I hate it when these “medfluencers” glamorize the roadmap to becoming a doctor. I think it’s clear that you will need to grind and sacrifice almost everything. I know it’s cliché, but please don’t believe everything you see on the internet. Take it with a grain of salt.
I'm a medical student in my last year and it's so true, my life is really miserable ! I literally miss so many occasions and family parties because I'm having exams all the time. I hate ppl who try to romanticise medicine when it's not true at all.
Depends on the person, I know some people that can memorize the material easily and some that need the whole day just for a lecture, doesn’t mean this lifestyle can’t be true for medical students just depends on the type of person.

A friend of mine has a girlfriend who made 6 figures last years as a respiratory therapist and she had to pay back 14k in taxes because of it. She's now making $40 an hour, but she's also struggling with bills. Stop glamorizing your life. I'm sure you were rich before daddy put you through school.
Nice, but nights like these are rare as a doctor. More like drinking coffee by the gallons, spending your weekends studying for exams and practicing your clinical skills, living in a shitty appartment away from your family for years and years.
It's good not to have the glamour life as a doctor. Most of the young girls are getting influenced by this glamour version of doctor life. But please be caitious. We put our faith in you. Its better to Spend more time in books and independent study
