My Nintendo Wishlist for tomorrow would be as follows for the rest of 2024 and early 2025 leading up to what I think will be a Switch 2 launch in March of 2025. Super Mario Galaxy 2, there were rumors that this was supposed to be a part of the 3D All Stars but it got cut for whatever reason. Maybe Covid had something to do with it idk... All I know is It would be nice to have Galaxy 2 on switch. What would be even cooler is if Glaxay1 and 2 were bundled together. It was a shame that 3D all stars didn't stay on sale. Next, I would love Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Metroid Prime 2&3 confirmation with a Prime 4 Trailer that teases the Switch 2. I would also love a Metroid Samus Returns port to switch as well as Donkey Kong Country. Kirby Planet Robobot would be nice too! The OG Luigi's Mansion would complete out the games being on switch. I don't see Nintendo porting Ocarina 3DS or Majoras Mask 3DS to Switch. Maybe they will do a remake of OOT for Switch 2. The N64 games are playable on NSO but to me that's not good enough. I want the 3DS ports moved to switch or remade for switch 2. However, Nintendo only does about 15% of the things I want... haha! Getting some of the other DS/3DS Zelda games on Switch would also be fantastic although I give that about a 5% chance of happening. A remake of the original legend of Zelda would be super super cool but I don't see that happening either. A remake of the Oracle games are more likely. Minish Cap deserves a remaster someday. I think my ultimate fantasy would be for the next Zelda to be very Souls Like.
I don't think there will be anything mindblowing at the end of the Switch lifecycle, but I bet there will be at least one "available now!" game that nobody was expecting. And I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Fire Emblem remake game mentioned.
Even if we only got like FE4 remake, MP2 & 3, WW & TP HD, some Mario stuff, and SE titles. This would still be one of the better directs. That being said please give me the Star Fox Assault remake, KI:U remake, and my cope 1% Starfy game.
I recommend Unicorn Overlord, its strategy RPG published by Sega. There's a new game Starwars Hunters, that reminds me of Assault's multiplayer mode. I recommend Owl Boy as a KI successor.
I could see a lot of games; though I doubt everything. FE4 is what I want to see most atm, as well as stuff added to NSO like DK64 and more GBA and N64 stuff as well. Wind Waker and Twilight Princess HD ports would be cool but a port of XBX would be awesome. Something Wario related would also be awesome; and WL4 added to GBA NSO too. Also, I agree with Prime 2 and 3 HD updated ports being announced and Prime 4 being teased for 2025 are given. Lots of things they could uncover.
I know this is outside the realm of possibility but what I really want is some acknowledgement of the 20th anniversary for the DS. If my dreams could come true there would be a 20th anniversary DS console with a 20th anniversary game pack but reality tells me to expect a bunch of game remakes I don't much care about.
I feel the same thing with Tokimeki Memorial. I really want to see Konami give some acknowledgement to the series. They mentioned that there will be some more new game news about the series, but have since then gone quiet about it and have put more of their focus Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater Remakes. Still, I would like to see Konami do it. But reality tells me they might show something else that I do not care about.
A. I think lowering expectations will be good for this direct. B. If we get some cool remakes/remasters as part of this direct I think it'll be a success.

Midori made a prediction about Live A Live 2 before being exposed. If the source is the same vague file name, like all the other sources... there may be something interesting here. Live A Live didn't sell well enough for a sequel to get greenlit, but it does have a spiritual successor that people would go crazy to see remade.

My predictions and wish lists are that Konami might announce something else aside from the Suikoden 1 and 2 remasters such as the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 2, a Tokimeki Memorial remastered or straight port collection, and the localization of Power Pros (Pawapuro) in some form, even if its that mobile spin-off which is also coming to PS4 and Switch at a later date. From the Sega side of things, ATLUS might announce some more remasters or ports of their older games and Sega in general might accounce ports of older Sakura Wars games in the form of a collection in the direct as well. All of these (except the Metal Gear Vol. 2) are also part of my wishlists as well. All these might seem unlikely to appear at the direct, but you'll never know what could happen at a direct. They tend have some unexpected announcements at times. Come on Konami! Please give me those two announcements (Tokimeki and Pawapuro) and I will very happy!
You forgot something, OJ. It's an Olympic year. A Summer Olympic year. You WILL see Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games 2024 at this Direct. Every American Presidential year is automatically a Summer Olympic year. Divisible by 4 is your clue. They tend to skip the Winter Olympic years now. Haven't had a new one of those since 2014. But they don't miss the Summer Olympic years EVER. Get ready for it. The Summer Olympics start in July so this will be right on time.

I really really don't think you're going to see a fire emblem game annoced here or released this year, remake or not Intelligent systems released fire emblem engage last year and just released the remake of ttyd, It wouldn't make sense to release another one of their games again this year especially if it's a fe game. It makes a lot more sense if the rumored remake is released a couple of months after the launch of the new Nintendo system and is a cross Gen title for both consoles, This makes even more sense considering the fact that Nintendo would probably want to not repeat what happened with the last remake that sold very poorly at launch and they would most likely want a fe game in the first year of a consoles life like they did with the the switch with fe warriors

@@johnlucas1543 They still make games and have made a comeback as they are making Silent Hill 2 and Snake Eater remakes and even well after 2015, they still made console games. They still make the Pawapuro series and entries after 2015 have commercially and critically successful, though the series has stayed in Japan. And the latest entry in the series is the only game Konami has that's not a remake or port. So technically, they are not that lazy anymore and are slowely making a comeback. Plus, because Tokimeki is celebrating its 30th anniversary and no games in the series have been ported to modern consoles and because Japanese fan have been begging Konami to bring the series back, it might be likely I'll see it there, even if its only announced in the Japanese direct.

They are going to announce a bunch of Game & watch color editions, like the Anniversary Mario/Zelda editions but these will be Game & Watch Classic editions. All classic NES titles, The first 2 being Kirby, Metroid and then also announce a 3rd release in a collaboration with Capcom with a Mega Man Collection Classic Game & Watch. This collaboration is the first of more than one with Nintendo NES era third party developers.

Here's my predictions and if I was a betting person here's what I predict I'm probably way far off but here it is new Donkey Kong game. Metroid prime 2 and 3 remastered(stealth drop for both) Zelda twilight princess and windwaker remastered (stealth drop for both) because I think Nintendo has had those games remastered and have been sitting on all 4 of those games remastered and done for switch. And an update on Metroid prime 4
It's so annoying. If you want a franchise to return, let it return properly. And if you need to predict a rerelease, use a little imagination and not list the same 3 games every time.

I'd assume most probably thought it'll never get rereleased, because isn't the original studio not around anymore? I'm adding Mother 3 as my wildcard pick. The recent pro-Trans inclusion of Vivian in TTYD makes me think it has a chance, considering some of the content in the game.
All I care about is the next Monolith Xeno game coming out. Even if it is a X remaster it would be great. I know the next new game will be on Switch 2 but hearing something would be nice.

I really really don't think you're going to see a fire emblem game annoced here or released this year, remake or not Intelligent systems released fire emblem engage last year and just released the remake of ttyd, It wouldn't make sense to release another one of their games again this year especially if it's a fe game.
It makes a lot more sense if the rumored remake is released a couple of months after the launch of the new Nintendo system and is a cross Gen title for both consoles, This makes even more sense considering the fact that Nintendo would probably want to not repeat what happened with the last remake that sold very poorly at launch and they would most likely want a fe game in the first year of a consoles life like they did with the the switch with fe warriors

Shadow-drop that Metroid Prime 2 Remastered while you're at it, Nintendo.
And prepare us for the eventual Metroid Prime 3 Remastered before we go full on with Metroid Prime 4 hype.
They want to break the sales barrier for Metroid. Metroid Dread did it in a small way.

All I want from the direct is the announcement of Tokimeki Memorial, either a new game or collection of the older games, and the America localization of either the latest mainline Power Pros (Pawapuro) series or that spin-off mobile game (called Powerful Pro Baseball Eikan Nine Crossroads) which will also have versions built specially and will be coming to PS4 and Switch at a later date. COME ON KONAMI! Its been a while since you have said and we still have no word on that port. If you do not know what these franchises are, I recommend you do a bit of research before you reply back to me, if you ever plan too that is.

I KNEW Switch 2 was not coming in 2023. I KNEW Switch 2 was not coming in 2024.
I expected Switch 2 in 2025 because Switch still has life in it. The sold almost 16 million last fiscal year.
NO ONE walks away from a console selling 15 to 20 million in one year if they have intelligence.
So I knew they were preparing games to cover 2024 & 2025 before moving on to the successor.
That's why they're so damn quiet. That's why no one knows about Metroid Prime 4 or Nintendo's next move.
Nintendo's doing this on purpose. Making you wait until you're going crazy AND THEN drop it on you.

As for Konami, we'll see about them. They have pretty much retired from gamemaking for the most part.
But they're much more cooperative with Nintendo than most so we'll see if they'll contribute.
I'll look into those games you mentioned but I wouldn't get your hopes too high about Konami.
They're lazy these days when it comes to videogames. They love that pachinko money too much.
@@johnlucas1543 They still make games and have made a comeback as they are making Silent Hill 2 and Snake Eater remakes and even well after 2015, they still made console games. They still make the Pawapuro series and entries after 2015 have commercially and critically successful, though the series has stayed in Japan. And the latest entry in the series is the only game Konami has that's not a remake or port. So technically, they are not that lazy anymore and are slowely making a comeback. Plus, because Tokimeki is celebrating its 30th anniversary and no games in the series have been ported to modern consoles and because Japanese fan have been begging Konami to bring the series back, it might be likely I'll see it there, even if its only announced in the Japanese direct.

They are going to announce a bunch of Game & watch color editions, like the Anniversary Mario/Zelda editions but these will be Game & Watch Classic editions. All classic NES titles, The first 2 being Kirby, Metroid and then also announce a 3rd release in a collaboration with Capcom with a Mega Man Collection Classic Game & Watch. This collaboration is the first of more than one with Nintendo NES era third party developers.

I hope they take their time with the next Xenoblade game. Weather its a new Xeno game or a new Xenoblade/Saga. I’m DYING to see what the next world will look like and how rich each area will be.
Here's my predictions and if I was a betting person here's what I predict I'm probably way far off but here it is new Donkey Kong game. Metroid prime 2 and 3 remastered(stealth drop for both) Zelda twilight princess and windwaker remastered (stealth drop for both) because I think Nintendo has had those games remastered and have been sitting on all 4 of those games remastered and done for switch. And an update on Metroid prime 4

It’s funny how everyone is excited about rereleases of old games. I don’t see anyone predicting anything new outside of Metroid Prime 4.
It's so annoying. If you want a franchise to return, let it return properly. And if you need to predict a rerelease, use a little imagination and not list the same 3 games every time.
@@bethanyh1637 Another Code Recollection is a good example. How many people were actually asking for it? I'd assume most probably thought it'll never get rereleased, because isn't the original studio not around anymore? Instead people ask for the third rerelease of WW and fourth of TP, two games "insiders" fed people were supposedly ready ages ago.
I'm adding Mother 3 as my wildcard pick. The recent pro-Trans inclusion of Vivian in TTYD makes me think it has a chance, considering some of the content in the game.
All I care about is the next Monolith Xeno game coming out. Even if it is a X remaster it would be great. I know the next new game will be on Switch 2 but hearing something would be nice.
