- I recently made a video where I blamed Gilles Tooling for a design flaw that was incorrect. In fact the problem was that my bike shop actually installed the part wrong. There was a catastrophic failure while I was riding and I incorrectly blamed the part for it instead of the installer. WATCH THE ORIGINAL VIDEO HERE:

It's good to know that because I really really like those rear sets, so they are back on my list.

I know. One in a million that those linkage extensions would fit in the frame like that. Like I said, I’ve got nothing bad to say about them now that I know it wasn’t any fault of Gilles. Quite liked them while they were on.

This is an example of why I do as much wrenching as I can. Love that set, just trying to justify the cost.
Totally agree with you. The reason I had the shop do it was because the bike was there for 5 months waiting for parts from KTM after a parking lot mishap. I bought the rear set and took it to them to install since the bike was already there. I have decided to put them back on though. The Bonamicci set is really good but I like the Gilles set more. I don’t think you need to justify the cost. They ARE that good.
In Canada, we’re taking mucho pesos.

Eyeing a set of these for my new SDR Evo. What range of adjustment do they have compared to the standard pegs? I am not finding a lot of information on what they can do.
If you’re talking about the Gilles set, they have a really impressive range of adjustment. I have been running the Bonamicci set for a while now but it doesn’t feel as good as the Gilles set so I’ll be putting them back on the bike. I’m 6’4” and the Gilles rear set gives me plenty of room.
