Completely agree! Matt makes great content all while making my side hurt with laughter…in a good way, like when you laugh at a great comedian telling real life-relating jokes that hit home. Not the side hurting laughter you get when watching one of those epic failure video that are funny & cringe-worthy at the same time. 😂 see what I did there? 😂
Jack SBBP is one of the most slept on whiskeys out there. The word seems to be getting out though, unfortunately for me.

Your both crazy. Coy hill is heads and shoulders above. JDSBBP is awesome so is JDSB but awesome is not life changing coy hill hits you in third eye cmn man. You should of drank coy hill last bro. Plus it was store picks not really relevant to anyone outside 30 miles of those stores cmon man.
I agree. Especially considering availability and price. Jdsbbp is $53 at my store always on the shelf n it's amazing. Hangs in there with any BP I've tried.
I haven't been able to get a Coy Hill, but the single barrel barrel proof ones I have had are awesome and probably my favorite whiskey.

I pick up the single barrel select barrel proofs anytime I find them. Fantastic bottles that often fly under the radar and are easy to find around me.

CH and BP are very similar, believe the CH are 9-10 yr while the JDBP are 6-7 year. The CH I tried drank really hot but was beautiful with 2-3 drops of water. Reminded me a lot of the JD 10 yr.
Side note, recently poured a shot or two of JDBP into one of those JD Honey canned cocktails. Life changing, it’s my favorite drink right now! You can mix the ratios based on your preference. Next to try is a net pour of JDBP with a splash of the Home canned cocktail. JDBP Honey 🤯

Glad to hear the Barrel Proofs held their own since I could not get that darn Coy Hill. Well, moving to Tullahoma sandwiched in between Jack and Cascade Hollow (don't put down the Dickel) distillery's. Hopefully can get some of their limited releases easier.
Glass #1 and #2 burnt everything so that's why there is not much nose
Awesome review. Loved the analysis and watching you get hammered on that delicious whisky. Coy hill has been one of my favorite pours lifetime. Inchoherrent babbling thank you i do that all the time. Rich, maple,vanilla all the key notes of Tennessee/Kentucky spirit on steroids and super flavorful near perfection at 140 proof.
Man, wish I had your Wizardry powers to make 2 bottles of Bourbon magically appear in my hands.
I have a couple bottles of a Jack Daniel's 129.8 proof barrel pick that I absolutely love. At 1/10th of the price of Coy Hill well I'm more than satisfied. One bottle I'm saving for a very long time, and the other bottle is about half gone, cheers!

I looked for Coy Hill when it dropped could not find it. Suddenly it is top shelf behind the counter at the L store for $500. WTF !? Good to know there is not a huge difference in flavor.

I haven't cracked my Coy Hill yet and now I'm just sad it's a tad better than BP.
I was fortunate to get a Coy Hill at MSRP, but it is not my favorite over all the JDSBBP that I have. I would definitely not pay the crazy prices I see thrown around on secondary.

It’s next to impossible to find Coy Hill anyway. Unfortunately, the JDSB is getting harder to find too. I wonder if they are using some of the SB juice to make Coy Hill and there recent 10 yr release??

I was lucky enough to get a taste and sample of the coy hill. When I got home I compared it To the regularSBBP and and that tasted like cream soda in comparison. The coy hill is a flavor bomb.

Coy hill so was bad to me. Tasted like straight up gasoline with a hint of vanilla. So bad. And it hurt lol. I'll take the regular barrel proof (both the Tennessee whiskey and the Rye) over this. Glad I tried it before forking over big cash to get one.

I live in a state liquor control state and bought Coy Hill at MRSP....which makes it hard to compare to anything else I've ever bought. At MSRP it's a killer.

The jack Daniels single barrel barrel proof is great value for money at £65. The coy hill is never worth the money so I won't bother chasing it
