Love the feature of being able to open the windows without having the key in. Such an small feature but makes life so much easier when using the car daily.

Toyota has this feature on cars with auto windows. They can be put up or down for about 45 seconds after the ignition is turned off
The first vid about the enkei wheels made me appreciate my stock wheels so much more 💜

When your outside, you can turn the key in the door lock to close twice and hold, it will close all the windows automatically, if you open it twice and hold it will lower the windows.

My 1997 Accord Vti electric windows work in the same way as yours.There is however a limited time of around 1/2 a minute or so before having to turn the key on again.Could you see if your ones still work after a extended period of time and report back?
Yeah they work indefinitely until you open the door, or at least for a good 5 mins or so I believe

@@KiwiCarLife The bonnet feature was on Civic models EG and EK and possibly other Honda Models.I don't recall any Accords having that feature but now fully informed about the Accord Euro having that feature!
It's always have been part of the bonnet feature though. Like since the 90s Honda.

In the states the tsx is notorious for the trunk leaks , do u know how I can fix it
Haven't heard of that issue on an accord like mine, but did have that issue on my dc5. Probably the tail light gaskets

Mine keeps locking auto locking after a flat battery do to know how to turn this off?
Replace the battery so it doesn’t go flat haha

I found another hidden feature. If you press on the tab next to the e brake it springs open. Press the button under the top lid of the tab and a plastic piece will drop down. You pretty much get a cup holder out of it.
Yep the little retainer for two cups is hidden away

What is your opinion on 8 gen Accords(2.4 AUT) ?
Very nice cars to drive. Not sports cars though
I drove one recently and it didn't feel that fast in terms of acceleration (auto). It was a 2008 model, saloon. I ended up purchasing a 2006 7th gen (auto) and it feels more of a drivers car to me. Inside the 8th gen, you do feel more at one with the car though. Prefer my 7th gen (and I come for a 6th gen that I owned for over 12 years - Honda Accords are the best car imho and I've had many Mercs, BMW etc, so any Accord is great :) ).
Is there an accord club in NZ? In Auckland?

If the headlights of the Accord are left on and the doors are closed and the car is locked via the key, they automatically turn off after about 20 seconds. And if the car is unlocked, they come back on again. This works well as pseudo 'coming home lights'; if you park somewhere in the dark, you can just leave the lights on and lock the car. And when you're back and you unlock the car, the headlights automatically come back on.

That one about the windows isn't always true. I met my wife for lunch the other day in my 2007 CL9 and she was in her 2010 Civic. She put her windows up like that and I had to put my key back in to get my windows up.
Yeah seems like not all of them have that feature

You forgot that the seatbelt is adjustable height on the pillars for both front belts. Good for short and tall people.
Good idea, didn't put it in though because every car has that feature, not just the Accord Euro.
@@KiwiCarLife same goes the bonnet holder locations. All cars have this features too. DC2, EG6, and all other Hondas I know of have this.

Nah, on my dslr, its just i work all day and its getting darker in the evenings so I filmed it as soon as I got home but the sun was already going down. Thats why its quite grainy unfortunately
@@KiwiCarLife Yeah, my S20 plus does exactly the same. It can shoot in 8k but as soon as the light level drops the image becomes grainy. Did you notice any change in the performance when you stuck on the new exhaust? Considering getting a cat back system for my car.

From the workshop manual, a way to read the climate control sensors. It works on my 2.0 Accord Euro:
TO RUN THE SENSOR INPUT DISPLAY MODE, FOLLOW THESE STEPS
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Press and hold both the AUTO and DUAL buttons, then start the engine.
3. After the engine starts, release the buttons. The audio-HVAC display module display will flash the sensor
number and then the value for that sensor. Record the value displayed.
4. To advance to the next sensor, press the rear window defogger button
1 in car temp sensor
2 ambient temp
3 solar radiation
4 engine coolant temp
5 evaporator outlet temp
6 driver air mix opening (lower = cooler)
7 passenger air mix opening
8 vehicle speed (per 10 km/h)
9 vent temp air out
To cancel the sensor input display mode, press the AUTO button, or turn the ignition off
