I was hoping someone would go after Craig Ferguson. He needs to be brought back at any cost.
He left because he wanted for his children and for himself to be in proximity to his extended family. How can you top that?
I keep saying: bring him back here when the kids get older and give him a daytime show. He was the best late night host ever.
There are idioms from Craig Ferguson that have become our vernacular at home.

I loved Carpool Karaoke, and Toddlerography…and the riff-offs with stars…and I bet “Barbie/The Crosswalk Musical” would have been brilliant and so much fun to watch! Thank goodness I can watch past highlights on UA-cam as I like! Good luck with future endeavors, James, and thanks for all the laughs and your own endearing humility!
I miss him. I really liked him as a host
Interesting that he did not want his children to grow up in American culture and wanted them to experience British culture. That says a lot about where the American society is today. The grandparents were part of it too, but I think there is more to it. He was such a perfect fit for CBS late night television.
Ive missed him. He got me through Covid.
Even non-natives had a lot of fun watching this show.:))

James Corden is probably the only talk show host with an incredible singing voice,he is so talented and he was the kindest men to his guests ,he made everybody feel comfortable on his show,can’t say the same about a few hosts who are just not nice at all to people in their shows !

Ask any waitstaff in LA, NYC - James Corden is a horrible, nasty man. Treats everyone but celebrities with such disrespect.
This pov is widespread but seems based on 2 x a decade apart? Plenty of none celebs have reported positive interactions with him. I know Corden has spoken about getting a bit full of himself when he became famous and successful, but I’d say thats the same for a great many ppl and at least he recognised it in himself and toned it down, you need to be confident when in the public eye so it’s a tightrope to get it right
