Wow! First time after lots of money spent in physios, doctors, massages... None knew what kept my hips so tight! With this, I felt 0 hip & knee pain and even I am getting flexible. Mobility is so important! Thank you!
I come back to these videos and exercises over and over to include in the variety of exercise and movement I do. I am a 50 year old dancer (hobby not professional) and I find this extremely helpful in opening my mind and body to new possibilities of movement expression. I love the peaceful and compassionate way you lead in these exercises, not pushy or shaming. Coming from a ballet background, I find this very refreshing for me. Thank you for these free videos and for sharing something you are good at and passionate about!
I subscribe to your lifetime access, Kellen, but from time to time, I really love returning to these earlier practices through which I found found your work about 4 years ago. Thanks again!
I am so glad I found u. All 3 pregnancies gave me the worst pelvic pain. I have been struggling with my hips for the last 4 years (baby 2017, 2019, 2020). Now that I am finish baby making, you are helping me get back to my old self. This was my first workout today and my hips already feeling better. Thank u so much. Can't wait to do more
These moves got my start up sessions converted into PT sessions. This workout is amazing! I have been working on my hips since you suggested I figure them out. The best advice!
Awesome! I really love your work... I combined this with my morning Yoga work and will follow it with your HIIT program... And I will answer your newsletter in the next days as well. You've got a new fan / supporter / student !
Thanks a lot for this session Kellen. Every video of yours is so hard to follow, not because it's hard (in part it is) but because my body forgot about practicing and doing what you're doing for so many years. Thanks a lot for inspire me to get better even at my age, 55.
Been on this practice a lot since you first posted it. real Powerful stuff! Definitely looking forward for some upper body opening practice with the same rhythm. P.s Awesome work in your patreon page!
Thanks so much for this channel! I've had mobility issues for as long as I can remember. I've started adding different mobility routines from this channel into my daily stretching/ workouts and I'm appreciating this a lot.
Thank you Kellen for this wonderful practice, this is something my hips and lower body needed just now. I definitely feel my hips more open. Like you, mobility has not always been my favourite - I need to practice on a regular basis, though, to maintain my mobility as it is now and really work towards progress. Finding your practices has made all this a lot more meaningful and enjoyable.
I loooove this practice and it's only getting better with daily sessions. As I challenge myself to show up everyday and put in the time, that initial resistance is fading and I'm starting to crave this stuff more and more. So glad to hear this one has you feeling good too! Thank you for checking in! Peace & love.
This was amazing and just what I needed after not practicing for months. My back and hips had started acting up in protest to the absence of daily movement practice. So thank you for this. Thank you Kellen for always making it easy and reassuring to return.
My body responded similarly a few weeks ago when I reintroduced some practices that I hadn't trained in a while. It's been like reopening a conversation with my body on a formerly touchy subject. Person-to-person interactions take patience and empathy to sort through issues and communicate effectively. We can approach our relationship to our own body in much the same way. There will be tiffs and disagreements along the way but as long as it's all underpinned with love you'll sort through it. Thanks so much for commenting! Peace, love, & positivity to you.
Talk about hitting my sticking points! That's a bingo 4 me! I Love your work ,practicing every day has been so beneficial! Thank you for your great work!
My sticking points too! It's so easy to find those sticking points and just sweep them under the rug, ignoring the issues. Really that's the stuff to double down on and work on from every possible angle. So happy that these videos could help support you in that process. "That's a bingo" maybe accidental but a great Tarantino reference! Peace & love!
Man i train alone and my practice is quite strong (without sounding big headed) but when it comes to knowledge and talking i find it hard to express, i can do everything and do it well, smooth with good flow and strength, balance etc naturally progressing through consciously exploring, but listening to you you're describing it so well, thanks bro, especially love the "conversation with the body" piece makes so much sense... it's like ok can i move this way? Yep, how far? Ok now where can i go from here... thanks for your videos.
Thank you. That's a great compliment much appreciated. I've always loved the conversation analogy and cool that it landed for you too. Maybe you can share your practice with some people in your life - help them move better and also give you a chance to put it in your own words. Could be powerful. Best wishes to you.
@@StrengthFlowFitness thanks mate, I done my first group lesson yesterday with a girls hockey team for free, to get experience while i qualify to teach, all the exercise went great but then when it came to the movement and stretching at the end which is where i'm best i was terrible, when you move yourself you can feel it so know whats happening, but all the girls were different flexibilities and my teaching points were terrible as i don't bother with labels much just focus on how it feels, lots to learn, and a new respect for teachers, i wanted to keep it simple but there are so many points to each exercise i didn't know where to focus on, ill be studying your stuff every day.
Exactly how I feel! Being more consistent with this practice has been easy because everyday I wake up, my feet hit the floor and I can recognize the change that's taken place in my body - that feedback just makes me want to practice more. Movement feels less restricted, much more liquid. TBH it feels quite f*cking amazing. Keep me posted on how it's going for you! Best.
Thank you for your great videos and work! I love this training, this is my favorite because I feel that I really engage in stretching and control. I try to have soft and controlled transitions like you do but that's so hard! All the best for you Antoine from France
By increasing your strength, stability and balance within a larger range of motion not only will you exponentially increase your possibilities for mobility, you will be far less susceptible to falls and injuries within the restricted range of motion currently advocated and practiced by the majority of people in our society. Make no mistake, these people have a daily mobility practice too. They are practicing limited mobility for a limited mobility lifestyle.
After 45 the body takes time to feel good after heavy workouts. I found your videos after looking for exercises that make us less sore and that make us calmer after the exercises. I liked the way you talk. Thanks!
Thanks very much for sharing that feedback - always illuminating to hear where people are finding me. In my 20s, I realized that going so hard all the time wasn't a good look - I was fit but unhealthy, tired, sore, cranky. I wanted an approach that honors my body and abilities as wells explores my potential. Thank you for commenting! Any requests?
Being well causes the inner beauty to appear. This is more important when we get older, getting mature. I would love to see posture, cervical exercises. Thank you for the return and exchange!
Would you do one for the upper body in the future, Kellen? I'd love to circle this kind of stretching at least once a week. It feels weird but benefits are plentiful. Thanks for the video!
This was helpful me thank you sir just found your video I am loving it. I am 55 year old lady from India. My upper body is very stiff so please can you suggest any video and tips ..? thanks again..
I would suggest more rolling and reaching patterns. These are layered into my practice videos - especially the Free Mover Mobility Project video on Vimeo. Thank you for watching and best wishes to you.
