler I agree!
Lara looks so much healthier now, than this time last year. I think she had some medical issues (perhaps leftover from her ordeal in Egypt?) that made her look unwell, and a bit older than forty seven.
This may be the best interview I have ever watched or listened to in my entire life. Congratulations to you both! Well done.
She’s one of the few journalists that give “journalist” a good name. Glad Mike has individuals on who don’t bullshit left and right.
My thoughts as well. An actual Journalist
I wish conservatives and Lara could have reached common ground many years ago
Amazing interview, I could listen to her all day. The interviewer did such a great job making her comfortable and drawing out these stories we can all learn from. Also like how he didn’t interrupt her, just let her talk. Well done 👍
So happy he just let her talk. We're so used to interrupting and I really love listening to both. Fascinating
Mike Ritland is a fantastic interviewer ! ua-cam.com/users/MikeRitland
99.8 percent positive, grateful and inspired comment section. That's incredibly rare these days. I loved it, and thank you both!

What a wonderful interview! Thank you, Mike Ritland, for helping us know this amazing journalist Lara Logan
Thank you Mike for that powerful interview. I enjoyed every minute of it over the course of two days and gained a profound respect for Lara. What an amazing woman. She has more courage than I could hope for and is such an inspiration.
This has to be the best interview I have ever watched. I've always been a fan of Lara Logan but now she is off the charts. Love her honesty!
Honest news sources... Hahahahahaha.
Someone needs to make a movie of this brave and driven woman’s life. She has literally been to hell and back, yet you would never know it talking to her because is to busy living a full life to marinate on the tragic wrongs done to her.
This is a strong woman. I would love for her to have her own interview type show.
Outstanding work! I've always been a fan of Lara's but had no idea she was such a badass. She's already had lifetimes of experiences. Well done, Mike.
Just a few of the standout quotes for me from some of the best (3) hours of conversation I've ever heard:
"No one owes you a living..."
"Those 3 1/2 months in Afghanistan were very hard, but they were also some of the best time I've ever had on earth..." (How absolutely true is that?! We go through the grinder, we forge ourselves, we bond, we struggle, we survive...and we treasure the journey / experience because it has meaning.)
"I gave my respect and my time..."
"Why would I give them the *rest* of my life?"
Thanx, Mike.
Sad to see her past amazing works unraveling in spats of attention grabbing madness. Sadly she's lost the plot.
That interview was one of the most amazing interviews I have ever witnessed Lora is a absolute credit to her profession .👌👍👋
I always knew Lara to be a true journalist and a fine one at that. I admire her bravery in telling her truth.
Wow! This will take some time to all sink in. I'm so very glad Lara got through this and that she was brave enough to share her story.
What a powerful woman and a powerful interview! Thank you Mike and Lara!

So refreshing to hear a CBS journalist appear objective! Thanks Mike for the great interview!

if anything ever needed to viral it should be this interview. thanks mike and Lara.
Thank You,
First-time listener of your programs.
Mike you have to be one of my favorite interviewers, Period. Straight forward, candid, a bit Salty and 100% honest. That's why you and Lara gel so well. You both are fearless when it comes to truth and who you are. Fantastic!!!!
Brilliant interview! TWO real professionals.
What an amazing interview. Mike I have been catching up on all of your podcasts and can't begin to explain how great they are. From one veteran to another thanks for all you do and thank you for your great service to our country.
There is nothing that I don't like about Lara Logan. I enjoy her reporting immensely.
Reading the articles vs watching the interview, I'm so glad I watched this interview.
The most important interview I have experienced in years. So much to hear, experience and understand from the most courageous journalist on the planet.
Totally agree. I learned more from this interview than from a week's watching any news channel.
She has convinced me that reporters are human and fundamentally flawed.
What an amazing interview. Believe it or not, I had never heard of Lara before this. It’s obvious she’s a quality human being. This world needs more true journalists like her. So many great lessons to be learned from her story!
What a great interview. Love the "Rosie the dog" interruption...thanks for keeping it in !
Such a courageous woman. I could listen to her all day long.
Always liked her reporting but found such a deep respect for her prescience, grit and the honesty of her experience. Great work Mr. Ritland.
I watched the whole interview. Simple "After listening to her, I get back my hope in human kind" What a beautiful human been she is. Thank you Lara.
It appears her tour of duty with CBS may have been ended. Sad, really.
BIG THANKS Mike for your service to keep freedom alive. Excellent interview with LL. My best jesse
"Ugly flowers" made me laugh!!! I've seen Lara on Fox, after listening to this I have a huge new mad respect for her, she is a true badass!!!
Amazing interview, Great great stories,i enjoyed them all! I wanna part 2!! but Thanks so much Lara for just being honest! God Bless you!!
This is hands down my favorite interview from Mike. What an amazing woman. Her courage and strength is evident.
By far one of the most interesting and emotional podcasts. Thank you so much!
The most powerful interview I've ever watched. Thank you.
The Dog! Rose is like, "owner emotions rising, must deploy distractions....come! Pet the furry one, feel better! Wait why, are you getting rid of me! You can't do this to me! DO you have any idea who I am! I'm an emotional support animal!!!!"
Door closes.... Back to one of the hardest stories I've ever heard.
Thanks for leaving this in...it communicated the realness of her home and household. I have never heard of Mrs. Logan because I live under a rock. She is a true Human amongst humans. We are all so lucky to have her on this planet.
A truly amazing woman-
God bless her and her family!!!
GREAT INTERVIEW MIKE
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
One of the best interviews I have ever listened to.
I wish FOX would fire Shepard Smith and hire this woman
Get rid of the half woman and put in a full woman.
D-Gauss LoL exactly!!
Or Juan he pisses me off!!
ericj305 have you not watched any of her reporting or or talks over the last 10 years? She is a real journalist and tried to be careful not to give opinions. Few reporters have been actually been in the danger she put herself in for years. The Marines in Iraq certainly give her props. Her Chicago speech a few years ago was an exception where she called out many media along with a couple generals
Hopefully Hannity can make it happen, he said he was gonna speak to the bosses at Fox. I don't think he was kidding.
Lara is an amazing person. I'm a tremendous admirer. Great interview.
I'm so glad that y'all videoed this blog. It was an outstanding interview. I would have been lost in her story...
This is the most powerful interview I've ever watched.
Love Lara, her accent her looks and a potty mouth...another great Podcast Mike.......I've been eagerly waiting the release of this one.
drayhazel I’m not a fan of the cursing. You can give your point without cursing.
I am so thankful to hear an educated well spoken woman drop the f bomb as often as I do
Kathy Edwards there’s no point in cursing though
Strong, powerful, courageous and amazing woman. Thank you Mike for a great interview and for your continued service to this country.
Ritland is smart to hide his eyes from the audience with his strategically placed ballcap.
On a serious note, great episode!
Ha! Took me a minute but I got it...
Bob Israel I agree. He is focused on the intellectual...but come on...he is a former Navy S.E.A.L lol
Agreed.......we need a real media.
And lady.
