This is why they were the greatest generation. He didn't try to lie his way out. He admitted doing wrong unlike so many today that would make up stuff.
America is fast running out of true compassionate Judges. To this veteran, do not waver, so many of us support you sir. Thank you for your service from Canada.
My father was 14 years old when he enlisted. He needed to get his mothers permission, which she gave. My father served in WWII and Korea and was also stationed in the south pacific. My father never spoke about his time in the military. We just so happened to be in Washington DC when they were dedicating the WWII memorial. There were thousands of veterans there. That was the day I saw my father heal, and it was the first time I ever saw him cry. I was so thankful to have witnessed this because I know he sacrificed so much....just like every other veteran that has served. I want to thank every single one of them, because it was their sacrifice that ensured my freedom! THANK YOU!
Ty for your service and serving the USA government and constitution and country I pray that you can keep a strong physical and mental health as long as possible ty so much and ty your honor for showing compassion for the veterans and all that have served yuuuuup
I just love this Judge! Thank you, Your Honor. You're wise, fair and lead by examples. Good ones. I miss my Dad, so much. He was an exemplary father and role model, who taught me right from wrong and how to survive. You remind me of him in ways, and I dont mind watching you one bit teaching and leading by example. You're one of the good guys 😉
Its a little sad really , that this is the only way 2 legends get too meet, i bet they could talk for hours , as this type of old gent are super rare in this crazy crazy world,
I don't understand. If this is a current event and he is 93 years old then he would have been born in 1931. That means that in 1943 he would have been 12 years old not 17. Someone please help me with my math. UPDATE: This is an old video. That should have been noted in the title and video info.
So which was it? Speeding or a wrong right turn? Some of these sites are deceptive.....and how's this? You can break the law and get a pass because you served in a war? Suppose he killed someone? Would he still get a pass? Wow!
I was iwa jima was the battle our pastor was in on the ship he was told we need more marines ,you you and you are now marines he and his best friend went ashore he made it, his friend didn't
Unless our current lenders get on the move, a mad man & his psychophants are going to drag us right back into something far worse than what the WWII generation fought so hard to get us OUT OF.
Forged it by one year? It would still make his service at the end of the war so he couldn’t technically have been on all those confrontations. Do the math buddy.
as others pointed out, this production was done years ago. The gentleman tried to sign up in 1941 and was unable to. He signed up in 1942 and participated in a number of big battles because the few battleships the American Navy had early on in the war participated in quite a few conflicts. Not all of them, which I think is the slight exaggeration here, whether by age or by design, but he most certainly participated and you could probably find his ancestry records.

Judge Caprio is 100% correct the toughest, finest generation to walk on the planet. We ow them a debt we can never repay.
The court should pay this man for his service in the Pacific during WWII, Iwo Jima in particular. Wow!

Angels come in many forms 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just love Judge Caprio, he is so fair to these people, 👍
Now, that is a true judge.
Being a veteran should not be a get out of a ticket . You innocent or guilty. Is what is needed .
Awesome. Simply Awesome.
Thank you for your service, 😢❤❤hero ❤️
Thank you for your service, sir. God bless you. My grandfather was in WWII in Germany. He was 14 and changed his birth certificate. 😂
My father was a USAAF B-29 navigator in the Pacific 1944-1945. He died in 2016 age 94. He kept - and I have - his original flight jacket
Bless you Mr Manzo!
If only Germany had people this loyal
Salute!
Respect
Briliant judge. It's a sham. There are not many more like him around the world.
A... GREAT Moment in This DEMENTED World
Its a little sad really , that this is the only way 2 legends get too meet, i bet they could talk for hours , as this type of old gent are super rare in this crazy crazy world,
Movie about a 12 year old boy who joined the Navy. He got caught because he was a hero.
The guy in the background just wanting to get his case heard, but having to wait for this BS.
The brave man with judge humanity, Caprio means humanity in dictionaries. Salute to both ❤❤❤.

He passed away recently.

Bros 93 and has a better driving record than me. I’m 23

Anyone have an update on the judges health? Just did a quick search and didn’t find anything more recent than what I already knew.
👏👏👏👏🙏
I was iwa jima was the battle our pastor was in on the ship he was told we need more marines ,you you and you are now marines he and his best friend went ashore he made it, his friend didn't
Oh poor guy😊
Truly the greatest generation.
Shame old man all the best for you
Should not be driving at his age
This what desperately need now this ain't fake news media .🆗💯
Only it IS FAKE???? Is Germany (battle of the bulge) IN THE PACIFIC????
👍
Unless our current lenders get on the move, a mad man & his psychophants are going to drag us right back into something far worse than what the WWII generation fought so hard to get us OUT OF.
Uhh, sorry I don't remember anything. The judge has to dismiss this.
Just slow down gramps.
Donald Chump.....take notes
🙏🫶
He’s definitely lying about his service. If he’s 93 he would have been 14 at iwo jima.
He would have joined at 1947-48 and the war was over
you didn’t hear how he said he forged his birth certificate?
This video was probably made a few years back. Judge Caprio is retired now so this is not a new case.
This was a clip made years ago. Apparently, the gentleman in this video who has now passed away.
