You didn’t calibrate the ESC, that’s why it was beeping.
Do they have this bird in a larger form?
Manual and Amazon website both specify that the default setting for the battery alarm is set to 2S (7.4V). You need to hit any trim switch and then use the APP to reset the alarm voltage for 4AA to 5V.

The reason the radio is beeping is because it's setup for a 2S LiPo (7.4V) not 4 x AA. All you need to do is connect the app and change the low battery warning to 6.6V instead of the 7.3V that it is programmed to now most likely. Either that or just put a 2S LiPo in the radio.
So you have to connect the transmitter to a computer to make this change?
@@scable-eq7bp connect to the app wirelessly on your phone or tablet not the computer, the factory set it up for lipo low voltage not alkaline batteries.
@@GrumpyRCPilot Thanks, I solved the problem by just installing a 2s lipo 7.4 volts battery in the transmitter....
Said it before and saying it again: would be cool to have a follow-up video to show how the seller addressed this beeping problem. Yes it's good that you don't sugar-coat things, but it would also be good to hear about after-sales. Just saying ;-)
Ground control rc had a discount code when this first came out but it was still 150.00. I emailed the representative from radiolink and told her they would sell more at a lower price point. Thanks for the honest reviews I watch them all.

Nate after watching some other reviews of this plane, the beeping is a simple fix, just install a 2S lipo battery with 7.4 volts in the transmitter, it will plug right into the supplied connector on the transmitter, probably wouldn't hurt to use a little velcro also....
So, spend 200 bucks on the plane. Buy a 2s battery to stop the annoying beeping. Hard pass
I saw the price and was surprised as a kit version of this is selling for less than 100$ with full electronics not including battery but its bigger (909mm wingspan) stronger (3S battery) and do not include this radio but another one.
it too is called SU-27 and it flies great and has very similar frame only bigger.
The advantage of this coming ready and not need to be assembled with hot glue gun.
Than again putting up the kit made me sort of confident i'll be able to do it again and fix any problem.

If you connect the radio to Bluetooth and the radio link app you can adjust the voltage limits
Interesting. We definitely need to do this because I even tried a different brand (also new batteries) when we got home just to be safe. This seems like a strange thing to require of a person with a RTF plane, don’t ya think? 🤔 😅⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors they are a budget radio. It definitely has its ups and downs. I've learned the hard way and saved radio programming for the bench. I've used this radio system for about 2yrs and then went open tx.
@@vernoncaleyRc Yes - budget or not, though, you should not have this kind of experience out of the box with this radio. Glad to see Nate showing this for what it is. The company needs to address a few things, no doubt about it.
@@maxh771 I totally agree. I build and fly every weekend. Just for fun , more crash then fly. Nate and Abby do a wonderful job of showing ready to fly/ready to run. I love there channel. Not every rc is made for out of the box ready. But we can always learn from the experience. Let's keep it simple.

Profile park jets are awesome! You rarely see them anymore. They fly great and are easy to fly, easy to build from scratch with plans all over the place. Very fun. I'm glad they offer this. Open the radio and stick a screwdriver through the darn speaker!, or simply cut the wire like a civilized human being.

Wow that is one screaming 😵 jet. I mean literally that motor is LOUD 🤫🤫 & whiney. I actually couldn't hear 👂the beep over that motor.😊. For a flat jet it looks good & personally better looking than the flat plane. With that box bottom sorta remindes me of a soviet sukhoi jet. It looks more jetty flat than the plane looks planey 😊😊. Well, I thought the sound of the radio beeper was annoying, but the sound of the motor was even worse to me. Thanks for the video so I know that! Seems like it would have been a cool plane other than the noises.

One possible problem of the remote could be its in lion mode or something other than alkaline, my radio is a different brand but would do that when i put brand new aa batts in until i changed it from lion to alkaline mode, dont know if that radio has that but could be a possibility

No, something went wrong with that release, shipping, and other website issues likely. No one got the P-51 and it’ll just be a rushed scramble to get content out on it I’m sure.

Wouldn’t think it would be a big deal to disconnect the beeper. Yes, it’s inconvenient, but not the end of the world. 🙂

Could you bind the jet to the A560 transmitter? I enjoy your reviews and respect your honesty. I hope you can resolve the transmitter problem so we can see a more complete flight demonstration. Low battery warning - simple fix - put the right batteries in it and it won't beep - or set the battery warning level in the app.

What voltage battery's are in there? I found it's best to put 1.5v or 1.6v AA batteries in transmitters, or wire up a lipo, check voltage first. Let me know if this helps 😊
Only thing I can think of is that the remote controller is in 3D flight mode/mix on or something like that and warn you about harder steering. I have a plane that have same sound if I use on of the controller switch to mix mode. Not sure if this help you but can allso be esc not calibrated right.
Not sure which was worse - the beeping transmitter or the screaming motor/prop noise. 200 bucks for a flat foam beeping screaming plane? No thanks.
I agree, Horizon and FMS have many better planes for that amount of money. Never been a fan of lightweight planes. Especially at that price! ... but, thanks for the review.

Nate, brand new batteries can be bad. Try some others.
Solid advice! I did once I got home. Different brand, but still new and had the same experience. Some have said in the comments there are fixes to this. Will give them a shot and do an update on this down the road 👍💯😎⚓️

Great minds think alike in this case! As soon as I got home, I changed AA batteries to a different brand (also new) and it had the same issue. Some have said I need to adjust the low voltage alarm using an app. IMO, a RTF should not require these kinds of adjustments from the customer. 👍💯⚓️
Grab a generic battery tester. I have had some batteries brand new be low voltage already, especially amazon brand ones. 1 out of 4 batteries may be dead.

Nice plane but the radio is a flaw.
Really overpriced for what it is tbh. This foamboard su27 design is popular in China and you can buy a pnp for $15, all radiolink did is shrunk it down, made it rtf and are asking $150.

PNP means no electronics, so yea 15 for the foam board then more than 200 for the electronics and gyros if purchased separately. As an RTF with stabilization and modern remote technology, this will ensure you get a huge number of flights for cheap money. Since it's foam board fix it from the dollar store. Not a bad price to get something like this with the features it has imo.

Even after goin through their app to change the voltage warnings tone that mf still beeps.. ima have to open the controller and find the speaker and destroy it 😂

@vernoncaleyRc I did, but the beeping remained. I actually spoke to radiolink about it, they were very helpful. And my friend who has the same controller (t8s) did the same steps I did and the beeping stopped. My controller just doesn't like me.
@@lewiemotorsports3616 I've had this radio for a few years and never up dated the framewire, maybe the have changed something. I've switch to the radio master boxer, and haven't looked back.
You would have better served the company and viewer by not doing a review at this time.

Thats not flight stabilization thats safe
SAFE is officially a Spektrum branded flight stabilizer. They’ve been known to get upset with people if you call a stabilizer SAFE…. So, we try to be careful not to upset them. 👍💯⚓️

RadioLink is garbage. Crashed every single plane I ever threw one of their Rx's in due to signal interference. The plane probably can fly fine, but I'm not giving RL any more money.
Sea Land RC is best which you fly this is waste of money
