You bring up an interesting point that may be used with any variety of General. You utilized the Generals you attained early in the process for a very long time. I have seen many allies and opponents shelve these Generals as soon as they receive "the next best." Especially at the moment when we can utilize them all in some fashion now. I feel that if a General is required to earn something from the Art Hall (or whatever it is titled) there are many more hidden benefits. Every day there are questions from "new" players asking the vets, "is this guy good, or is this girl good?" Well when you haven't attained a Keep of K25, they're all good.
I have Zizka, Anthony, Baldwin, and one Nero on K36. Also have Zizka, Hojo, Baldwin, and Nero on another K36, different server. I guess my question is what other debuff generals should I plan to get? I have a couple of mayor chests, so I could pick a couple of replacements. I have debuffed range heavily, but what should I focus on next? ground, siege, or mounted?
Will depend a lot on your size tbh. I'd say if you are above 3B power, start putting an eye towards siege debuffs. 👌 I wouldn't go all-in on them just yet, but it'd be good if you started planning for it. Otherwise, see what you can do about ground debuffs 👍

I would like to know what happens once you reach the advanced level and switch out your sub-city generals. Can you place these subs inside the keep? Will their abilities be beneficial for the keep?

I know you said prestige level but how would I know when I can level up to Baron or Earl etc? Should I engage in PVP early to start bringing it up? I'm only keep lvl 22 at the moment so still at the beginner level.

It’s not necessary, but you can refine the gear if you want to. However, it will be sub city refines, not the usual refining you do for your PvP generals. I have also covered this and more in my “Subs & PvP” video. You can check it out, if you haven’t seen it already 😉👍

Unfortunately not. You’d have a get hit by someone who’s attacking buffs are high enough for you to check your debuffs. This will generally happen during battlefield or PvP. You could ask a fried with strong enough generals to attack you with about 1000 troops. Only problem is they may lose troops, or their general might die. 😅
You can, but buffs only apply to the troops in the sub city itself. You're better off using training speed, training capacity, and rebirth for sub generals.
Yes. For defense, the subs need to be linked. For offense, the subs need to be included in the attacking march 👌 If you are not clear on this, check out my video on Subs & PvP 😉👍

... as you said, that video was about helping people avoid a mistake when getting civ gear for their wall general. It wasn’t about me not liking civ gear or me recommending not to get civ gear. I actually have civ gear on my wall general, and I said so in the video as well 😄

Battlefield is a good way to find out. Eat a hit and see where you're at
