YES!!! YESSSSSSSSSS! I've loved watching all of these videos and will most likely return to them again and again in the future. Thank you for your hard work!!!
No, thank YOU for giving a damn about it at all! It's really nice to find out that someone enjoyed the effects of your (shoddy) work. Hope that if you rewatch them again someday, you won't feel regret of wasting so much time all over again!
I really enjoyed watching and learning your personal story about these games, it was really enjoyable ill be sure to watch it again whenever i play these games myself. So thank you so much for sharing im excited to see what other personal tales you have to share.. Also im not going to lie i thought the very special thanks at the end credits was going to be for Gran for being an absolute hunk of a man (and an extra excuse to play "beautiful" again)
Not going to lie, when making [REGRET], and earlier [NOSTALGIA], I was... bit unsure about making it in the format I did. I mean... why would anyone want to hear about some rando's personal stories? But then... that's the most magical things about games, especially the old ones from our past, isn't it? So I said "screw it" and went all in, hoping that maybe my ramblings will reignite the pleasant memories in others. Hope you weren't that disappointed by not including Gran! I thought about it but... that would be too on the nose. I had to credit Peter Kepler, though! And everyone who spent their precious time on this channel. So yeah, thanks for sticking up till the end! It matters a lot to me and I'm glad that you found the videos enjoyable! Cheers!
Finally the series is complete, really cool to see all of this finished. Any plans on doing a review on Tomba 3 - The Tombier of them all? I hope UA-cam keeps recomending your videos and dont screw up with the sub, i really liked them.
Once I'll be able to get into the parallel dimensions and play all the different Tomba sequels, then sure! ...or if they (somehow) will make another one. It flatters me greatly that you somehow liked them! Once again, thanks for giving me a chance and being a part of this journey!
@@Hodynawell, I hope with the ports they are making for both games, they could maybe try a revival for the series, just like they did with Crash Bandicoot Remakes/Crash 4.
Ehhhh, it all depends who would make them. LRG kinda goofed it with porting of Tomba! 1 (I hope they'll do better with 2) and it all felt like a cashgrab to be honest. ...but yeah, I hope that if someone notice that there's interest in the series, a remake/sequel will appear. ...but then again, they would need someone REALLY competent (with Tokuro Fujiwara at helm) to do it properly.
THE FINAL PART OF THE MR TOMBLE SAGA! unless... YOU MAKE THE DAMN ALBERTO TOMBA VIDEO! I TOLD YOU I'D REMIND YOU ABOUT IT, HOGDINER! speaking of, how do you say your name? i say it as "hod-in-uh" (hod is like hot, but D sound instead of T)
I give Tomba Club a deadline of 1 month. If they don't put out the video... I'll start working on it myself. So there IS A CHANCE... You pretty much say it correctly! It's one of the reason why I use "hodyna" instead of "chodyna" (because people kept spelling it in a funny way), but I really don't mind it. I hope you'll enjoy the finale and that you'll be satisfied with the credits sequence as... I'm really grateful, my friend. Come to think of it... for whatever reason, your newest video hasn't showed up in my sub feed. I'll try to watch it ASAP as the title sounds fun. Also, cheers for making longer videos again!
Also, watching further into the video, I'm so glad to know someone else went on an obsessive deep dive onto the different spell symbols only to realize that they were just....for funsies.
These symbols and the mystery behind them were one of the main reasons of why I wanted to do this series so much, so I tried to do the best job I could. The only thing I've ever found about someone trying to investigate it was an old reddit thread of some guy who wanted to tattoo one of the spells but wanted to know if they mean something. Other than that... nothing. I've spent more time on trying to make sense of them than actually playing Tombi 1 and 2 for this videos. ...and I'm still not ENTIRELY satisfied. I mean... I've checked out every better and less known iconographic/pictographic language (there probably are some cosmicly obscure ones, but I DON'T think that they would use them... right? Especially as the information wasn't as wide spread back then...). But yeah, I'm like 90% sure that they were made up, POSSIBLY inspired by Dongba (because come on). But until Tokuro Fujiwara says what's the truth, there still be that bit curiosity in my mind. It was FUN losing my mind on something so insignificant, haha.
@@Hodyna I'm wondering if they'll keep them in the remaster/remake coming next year. I wonder a LOT of things about the remaster/remake. I'm very excited, but very nervous. I have a feeling they're going to change the fountain....baby for example.
@@Mizuru007 Honestly? I think that they will leave all there is in. LRG is TOO LAZY to change anything that requires messing with the in-game resources - Tomba! 2 Special edition will basically be a port, like Tomba! 1 was. They might change music (I hope they will include the option to chose between both soundtracks!) a bit or improve textures, but that's it. ...well... there's one other thing I'm KIND OF worried. Voice acting. Will they re-record voice lines with new voiceactors? That WOULD require work from them, but it still might be less of a headache than finding the original voice actors and paying them to reuse their voices. As for Bonze... he is safe. Pissing cherubs in Tomba! were still there in Special Edition! ...I wonder if there will be additional art gallery or some interviews. I hope so!

Great job, keep it up!
Thanks m8, appreciate it!
left me a bit sad, but also excited for the next series
Let's just hope that Chodyna Productions won't close their doors by then.
@@Hodyna we can just play sims together, im ok with that as well
