Neil thanks for the tutorial. Can I ask though. If we bring in zoom guests do we notch up the upload bandwidth required just like bringing guests into Ecamm through the add guests tab, i.e, the more guests into Ecamm the more upload bandwidth required as being in The UK, my upload speed is total rubbish and I have never been able to bring in multiple guests as the connection would fall over, but if by bringing them in via Zoom it is seen as just my bandwidth being used, that for me would be an epic step forward in bringing in multiple guests via Zoom! Thanks Brian
Often we have 30 participants on zoom at the same time. How do I invite “the active speaker” in? Do I really need to create a speaker scene for each participant? 😊 … sometime we are 100 people
Hi Christopher! Everyone handles this a bit differently (and we encourage you to jump into our Community at ecamm.tv/commuinty? to ask others). Here's what our moderator Daniel does for this: I have scenes for each speaker in full screen, and I also have a scene with the Active Speaker placeholder. When I want to focus solely on the individual, I show that specific scene with only their video, however, if I know that there will be banter, I switch over to the Active Speaker scene - no one will notice the switch because the person I'm focused on is speaking anyway.
This is epic in every way...and the lovely vibe with your wife has me grinning, so thank you
Thanks so much for watching (and for the kind words!)
Very informative in a simple way. I love the humour. 😂
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!

Hi Brian - unfortunately no. This won't solve that issue.
@ oh bummer, but thanks anyway for the reply!
Sorry about that!

Great video. As far as I can se I have to have it set up before the show starts (so it’s smooth for the other participants)?
🎉
Woohoo! Thanks for watching.
Hahah bro.. pay your wife! Haha
LOL
