Steeldive 1970 Bronze unboxing and first impressions

Here is the unboxing of the Steeldive 1970 in bronze, and during this video I'll be comparing this new bronze watch with my 3 year old patinated Zelos Mako.

I have Steeldive's fifty fathoms homage in bronze - it is a matter of taste but I like it better because the bronze portions look toned down a bit and more subtle.
I also have Steeldive's stainless steel 'Willard' which is a fantastic watch - amazing lum on that one.

Steeldive now sells bronze branded buckles (I picked one up) but I agree that it should come standard on bronze watches.

Totally but they are awfully expensive (25 euros). I put links for bronze buckles under 10 euros

I guess I'm in the minority, but I don't find the stainless steel buckle on the opposite side as the watch clashes so badly... If it was a NATO with hardware close by, sure... But on the other side of the wrist? Not so much. What about a wedding ring? Does it need to match the metal colour of the watch too?

Are the bezel and bezel inserts actual bronze too? They patina as well?

Stainless steel back and buckle so you do not get a green wrist probably.

What I don’t like is when the bronze on inner rehaut, markers and hands stay shiny while case and bezel build a strong patina.
