@@CodyHarmonyou’re doing gods work, I’ve always wondered how fishman’s supposed unique technology for how the clasic/moderns work voice 3 compare to true single coils and you’re the only one that actually documented this.
This was super helpful. I am surprised with how much I prefer the Classics in this, which is nice since I have a set lying around that I am thinking about finally installing. FYI you might want to check out the Fishman Fluence Greg Koch P90 set. I am a huge fan. Just tried out the Reverend Gristlemaster and the pickups were mind blowing. I did not care for the guitar enough, so I sent it back and ordered a trio of the pickups along with a Reverend Jetstream 390 to put them in.
Classics are just fantastic. I have the p90 set actually! They’re amazingggg, I need to do another one of these videos and include those in it next time:D
The guitars themselves sound so different from eachother. The difference in the pickup settings was subtle by comparison. Those pickups really allow the unique sound of each guitar to come through.

thank you for this. It seems that they've made the voice 3 of these humbuckers a lot louder than regular single coils, to probably be a better match to the humbucker modes.
Hey man, Im dropping HHH in my SG.. In your research and opinion. Which HB sounds the best in single coil mode? Which in your opinion is best jack of all trades? If I were dropping 3 in HHH in an SG..
Man that is tricky, i havent actually heard what they sound like in the middle position. I personally love the classic neck as a single pickup, but some of the artist series are a little more versatile and can do a strat 2 or 4 position by combining coils from each pickup(henson and abasi pickups). I think for this question you may want to call fishman support! Its pretty specialized
@@CodyHarmon Thank you man, Fishman did send me schematics for 3x Classics with 3 voice and phase. I saw Greg Koch using HHH classics in an Epiphone LP and it was great but, theres so many new models deciding which does the most stratty tone when split, man, I Cant decide. Thank you for your vide, time, and response. I enjoy your content and value your opinion.
great test
Thank you!!
This was great. Thank you for the hard work
This is super useful dude, thank you for making this!
No problem man!! Let me know if you think of anything else:D
Thanks so much, wish people would do this for the TW series of emgs, IE EMG 57/66TW 81TW/89 etc!
If i can get ahold of those i can do that too:D haha

The bc rich had the best sound overall .
Coming back with new knowledge a few years later i think the pickup height is optimal on that guitar compared to the others
Open core and tosin sounds far from single coil sound
