The stitching on the leaves came out well. As for the middle, the spots of yellow look good but I would keep it simple for now. I say that because I would need to see more of the top come together first. Fun piece, great colors and fabulous texture.

I love the yellow bits, they add another dimension to the piece. Not sure about the sparkly bits yet though sometimes it isn't until something is in place that you really appreciate it!
that is so true! It's all about the feeling I find, and trusting that it all works out (however slowly!)! 😂
This piece is coming along nicely. I do love a bit of bling, so I would put just a small amount of it in the background, just to give it a little sunshine glimmer poking through, sort of like a dapple shade.
ooo I do love your ideas Teresa, and dapple is such a delicious word, it evokes something lovely!
I love the leaves and I think the yellow works well. I like the sparkle, who wouldn't, but it may be that you need to work on the top section first to ensure the whole piece is balanced.

Hi love the glitter pieces with the yellow made it come to life and matched the bark with the light effect. I wonder what the glitter bits look like on top of the yellow pieces, as if sunlight is catching the morning due?

I like the yellow on the yellow, not to take away from the orange part. Question, I use bobbin fill for my bobbin thread, it looks like you use more expensive top stitching thread? Is there a reason? Thank you, just curious.
thanks Lu, good call then! I actually use whatever I have in, sometimes aim to match colours, or not if it's not important. I have some cheap and some less cheap! I use them however the mood takes me haha! 😂
