Flea is a bass legend... could listen to this song all day for that bass line
Flea is a funking beast!
Whaddaya mean "could"? Its all i do 😁
If that's the baseline of my life, I'm livin the dream.
Shoutout to Will Ferrell on the drums.
And PewDiePie on the guitar
And Mr Clean on the bass
Damn! You beat me to it lol
And Aaron Rodgers on vocals
You would think this joke would get old but it still makes me laugh lol.
Fun facts: flea (bassist) is one the greatest bass players of all time!
Also: Anthony (lead singer) is immune to aging!😂
Flea is one of the greatest bassist of all time let people hate on me I don’t care but he is red hots sound.. btw please get into Chris Cornell more he is an all time great vocalist.
No one will hate on you for stating facts brother
Yeah people from other genres like the many subgenres of Metal won't exactly disagree with you by calling Flea the GOAT. Because he is an inspiration to a slew generation of bassist and percussionist. Even by Fusion Jazz standard he is considered a great bassist.
I'm a huge metalhead but I like all genres. I even like rap. I think flea is overwhelmingly considered one of the top bassists ever
I’m a huuuuge metalhead and man oh man. Flea is one beast of a bass player.
There are some good bassist out there, Flea being one of the best. But how is a conversation about bassist missing the legend Les Claypool?
I love the Chili Peppers. Flea will always be an amazing bassist and they wouldn’t be the same without him. Which is not something you can say about most bassists.
Or Claypool
the band really changed when John left though. dude was a genius
If you want to hear a song with John playing guitar and Flea on base, Cicatriz ESP by The Mars Volta has got you covered. Flea did the bass for the entire record, and Mr. Frusciante is one of the two lead guitars on that track (Omar Rodriguez-Lopez is the other guitar and lead on the rest of the album).
Same thing with Muse. Amazing band but without the bass they wouldn't be the same.
Chris Squire, Steve Harris.
Red Hot Chili Pepers Don’t forget me live at slane castle epic like for it
Shoutout to you for calling this one
The entire live at slane castle show. Best energy, best vibes, true artists at work
Don't Forget Me live at La Cigale is my favorite
Insane and venice Queen slane castle was lifechanging
Y’all are amazing man, I’m a metal guy but I’m being exposed to lots of stuff from your channel! Thank you for being genuine.
Queens of the Stone age - No one Knows, pls guys
Or maybe 3s & 7s
The evil has landed
Everyone on the planet has heard No One Knows, come on now dude.
In the Fade
No. No they haven’t
You two are Killin it with these releases on patreon! I really enjoy this song. It's one of the few of theirs I don't have to be in a certain mood to listen to. Super funky!
Man this shit says this was commented 1 month ago WTH youtube
Yall really dont think do yall? Early access. Patreon. That's how. They even said it.
Bruh how is comment 1 month old 😂😂
Maaan Red Hot is my favorite band, just the energy that they put in their music is increrible.
always love your reviews. another great one. it was awesome to see you loving and appreciating the band,; but also each member for what they bring.
this band has always been special.
I LOVE this channel for so many reasons I’ve been trying to explain it to my pals
1. You are simply entertaining people to watch and your dynamic is great
2. You are both so knowledgeable about music and clearly have a real passion which it’s lovely to be able to share
3. It’s such a great way to discover new music there are so many deep cuts I’d never have heard without this channel
4. Some of your reactions are to songs I’ve known and loved for years, and watching you guys have that first listen is like experiencing it myself for the first time again
Keep killing it
Hit us up with some more soul cuts, do you know Syl Johnson? Classic 60s
Or even some modern soul like Leon Bridges!
Yesss RHCP baby, bout time! They are legendary 4 sure!
There song “Hey” is amazing. Anyone who plays guitar knows exactly how amazing former guitar player John Frusciante is.
Current :-)
oh yeah, Stadium Arcadium album as a whole is epic
@@FLWVideosYT That's funny, I'm a huge huge RHCP fan (even listened to all their B sides, C sides, bonus tracks and demos) and I've never liked Stadium much. I like plenty of songs from it but with how there's so many songs in it as a double album I can't help but disregard more than half. I'd just pick some songs from each CD and make it into 1. Hey is one of those songs for sure, brilliant track.
Can’t forget Minor Thing (that ending is quite possibly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard), Midnight and If too
THE CHILI PEPPERS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS IN THE LAST 35 YEARS, I SAW THEM IN PHOENIX ARIZONA 2 YEARS AGO, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I HAVE EVER SEEN, I HAVE BEEN TO 400 CONCERTS IN MY LIFE, I SAW HENDRIX OPEN UP FOR THE MONKEES IN DETROIT, I HAVE SEEN THE STONES, THE PEPPERS RULE, COUSIN FIGEL, COUSIN FIGEL
Best reaction channel on UA-cam thanks again fellas. One of my favorite rhcp songs. And such a unique band it's hard to compare them to anyone else. Some tracks you may not have heard. Can't stop, soul to squeeze, breaking the girl, the other side.
My fav RHCP song so far, it's more commercial than their early stuff, yes, but it's still have that RHCP groove, and man, I love the relaxing style that this song has, really cool, great election guys!
they're commercial since thei signed a major, so...
It's definitely my favorite RHCP song as well, which is insane because they've been a part of my life for legitimately all 28 years of my life
But this song man... so damn good. That ending guitar solo kills my soul in the best way.
sounds like jamiroquai... and now is the question whos groove that is..
Flea is the bass player for RHCP, he also played the bassline on Young MC's Bust a Move, hes in the video too
man every video you put out is gold. Love the combo of your own views and a broad knowledge of good music, and especially the general respect you have for the musicians.
yeah this is a band that has created timeless music. not too many can do it like this where it literally just transcends the era it was created in. so cool
Do more chili peppers! As one of their biggest fans i know they have depth. They’re a band that can make you feel every emotion possible. I’ve danced to their music, I’ve cried to their music, I’ve fought to their music, they are as a whole the most well rounded band I’ve ever listened to.
Goodbye Angels is another great song from their new album, you guys should take a listen.
Respect! I watch for most of your hip hop reviews but this is my favorite band of all time. “Let’s keep it goin!”
I've been waiting to see you guys do some Chili Peppers!! They're my fave, just love their groove! I couldn't agree more with your reaction.
Agree completely, this song dripp's 70's but done in a Chilli's way. GREAT SONG!
Snow. Under the bridge. Soul to squeeze. Rhcp is a great band
but overrated...
Bad singer however
FACT: Anyone who calls them overrated have never seen them live.
God damn man. I’m a huge (and I mean really huge) RHCP fan and you guys made my day. Even after over 30 years, everything these guys put out is amazing. I hope you guys react to Can’t Stop, another chili pepper staple. Love the channel!
I've been a Chili Peppers fan since my high school days, you guys are super intuitive. Love these reviews
Off the top of my head for RHCP:
-Fight Like a Brave
-The Righteous and the Wicked
-Aeroplane
-My Friends
-Venice Queen
-Subway to Venus
-Higher Ground (Stevie Wonder cover)
-Soul to Squeeze
And you missed suck my kiss! But still I agree.
I'd add Sir Psycho, Suck My Kiss, Me and My Friends, Stone Cold Bush, Get Up and Jump, Catholic School Girls Rule, Around The World, Coffee Shop
What about snow???
Tama Drummer only missing funky crime, taste the pain, good time boys, right on time, and walkabout
Backwoods
This Velvet Glove
Nobody Weird Like Me
Brendan's Death Song
Don't Forget Me
Goodbye Hooray
Around The World
Mellowship Slinky In B Major
Feasting On The Flowers
Turn It Again
The list can go on
Been a fan of the Chilies since the late 80's and i haven't heard this one yet. They still got it.Thxs for keeping it real, love your reaction videos.
Their ability to keep their sound and style mixed with the ability to continue creating new material is the reason they have stood the test of time. Their induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is the proof.
Yo you two just get it! Your comments are insightful even when you admit not bands biggest fans. Goes to show you love music across the board. Keep it up bois!
Dark Necessities is a sexy ass song (pretzel list level) and, for me, top 3 in the RHCP catalog.
Now... Hero of War by Rise Against!
Seriously! Hero of War!!! Please please please
For some perspective: RHCP’s first greatest hits album “What Hits!?” came out in 1992 lol.
I love these guys, they get me with their total love of their craft. I just started listening to them maybe last year and I'm enjoying them. To me, it's music that gets stuck in your head and you keep humming it all day long.
Dope REACTION! Thanks Ryan&George. Keeping it real & unbiased. You'll be at one mil before ya'know it!
You would REALLY enjoy "can't stop - Red hot chili peppers"
MrE Tv same bassline as this song pretty much, so they’d dig it 😂
But forreal, RHCP are rock gods
"Can't stop the spirits when they need you! This life is more than just a read through!"
Yes, Can’t Stop is one of their best songs by far
Yes! indeed! almost the same bassline
Love it!
A good rock song about California is Aenima by Tool.
Learn to swim
LMAO, my favorite California song.
Indeed!
Lol! I see what you did there
Moms gonna put it back the way it oughtta be
After all these years, this is my favorite RHCP song...
Thanks for all of your great videos...
I still havent stopped listening to Rage's Know Your Enemy after you guys reintroduced to me a few weeks ago.
Thanks again ❤💯👍✊
Saw this live in 2016! Dope to see you guys react, keep it up!
Speaking of light hearted rock.
Angel of Death - Slayer
All due respect to RHCP, but John Frusciante is the rock guitar GOAT.
Agreed. Flea, John and Chad make seriously good music. Respect to Anthony Keidis but those 3 are the creative geniuses in my eyes
Except no. Hillel > Frusciante
Acid Fuzz I need to know what you’re smoking. John> Any former RHCP guitarist
BibleofBattle, And I'm sure you think Californication is an acceptable album too. Even Frusciante himself would tell you Slovak was better.
@@BibleofBattle slovak is not as good like fruciante but he was more creative guitar he had a unique sound
R.H.C.P are my all time favorite band. Glad you guys enjoyed the new stuff. See them live, they will not disappoint. The music is great, the crowd is diverse and its always a party.
The both of you have really grown musically, compared to your early video's! I believe your audience has broaden their musical horizons ! Keep doing what your doing! All of us will benefit!
Texas flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan please. Any song by Stevie won’t disappoint though!
i have commented on a few of their videos to play Stevie, no success yet though. cant wait for the day to bring me back to the first time i listened to his music. Just pure talent, feel and soul
Stevie Ray Vaughan is not for mortals. He is a musical God that we got to enjoy before he returned to Mount Olympus.
I love the reaction! Great song they are one of the few bands that have kept their own unique style throughout the years but still know how to produce exiting and new music in their own style!
Also please check out QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, can’t believe y’all haven’t yet. Either NO ONE KNOWS or 3s and 7s. While both are over played they are two epically great songs from QOSA.
Great song! I’ve been listening to them since ‘87. Saw this tour. It was awesome.
Bloody good song that, never heard it before. Nice reaction lads, gonna listen to it in full now.
RHCP always gets their funk on!
Keeping it H E A L T H Y
Great song choice guys!
On an unrealated note, please give Porcupine Tree another shot. I'd recommend "Arriving Somewhere But Not Here" as it showcases their abilities the best.
This is them with a new guitarists too. It’s different and familiar at the same time. Thanks for doing this one.
COCAINE BLUES LIVE PLEASE.
That was a great song. Loved your review also.
This song is so beautiful, they still got it after all these years!
Red Hot Chili Pepper, Respek... 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
Scandal bold pinay
I think when you say they have that "commercial" element, it isn't doing justice to the fact that they're the ones who more or less created that sound. So, it's less about them making music to have those commercial qualities, but that others emulated what they started doing in the 80's so that it seems so mainstream now. Hope I articulated that so it makes sense. Either way, love your work fellas, keep it up
Hey guys! This channel is the only reaction channel that I watch, and I've been watching your videos for quite some time now and I thought that it would be awesome if you reviewed music from other cultures. I believe it can give a nice touch to your channel and also make you more connected to people from other countries.
I know most people won't know the songs, but I believe many will thank you for listening to "their" music and for helping them discover new genres and music. And about the song I thought about "El Alcaravan" by Simon Diaz who's from Venezuela, a country in the Caribbean, he was a huge musician there, and many of his songs are a mirror of Venezuela's culture in the country side. Hope you keep it up with the videos!
I'm so proud to be free thinker, love y'all keep it up
Listen to “Hey” by Pixies
Or Debaser, another great tune
Jack Napier True, I just feel like they’d enjoy “Hey” more
@@skyfox490 yea it's definitely more accessable
Or "Hey" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
Ohhh this would make me so happy!
Passive, the outsider, the noose, Orestes, Judith - A perfect circle
The first video I watch from your channel, very nice video.
I love you guys. You've opened my mind to so many things that I'd gotten old and stubborn about. I got to see the Chili Peppers live in small clubs several times in the mid to late 80s, but once Under The Bridge blew up on commercial radio, I left them behind because I didn't like the change in their sound. I see now that I didn't give them room and respect to grow. I haven't listened to anything they did after Blood Sugar Sex Magic in years, but I really enjoyed this. Kudos! You still can't make me like Evanescence, though. ;) Keep up the great content!
I was not expecting this reaction to my favorite band
Lcd soundsystem- all my friends
The live video is great to watch too
That's a late summer's day song. Right as the sun hits the top of the trees and has that dim orange glow. Through that song on get a breeze going and that's the perfect time to listen to that song!
Nice video! A couple of my favs from RHCP are 'hey' and 'wet sand'.
8:09 “These mu(thafuckers) these GUYS have been out since 1984.”
😂😂 good save brothas
I’ve been waiting for y’all to do some Queens of the Stone Age
Another one of those, like before even seeing it videos. A classic.
You know what?! I've actually been subbed since July and been enjoying this channel a whole lot hahah I've never even requested a song before.. Maybe I should..
I love how you clued in on the bass work. Flea and Geddy Lee of Rush are two of the best bassist in the game! Definitely do some more RHCP and PLEASE react to Disturbed some time guys...much love & respect! **G-Money**
wow we have very similar music taste it seems
This is groovy af!
I hadn't heard anything from them in a long time. Thank you for helping me fix that. The chili peps still have it.
im thinking i may have to get in on that patreon to have the glory of Nightwish to be heard!
The getaway is a great album, loved the whole vibe of it
You should do Local Natives - Wide Eyes. They have that California sound. Indie rock with great grooves and vocal melodies.
thisssssssssssssss
Agh I'm so happy you guys give credit where it's due to the bass, it slaps hard!
Another great track. Great reaction guys.
If you want some good bass, try Go robot by red hot chili peppers
Mudvayne - Death Blooms
Can't wait till you guys hit a million subs.
So glad you all heard this song!! I love the bass line :D
Judith by a Perfect Circle!!!!!!!
Third Eye By Tool!!!!!!!!
Bros you gotta check this out especially APC. And seriously third eye has to be the next tool song you do, it’s top five for me in tools catalogue, one of the best of all time honestly. If you do do Third Eye, I cannot WAIT to see what you think about three things: his scream, the whispers, and the lyrical interpretation of this extremely poetic and “deep” song. Guys like this comment so Ryan and George can see this!! I’ve been commenting these for a couple months to almost a year now 😂
Love you guys! You guys are seriously legends, every other reaction channel I go to is BS. I even recognized that a couple months after you started! Keep up the good work guys, your reactions have actually made me like songs I listened to previously that I didn’t like. Much respect brothas
Third Eye would be a bit too much for them right now I'm pretty sure.
floffleloppagus Kony no dude i personally think they are ready. It’s an essential tool song to listen to and get them more excited for what else there is
Also do A perfect circle - the outsider please!
I think there's more accessable Tool than 3rd Eye for them. They'd appreciate it, but they'd like Right in Two, Reflection, Aenima, or Schism more. For APC, I'll pick my old favorite The Hollow or my new favorite Talk Talk.
Peter Downer one hundred percent there is but I just really think they would like that tool song and really appreciate and it would open them up to songs like reflection and right in to because third eye is probably the first to go down that “path” you know?
Pantera - Cemetery Gates, Cowboys from Hell, A Message in Blood (and a million others)
Red Hot Chili Peppers are true artists!
awesome reaction!
Love this! I remember when they toured early with Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins. Great talent and unique sounds from that era, and the Peppers still kill it!
Please check out A Perfect Circle - Judith
I second that
Definitely with you on that one!
No! Yes! Indeed!
Avenged sevenfold - Save Me!! You guys will really like it. I became a patron just to recommend this song!!
Reid Geddie YES one of their best
YesYesYes please do this!!!A7X of any kind please!!!!
Yes i love Save Me
Underrated song for sure
How the hell was this commented 1 mouth ago when this video came out today?
Gotta admit I'm one of those guys too. I heard a lot of their music thanks to other sources like movies or tv shows but Ive never really tied it to Red Hot Chili Peppers until now and it makes me appreciate their music and artistry a lot more because I knew about the group but never went deep into their music so knowing Ive heard a couple makes me feel a little bit better that I at least know a couple tracks. Really appreciate y'all reaction on Red Hot Chili Peppers Lost In Vegas.
I was a huge fan of them in high school! Definitely need to catch up
TESSERACT - Of Matter (Live at Sphere Studios). Give this a shot!
You guys should react to GOODBYE ANGELS!!!! Best song of this album!
Saw RHCP last year and damn did they ever blow me away, they sounded awesome and crazy high energy for the entire set.
I'm only 17 and I grew up like I was born in the 80's when it comes to my taste in music. I was born in California and moving up to Washington, this band was the only thing that stayed with me to this day
Architects - Gone with the Wind
You guys should do a reaction video of Dragula by Rob Zombie. You guys haven’t really covered Industrial Metal, and it’s a shock rock classic as well. Really worth a video.
I don't believe Rob Zombie is industrial metal. More like groove metal...!
Lance Lust his music crosses both. It’s not industrial in the same sense of NIN or Ministry, but you can hear electronic elements and sampling in almost all his songs.
React to hurt from nine inch nails, them the Johny cash version
@@randyhubbard7051 they've already done Johnny's
HELLO, CHAD, THE DRUMMER, AND ANTHONY , THE SINGER, BOTH GREW UP IN MICHIGAN, AND MOVED TO L.A., LATER IN LIFE, THE REST IS HISTORY, ONE OF THE GREATEST BANDS EVER, COUSIN FIGEL
Love it Red Hot is my favorite rock band ever. Peep that whole album they have a lot of good tracks on there!
Unbelievably happy you finally did RHCP, but.. you need to do a song with John Frusciante in it, Power of Equality should definitely be on your radar, musically and lyrically.
They wont like the odd flow of the music in that song and yet-to-mature vocal abilities of Kiedis in that song
In Flames - Only For The Weak (amongst MANY good old songs my brothers)
I remember the first time I saw them was in a movie with Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster called Tough Guys in around 86-87. They play live in the movie. I think Anthony Kiedis was wearing a goofy hat or something like that. Anyway, these guys are great. I love the beat and bass on this song.
Great original band that people from all genres of music love. Keep up the free thinking, love the channel guys.
I have to mention, I love how you said “if we’ve heard this one it may not see the light of day” when the first lyrics are literally, “coming on to the light of day”
