I own the new Kingston cloud II and its very similar to the new HP cloud II. the original Cloud II has way better build quality than my current Kingston Cloud II
Now i get it thx i also have a new Kingston and was wondering why some of the new Design elements on the Cloud 2 HP looked the same on my Kingston thx
@@namydad6547 are the headphones still good?
@@denisrobin2380 yea i enjoy them i do notice only a little difference between the new Kingston and the HP i use the HP at Work since we use those Cloud II's and i have my Kingston at home the new Kingston does have better design not as good as the old one from the looks but its minimal and the Audio difference to the HP isn't massive the Mic seems a little worse tho
@@denisrobin2380 i wouldn't switch them for now since i love using the Hyper X Cloud II's can't find any alternatives that would suit me and im not a audiophile i do have a desk mic with stand tho since the Cloud II is basically just good for like work meetings not for my gaming needs it does work but its like bare minimum
The most important change is the Micro mounting was changed each time.
Im planning to buy Cloud Alpha. How do you tell them apart if i want to buy the kingston one? Or Cloud Alpha isnt changed?
Good question, not sure if the Alpha is different.
When I was young, I had headphones by HP... probably the worst headphones with comfort, quality, sound and mic :D Cloud 3 for 110 € in my country just no, thanks. You can buy Cloud 2 or Alpha and you will be fine with better mic.
The HP model, the DAC is inferior, the audio is lower, the speakers emit lower audio quality, it has shitty bass, in addition to the housing and construction being of inferior quality.
You did the microphone test using the HP model's DAC, the Kingston model's DAC lights up the name in red, so the microphone's audio was bad.
Where is the DAC in use visible during the test?
5:20 no its not the same the HP one is very tin sound the worst sound ever
HP is better
Its literally the same in every aspect, expect I like the newer looks more than the old one.
Thats some bullshit. Hp ones are worse in every aspect. The sound the build quality. Are you paid for saying that?
@@amisauto4360 I just got a new cloud 2 to replace my old Kingston set as they are getting pretty tired. I instantly noticed the build quality being a bit different, but not bad, the sound itself is the same for me so far.
@@amisauto4360 Are you paid by a competitor?
@@loganmedia4401 ofc 1 dollar for every comment. But who pays me? Russian goverment? Kingston doesnt exist anymore bud from what i know
@@amisauto4360you are just making things up because your mad. It‘s the complete same, except the color.
❤
HP profit-maximized the shit out of it.. as usual.
Did they though?
@@loganmedia4401 Yes, they replaced rugged material with cheap hard plastic at a point of stress which has caused numerous failures which you can look up. They also did this to the ear cups which lets in more external noise.
those soft touch plastics at the end of the headband might have a crack on them for you in 2 years my hp model ones are fully obliverated. i hvent misstreated the headset, its just cheap plastic.
The drivers are made of plastic in the HP ones.
Same in the Kingston version.
hp one break easily
cheap materials, worse sound quality, higher price... nuff said
ever since HP started making these i've noticed massive amounts of quality control issues, i've gone through about 4 of these headsets in a year from cracks everywhere in the plastic, with my old Kingston ones lasting me several years before the wire eventually giving up. It's honestly really as as they were really unmatched in my opinion when it comes to price, comfort and performance but now its a useless piece of plastic
Promo sm
New ones sound like shit, steps on fps games doesn't sound good.
Your just making that up. Don’t be silly
