pensarti lontano,
immergermi nel tuo silenzio
e non capire.
Quante parole
ho da dirti,
quante
ne ho dimenticate,
tante
le ho lasciate cadere e finire
in dubbi mai svelati.
Mi manchi,
nel silente respiro delle notti
cullate dalle stelle,
al sorgere inquietante del giorno,
nello stormir vivace
delle foglie al vento.
Mi manchi,
tra le opache pieghe
dei miei sogni
quando il tuo viso appare
e poi si perde
al mio risveglio,
quando svanisce il sogno
e io mi accorgo
d'aver paura di rincorrerti
e non raggiungerti.
Di non ritrovarti ad aspettarmi
alla fine dei miei giorni.

I miss you,
in the silent breath of the nights
cradled by the stars,
at disquieting rise of the day,
in the lively rustling
of leaves in the wind.
I miss you,
among the opaque folds
of my dreams
when your face appears
and then lose itself
at my awakening,
when fades the dream
and I realize
to be afraid to run after you
and don't reach you.
Not to find you waiting for me
at the end of my days.
My heart gets wet like the snowflakes in the streets of Rome at night... A light pain passes through my heart like those street-light and disappears somewhere... My eyes are full of sad tears... falling like those snowflakes-rain there is...."I Miss You!" B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L dear Ad.... ))

Your video has reminded me of some lines from the poem 'To A Skylark' by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
We look before and after,
And pine for what is not;
Our sincerest laughter
With some pain is fraught;
Our sweetest songs are those that tell
Of saddest thought.
There is sweetness in poignancy, and poignancy in sweetness. Love exists in many forms. I desperately miss and yearn for my younger brother who's gone too soon. I too, chase him sometimes in the darkness and rain, still unable to acknowledge the truth. This video has touched my heart in a different way. Have a blessed and beautiful day dear friend. disappointments and disillusionments are hidden behind the lines you quoted, and also in the poem of my video these two aspects return in the memories driving alone on a rainy night......
yes, love exists in many forms.....and this poem can bring to mind a person in love, but also a loved one far away or no longer here.... I'm lucky, I have not experienced the situation you describe, but I can understand how darkness and rain can grow this melancholy thoughts ......
