I had chosen to give up an amazing job to be with my family. Best thing I ever did. So happy to hear James has chosen his family as well.
He left because he was not brining in the dough for the show. It had nothing to do about family.

He chose his family over money… you have to respect that regardless of your personal opinion of him.
He wasn’t offered 50 million as this was all spin. CBS is discontinuing the 12:30 late night timeslot after Corden leaves. He was getting less than a million viewers a night as this is all a way for him to walk away without saying his show was going to be canceled.

NO, you need money for security. Without security you're stressed. If I lived in America and wasn't a millionaire I'd be terrified. It takes one illness and you have to use all of your savings and end up on the street. Frightening.

They are suggesting Americans are only worried about money and such priorities means Americans don’t come from well-rounded homes and that’s why they are struggling with mental illness. @ellie was correct in saying, “Americans” can’t ignore money as a main priority and motivator, that it provides security.
Good for you. I had a similar choice years ago and I chose to forgo career to spend more time with my aging parents. Best decision ever as both passed away within 5 years.

Great script, but I don’t believe a word that comes out of his mouth. This narcissistic bully will be back in film, tv, etc within a couple of months. How he generates these opportunities is the greatest mystery of all.
