I saw a few things I would have bought. :) The canned cat food, the green set of salt and pepper shakers (vintage?), the animal nail clippers (I don’t know if my cats would go for it, but I’d give them a try) and a couple of odds and ends. Like I need more stuff when I’m cleaning out what I’ve got! I really haven’t gone to any tag sales for a few years because of that. A woman once told me about things on sale that you want but you don’t need…”You spend the first half of your life collecting stuff and the second half trying to get rid of it!” It made me laugh because it’s true! And that lady with all that free stuff. Like the Sylvester and Tweety collectibles?! Holy mackerel! I was going to ask you if you could post a picture of Heifer and see you did here. She’s so cute! I love animals, especially cats. I owned them my entire life and am a rescuer for many years. Don’t be afraid to give her canned food. Rescuers and vets have very definite opinions on wet vs dry. There’s no in between. I believe in both. I’ve always fed my animals, cats and dogs, canned food for breakfast and supper and bowls of water and dry always out for them to eat when they want and they were healthy and all died of old age. If you only want to feed one kind, make it canned. It gives them more of what they need, especially moisture. If they don’t have enough of that, it causes serious health problems. If you do go canned too, make sure it has low ash. That’s another thing that causes health problems. Please don’t think I’m telling you what to do. Rescuers just try to help and I thought I’d let you know because you told that lady you didn’t know about giving Heifer canned food. :) Well, now that I took up half of your comment section, I’ll shut up! Hi Debbie!!! I can remember not too long ago, maybe even less then seven or eight years, you had to park on one block, and walk, like a figure eight to yardsale, because there were that many sales, and that many people and it was always a huge event.. nowadays... "Citywide" can mean a whole whopping five or six, like in a town I went to a couple of weeks ago, I didn't even film it, to I believe Butler was the biggest I've been to, it was maybe twelve??? And my worries about feeding Heifer canned food is she is so good aggressive still.. not as bad as she was... But she still will bite if she has not had food put in her still full dish by five am, and five pm, and many times I fake it, by taking food out, and putting it back in, but as long as she sees I have food in the scoop before I do it, she's ok with it, but if not, it's a do over lol... I know Ash is really bad for them... I am getting her a pretty good dry, and I do want to add a good canned, just watching my budget lol... Hope you enjoy today's video!!
