My AU-517 ain't anywhere near that level of restoration, there's only so many guys left in this world capable of such great work. I had one similar to that I think it was 90 watts per Channel with the Dual meters can't remember the model number but it was a big one then I had a 75 watt for channel one that looks like there Sansui used to be a Transformer company back in the day first started and then I had a au717 integrated amp they made some hellafied receivers back then when the receiver was 75 watts per Channel trust me they were 75 watts per Channel Sansui made some beautiful beautiful receivers it's too bad what I read they filed for bankruptcy there's a good article called the history of Sansui I'm sure you probably already seen it some of those older receivers it's a good idea to get them recapped one thing about a sansui receiver when they warmed up they gave off a smell sort of like Electronics maybe you know what I'm talking about at least everyone I had and I heard this was normal and other people mention the same thing anyway beautiful receiver that's a keeper I would never sell that one right there you're getting more and more expensive
This receiver is compatible to the Pioneer SX-1080, Pioneer SX-1050, REALISTIC STA-2100, KENWOOD KR-8050, MARANTZ 2330, etc.
I meant comparable in my comment. The Sansui G-8000 receiver is a real beauty.
?
The slew rate is very important on amp.
Hi TJ. Off topic question. If I am powering my Elac Unifi b52s through and aiyima a07 via the pre out on my AVR should I crank the volume on the Aiyima and control the volume on the AVR? Or should I crank the volume on the AVR and control the volume on the Aiyima?
You always want to control the volume by yout preamp that eay you can use your remote then fine tone the volume of the amp at your Normal listening level
I keep my powered amp about half way up to start with
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 thanks! that’s what made sense to me but the Aiyima still doesn’t seem to power my Elacs either way. Appreciate your help.
Good job sir

Please lose this t-shirt… you’re degrading your channel by promoting that YT channel.
Zeos from Z-reviews has always been there for me great guy even 4 years before I started my channel his the reason i bought the Jbl 530s Kef Q100 and Aune X8 majic dac . I may be degrading his channel 😆 Its all about having fun thanks for stopping in
@@tee-jaythestereo-bargainph2120 I don’t know if we are talking about the same person but I doubt that you degrade his channel. Your reviews are very sensible, informative and structured. Keep up the good work.
