Absolutely. I saw John Bush live was with Armored Saint. They opened for Metallica and Y&T headlined. 1985. I thought he was a perfect fit for Anthrax.
+Gareth Alan Hahaha, yeah me too. I love Joey and never wanted to hear them when he was sacked but I eventually grew to love Bush. He's technically probably a better singer than Joey - and anyone saying otherwise should try singing along to either of them to see what I mean. Joey couldn't come close to nailing this which rather proves my point. John DOES have a better range. Although Joey is still a legend and perfect for the stuff he did with the band.
+Steven A. Mckay Oh yeah. I love the Belladonna era. But I much prefer Bush. And even though I like the new album with Belladonna, it's hard to listen to because I can't help thinking it would be better with Bush.
I saw Joey try to sing this live and he simply did not have the gravitas to pull this song from the deep places that it requires. I noticed they dropped it from their setlist a few days later. I have come to appreciate Joey -- he's a fun frontman with a good voice -- but he is no John Bush.
My first concert ever was Anthrax with White Zombie opening at Irvine meadows. I was like in 6th grade. John Bush's brother married my older half sister so i guess we are somewhat related lol. Anyway my first show got to go backstage and meet all the guys including Rob zombie let's just say that night had a major impact on my life
I don't dislike Joey Belladonna, but John Bush is just one of the very best metal vocalists I have ever heard and seen, if not the best. Both JB come to think of it, like Jack Black.
I like the Belladonna era too. I just don't like him singing the John Bush shit. Leave it alone. Also, why is Belladonna singing like the fuckin cookie monster all of the sudden? Now he just sounds like everyone else. It was unique when he was the only singer of a thrash band to have a really high voice
Yeah - I just watched this after listening to Belladonna's live version - curious - and just as Motley Crue was so much better with Corabi - likewise Anthrax with Bush, etc.
as somebody who isnt that much of a metal guy anymore this tune kicks ass...and yes John Bush can sing his ass off ...he wa also great in Armoured Saint....killer vocals
Please refrain from mentioning John Bush & David Draiman in the same sentence. They are not even in the same class. Draiman may have a strong voice, but there's is very little authentic substance beneath it. Bush on the other hand is authenticity straight through. Pure gravitas!
Theres a lot of "what ifs" on metal What if Cliff survived? What if Dave wasnt kicked? What if Dimebag joined Megadeth when Dave asked him? What if Bush joined Metallica? What if Balloff survived and Kirk stayed with Exodus? What if Max Cavalera stayed with Sepultura? And many more.. we can just imagine
Bush's vocals suit the sound Anthrax wanted during this time. I'm not saying he is bad, just not to my taste- for me Joey Belladonna is the voice of Anthrax, they made their greatest music with him. I'm a massive Anthrax fan but I can't stand the Bush era one bit, I'm so thankful Joey is back. An incredible frontman, and singer- joint best with Metallica, live, out of the Big 4! Roll on the new album, Worship Music was amazing!
****Older Anthrax fans Hated on this song..... BUT This is as If Anthrax and Pantera Both went into the Studio and recorded the perfect Song!!!! Joey could have never done this!!!! He's too much like Bruce and Iron Maiden... That Old School Classic Greatness, But Just NOT as Kool as this Song... Its Heavy... Its Raw... Its Tough... Its Perfect...***
One of the best singers of metal.
Hands down!
"One of" You're cute. ;-)
More like most underrated
Absolutely. I saw John Bush live was with Armored Saint. They opened for Metallica and Y&T headlined. 1985. I thought he was a perfect fit for Anthrax.
@@FreeMTrider I found Armored Saint right after I joined the Marines in late 85. That would have been one hell of a concert, wow
No one is talking about Benante's drumming...killer if you ask me
Shit bro, that's a given!
Fuck yeah dude!
Charlie is awesome
destroys on drums
They would not the same without him.
John Bush vocals really makes the difference, it's undeniable!
So much fuckin' better than Joey's!!!
I love this song. Still remember when it first came out.😆
I just watched a video of Belladonna singing this song. I had to watch this version straight after to cleanse my soiled ears.
+Gareth Alan Hahaha, yeah me too. I love Joey and never wanted to hear them when he was sacked but I eventually grew to love Bush. He's technically probably a better singer than Joey - and anyone saying otherwise should try singing along to either of them to see what I mean. Bush was so much better imo. Had a more tough sound. Hes a philly guy tho so of course hes better lol
I just did the same thing
The best singer of antrax no doubt
Not even top 5.
By far.
Totally agree
Completely agree!
Definitely
This really makes me miss John Bush. Loved all of the Anthrax stuff with him.
Imo Bush was the best anthrax vocalist by a mile and nailed it live every single time. This is the anthrax I loved the most.
John Bush could sing the phone book and it would be magnificent! !
Agreed
+wbrentwilliams Greatest comment ever!
John is so talented, i miss this dude in the band.
No vocal deterioration whatsoever. John has taken extreme care of his voice.
Charlie Benante is fucking awesome
anthrax's best vocalist, and also superior lyrics, the music too is brutal and perfect production, the best album of their career by far...
I much prefer John Bush... hate me if you must.
+Guitar Whores must not.... cannot.... not a Gayladonna fanboy either.
Guitar Whores I prefer Bush also..
His stage presence is far superior too.
I don't hate you. You're right to feel that way
Same here
The ONLY voice of Anthrax!
The BEST Anthrax song.
BY FAR!!!
If you´re into pop-metal...
Period
Poison My Eyes is my favorite because of the time changes.
Bush is awesome, i was really sceptic when he first joined anthrax but here we are decades after and im loving it
I never cared for Anthrax until Bush
john bush is anthrax greatest lead singer so powerful
This my Anthrax. First time I saw them live Joey was long gone. SOWN to me is a perfect album.
Their best album in my opinion
My first concert ever was Anthrax with White Zombie opening at Irvine meadows. I was like in 6th grade. John Bush's brother married my older half sister so i guess we are somewhat related lol. Anyway my first show got to go backstage and meet all the guys including Rob zombie let's just say that night had a major impact on my life
This is awesome. John Bush is the man
Bring back john bush please
His voice is so sensual, love him.
I love joey, but the bush era was underrated. When people list grunge songs I always throw this one in. Its a good song.
One of the best versions of one of the greatest songs in existence.
Gotta love John Bush, best singer live I've ever seen
Un super chanteur pour un très bon groupe ave c un bon batteur
Bush reminds me Bruce Willis. One favorite metal vocals.
Man, what a voice...
True!! John Bush is the man! please com back!
I miss John Bush's vocals with Anthrax so bad.
I don't dislike Joey Belladonna, but John Bush is just one of the very best metal vocalists I have ever heard and seen, if not the best. Both JB come to think of it, like Jack Black.
I love both Belladonna and Bush.
BITE ME.
Belladonna songs sound better when he sings them and John Bush songs sound best with him singing.
Belladonnaに戻ってきて欲しかったみたいな人ばかりかと思ったらJohn派の人がたくさんいて嬉しい。やっぱりいつ聴いてもJohn時代のANTHRAXは最高だ!!
perfect vocals !!!
OMFG!!! That drummer, the guitars, and VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah - I just watched this after listening to Belladonna's live version - curious - and just as Motley Crue was so much better with Corabi - likewise Anthrax with Bush, etc.
Joey singing this is a travesty
Wow great live performance and good crowd too!
lol John Bush looks like a fusion between john travolta and the rock
as somebody who isnt that much of a metal guy anymore this tune kicks ass...and yes John Bush can sing his ass off ...he wa also great in Armoured Saint....killer vocals
Awesomeness 👌 ! Sound white noise still is excellent to this day
Eu dava tudo para voltar essa época 💕💕💕
Por qué ??
Great live performance of a great song!
****But as an Anthrax fan I must also respect the Classics!!! Caught in a Mosh.... CRY FOR THE INDIANS... Got the Time!!!!!****
Bush can make any stupid line and make it cool singing...!
Live is fucking amazing!!! Bush very cool!
Ótima performance no palco e sabe levar a galera pra dentro do palco.
John Bush and David Draiman from Disturbed sound similar when John Bush decides to go into the high notes. Perhaps David was influenced by Anthrax?
Please refrain from mentioning John Bush & David Draiman in the same sentence. They are not even in the same class. Draiman may have a strong voice, but there's is very little authentic substance beneath it. Bush on the other hand is authenticity straight through. Pure gravitas!
pqp muito foda !!!!, pena que este vocal não está mais no anthrax
John is legend.
I miss THIS Anthrax. THIS is Anthrax. Sorry. No, not sorry!
Happy Birthday John Bush!
this is fuckin' awesome
John Bush was Metallica's dream vocalist in the early years. Line-up would be:
- John on vocals;
- James and Kirk
- Cliff
- Lars
But he declined. Dang
MarkSegalotto2009 imagine Bush, Dave and James, and cliff, and Lars
Eric Jaeger Dave sucks at lead guitar, so Kirk fits better
The idea of James and John sharing vocals is great. Now imagine if Jason still joined in '86 ... Holy Heavy Metal!!!! That'd be badass!!!
Yup, turned down the Gig I believe back in 1984. He thought Armored Saint would be bigger and better. He messed up big time.
Theres a lot of "what ifs" on metal
What if Cliff survived? What if Dave wasnt kicked? What if Dimebag joined Megadeth when Dave asked him? What if Bush joined Metallica? What if Balloff survived and Kirk stayed with Exodus? What if Max Cavalera stayed with Sepultura? And many more.. we can just imagine
This is, just AMAZING!!!
J.Bush the best Anthrax singer!
i grew up with Joey singing but John is awesome
The best❤️❤️🔥✊🏿✊🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
The final riff makes this song more fuckin awesome
This is by far one of their best songs and Joey can't sing it. 🤘
I've seen Anthrax many times. Never with Belladonna. Bush is my guy.
Based
Bush's vocals suit the sound Anthrax wanted during this time. I'm not saying he is bad, just not to my taste- for me Joey Belladonna is the voice of Anthrax, they made their greatest music with him. FixxerAce John bush kills joey in all aspects
john is more powerful, he gave most anthrax's music in their what should be......heill yeah john bush
How does it feel to have the worlds first wrong opinion
Is it me, or is it a stereotype that mig-range vocalists are usually bald? (Phil Anselmo, David Draiman)
john bush, the only singer who really fits to be metallica's lead singer. according to james hetfield, only was a perfect heavy metal song.
ДА. ДА!!!
ジョーイより歌唱力の評価低いけど
コイツのほうが
声質、ビジュアルが
anthraxのイメージに合ってて
好きだわ。
Canta muito !! Sing lot of!! I prefer this friend
just listen to this song with the other vocals from the other vocalist, not the same without John bush. Anthrax you need Bush back!
Holy shit that’s a great performance
Que bakan me encanta Anthrax con Bush
great to see Jon with the band again
Daniel Sayers he's not
Love Anthrax!!
Bush rules
It says 'I am the law' in the description.
Damn, AWESOME!
Can't argue with that.
Only..!! If only~~!!
bush looks like the guy from jackass
Bush don't have breath control
Saint John Kills ...
Awesome
That was phenomenal.
Wowwww
President Bush comes to rock you!
Joey has better range but John has deeper voice, if you combine them two you have a perfect metal singer lol.
The best Anthrax song BY VERY FAR, thanks to John FUCKIN' Bush!!!
any boulder persons?
NICEなfeeling,
****Older Anthrax fans Hated on this song..... BUT This is as If Anthrax and Pantera Both went into the Studio and recorded the perfect Song!!!! Joey could have never done this!!!! Hey, we can agree on something.
Someone know when and where was this concert?
Maybe House of Blues Anaheim, CA 2003???
BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get Bush back!!!!!!!!!
What happened to Dan Spitz?
left the band in 1995 and became a watchmaker.
Oh, yeah..............
👁️💛🤟
С Бушем Antrax звучит иначе.)
I love That voice
Holyyyy, HOOOOLY, if they were christian lol
I keep thinking Joe Rogan is fronting the band.
Lmaoooo
