RIU Palace Peninsula Cancun - 2 Rooms Tour

After a fly delay we arrived to the hotel in the AM hours, the counter guy upgraded us to a VIP room that later we requested relocation to from. The VIP room is large but at the time there was a smell not pleasant that we decided to relocate, this room is at ground level in their own pool section. We relocated to the 5th floor and the view was spectacular but still there was problems with leaks thru the ceiling that night that took maintenance a while to take care of. I probably will revisit the hotel if I have the to but with so many options in the area, I don't know if I will.

What kind of smell? I'm booked here for after Christmas hopefully no issues I have Suite/Ocean View room looks just like your 1st room but not Villa. Thanks for posting Video...
