Honorable mention, E1 Black swan Can work as an amplifier because as long as the enemy has arcana, which is always, it will have -25% wind res and because of her skill, they will also have -20% defense, which is equivalent of having a second Ruan mei ult on three enemies and a character like blade gets more damage amp with e1 Black Swan than He will with Bronya, and Wind Heng gets 100% wind pen straight up
I just run e0s1 kafka, e1 bs and e5 gui to maximize the -25% shred res since I don't have ruan mei. I'm pulling for 1 more gui for e6, that+1 firekiss is a really Good upgrade.
i thank you GENUINELY for this video, with a simple exchange of relics between my kafka and black swan (i was running fast BS with a kafka 1 spd behind due to misinformation from yt commenters, idk why i listened) i stacked atk while maintaining 134 spd and allowing kafka to go faster, going from 8k to 20k on a single arcana stack while running asta. feels good
@@gameralove6418fast BS only works when you have an equally fast Kafka. What most people got wrong about their speed tuning is that BS does not need to be faster than Kafka, but faster than the fastest enemies in the game which are about 155 spd. They just assumed that you only need to make everyone faster than Kafka to apply the dots and then forget about it and in the end either made their Kafka dogshit or killed BS' atk. In fact you can do just fine with a 102 spd BS with 4k atk and a 170 spd Kafka. Both Gacha Smack and Braxophone stressed this too: you either build her super fast, or no speed at all

I'm so glad I was forced to pull for Huohuo as I was in desperate need for a better sustain unit. I can now run several teams very comfortably knowing I have a good enough variety for MOC clearing or any other endgame modes, thankfully.
Huohuo is soo good... i thought i was really regret pulling her because i already have luocha AND fu xuan, (no gepy nor bailu) soo no really need for another sustain and that still stands too this day if u have those two, u are all good to go..... but my thoughs on pulling for her was the cleanse mostly, in my head the game was going to shift heavily on debufing the players... was not the case.. at least not as i was expecting... but now she is my number 1 sustainer... i only replace her with fu xuan when the comp needs more crit rate and thats it... if the comp is good on that... huohuo it is, ....my poor luocha is almost perma benched now lol... but no completly tho.. some comps i prefer him
i legit pulled huo huo on acciden and it was the best thing i couldve done without her amazing heals and cleanses i would not ahve made it far on my acc well i did have kafka so i was fine when i got kafka but huo huo took me to another level fr
HuoHuo is such a great unit, really amazing upgrade for any account but I still feel we need an specific sustainer for DoT comps, a Physical Healer that can apply Bleed, buff DoT DMG and deal some DMG, something like a lifestealer (+Adult or Medium Female model).
@@vickdinvick5485 Luocha is good if you need extra SP, so like a slower but more greedy playstyle. He's a decent AoE breaker too, and good with clutch heals (2T cd tho). I like to build him fast because he can reset his field very quickly. For DoT teams tho, HH is the clear winner here. But LC or RM won't be too far behind. Would be nice to see a chart for their dmg contribution in Kafka + BS team, like the 3rd slot comparison chart in the video.
@@theatter1837 ohh dont get me wrong.. i think luocha is fantastic... hes soo good that hes kinda overkill if u have decent build units, like 3.2k+ hp and 1k+ def on everyone... on those scnearios is can go more offensive with huohuo... for the energy... but overall i think u right is not much of a dif betwen them dmg wise.... and fast luocha is the way to go imho, no for the field itself but for the free skill heal to be ready faster.
I thought with the release of 2.0 content creators would focus on more beginner friendly guides since this new major patch is bound to have an influx of newer players into the game. MrChokke, from my experience, i found it very cope if I do not run Ruan Mei with the DoT comp. I tried replacing her with the other DoTs like Guinaifen or another support like Asta and from seeing it on my end, the damage isnt just a 5% dps loss. It was to a point wherein i found DoT comp ass without Ruan Mei. Was I doing something wrong? Also, for the E6S5 teams, yea, the problem then becomes the enemy arent strong enough to handle their damage. And well, the fact that an E6S5 Jingliu is so frontloaded but better consistency due to her Spectral Uptime being longer (from experience) compared to an E6S5 DoT comp is quite huge. Not saying that the E6S5 graph is wrong but when everyone is doing a gazilliion amounts of dmg, it would come down to how soon can they deal that damage on a 0 cycle clear. Plus to be perfectly honest, an E6S5 Jingliu is able to 0 cycle MoC12 (with or without Ice weakness) even if she does not have her best supports like Bronya and Ruan Mei. (im saying 0 cycle coz if ur a damage dealer that cant 0 cycle at E6 then you might as well just be a skill point generator lol)
I agree. I tried it out too, and running E6 Sampo or E6 Guinafein was just no where the level of even my E0 Ruan Mei. It's not a slight DMG increase, it's quite apparanent. + Break efficiency+ speed + delay, all of those essential aspects are all lost.
Yeah, also if you're aiming for Breaks, then the 3rd DoT may or may not help if they don't hit the weakness element of the enemy, while Ruan Mei can boost the break efficiency of your team so as long as the enemies are weak to Lightning and/or Wind then Kafka and Black Swan would be enough to break them

One thing I want to add is Asta is way better than other support for DOT because she not only offers same amount of DPS boost but also full team speed up, which means your healing/shielding unit also performs better, and you get way better survivability than Pela or other DOT units…
@MrPokke E0 Luka can trigger bleed with his enhanced basic to 80% but E6 permits him to trigger 8% for each Punch before the uppercut. That's why he's still viable against physical weak enemies even at E0
i have been using bswan at 140 speed and kafka at 136, which made sense to me as bswan would apply/increase arcana before kafka does everytime but professor pokke said kafka should always go before bswan. Can anyone explain why that is so?
not a theorycrafter or anything, but here's what i think not only does kafka benefit from 160 spd thanks to glamoth, but having that speed allows kafka to act twice in a single cycle, essentially allowing her to trigger arcana after bswan's application in the same cycle anyway (i may be wrong on this but that's what my understanding is)
@@jereg4662 do take note that bswan ALWAYS applied 1 stack of arcana the moment enemies spawn in, so using kafka skill will automatically add stacks right away
I noticed that Arcana gets put on the enemy team on turn 0, so I actually run my welfare Dr Ratio with my Black Swan because I only have 1 set of follow up attack relics (that Ratio is currently town biking with Topaz) and even as the debuff tag enabler, Black Swan is way better than any other unit I have, especially if I want to auto-play the fight for whatever reason.
Interesting to see that at least as far as damage you dont lose too much for subbing out ruan mei. Nice to know if my other team is really struggling i can give them my ruan mei for an extra bump
I started after Kafka Banner was over around 7 days ago and i got Black Swan.She still does alot of Damage without even having Sampo.Just slower.(Dr Ratio helps with the Dmg).But i wish there was a way to pull Banners from the past for new players.Without waiting alot of time.(Like a "Choose the Unit Banner you want for 1 Week" or smth)
For 0 cycle enjoyers, Black Swan, Kafka, Ruan Mei, Tingyun. That's the team you want in my experience. I got a 0 cycle clear in MoC 12 second half using this. All three 5 stars are at E1 for me. Black Swan and Kafka have their signatures. I unfortunately do not have Ruan Mei's, but hers would help. I used Carve the Moon on Tingyun to deal with some energy issues I had since I don't have Ruan Mei's signature, but DDD has some strong benefits too. In this team, you may want to experiment with an ERR on Kafka to reduce some of the rng, although I did stick with an attack rope, I had to have some things go my way to get the Ults up when needed which wouldn't have been as bad with an ERR on Kafka. Just some insights.

I have a good question, my BS pre RM buff is 152 speed and 3.3k atk, my kafka with goated pieces on atk boots is 3.9k atk and 137 speed(could be at 4.2k and 140 but had to swap pieces to BS for speed tuning) after RM buff they end up being 162 and 161 respectively before the enemies even get a turn, is this the optimal speed tuned build for this Team(RM, BS, Kafka, and HH)cuz this video u said ud want a med speed BS and a fast Kafka so I'm asking which is better?
The picture at 5:25, the origin video used the comparson betweed arcana and lightning-lord not as how backloaded/slow the damage is, but how the damage dealt outside of the character's turn. A bit of misinformation.
I was so stressed debating with this streamer on tiktok that said BlackSwan absolutely have to be faster than Kafka, if not Kafka won't have anything to detonate. While I think in theory it is right, but him reviewing accounts, and stressing out that BlackSwan has to be faster than Kafka, just stresses me out. Like what bro you prefer people to just lower their Kafka speed to match blackswan's instead, that'll be a dps loss in longer run... Bro I can't 😭. Like I get we want our DOT units to apply DOT first for kafka to detonate. But having other DOT unit out speeding Kafka is just immensely hard. And at that point they are sacrificing ehr% or atk% substats instead for speed...
Hi, so if I have a BS at 160 speed+3.2k atk, should I swap out the spd boots for atk boots since then I have exactly 135 speed and a bunch of free atk (3.7k)?
it depends but technically u dont wwant black swann too fast but uw ant her fast enough so id say yea go to 135 speed altho i run my black swan super slow to rack up that damage lol and i dont run glamoth so yea go to 135 but its up to your prefense u got lucky sub statss fr gj
invest in units like Kafka for future value and it can pay off, BS+Kafka+RM is amazing . RM speed buff also puts my BS and Kafka past 160 spd for Glammoth. very fun and sp efficient team and as a bonus they are all fine as heck
I use E1 Black Swan with Blade, she helped me 0-cycle MoC 11 lol. Even though DoT isn't the main focus, with Ruan Mei she can still do respectable damage from the delays and Arcana/Wind Shear detonations when the enemies try to recover.
@@Kurppalumppu hes doing a 0 cycle on floor 11 with an e1 character that just got released. Its pretty reasonable advice for a person whos doing 0 cycles. And even if he didnt its still useful to be aware of. Also u can guarantee a bronya from standard banner which many players already have.

I'm actually trying to pull for another copy of her on my alt account (already have her LC) for the versatility of her E1. Makes her able to amplify other DOT units I use like Serval and Guinaifen (no Kafka either on this acc). Her E1 would boost Blade's Damage on any enemy that has Arcana stacks since that counts as wind shear, so Blade gets the benefit of wind RES reduction + def reduction from Black Swan's skill. Would Bronya's buffs really result in more DMG than Blade + BS + Ruan Mei combined in such a scenario?
@@Kurppalumppu yes, thew enemies are already wind weak and u get res shred from ruan meis ult. the def and res shred do not make up for the 100% advance forward and the dmg and crit dmg buff from bronya. Also for a 0 cycle with black swan u want at least ruan meis sig to get ur ult early enough and without fine fruit on ur healer ud probs need to build more spd on her than ud want. Idk if all that investment to make it work is worth it tbh.
Why would you want Kafka to be faster than BS? You'd want to trigger dots with Kafka after applying them with BS. Yes, she applies dots at the start of battle, but you're missing out on the def shred and extra dot application by having Kafka outspeed her and trigger dots before BS has a chance to do that. That might be the case only for the first turn... but even past that, you want as many arcana stacks on the target before Kafka goes for the trigger which would require BS going first. I could only see Kafka outspeeding BS as being valid if she vastly outspeeds her.

As someone who pulled for E0S1 Black Swan but missed out on Kafka's rerun because of losing the 50/50 on Ruan Mei made me go broke (in game), do characters in these games have more than one rerun? And if yes how often do they happen? I deeply regret for not breaking my Mintpicker virginity and swiping for Kafka because I didn't know how important she'd be for Dot comps. (Skill issue I know) I'm running Black Swan with Guinaifen and Ruan Mei for now. HSR is my first gacha I'm like 2 months in as of now and have no idea how Genshin and HI3 do their rerun banners and I want to go all in on Mommy Milkers Dot team for the long run.

have you considered using march 7 (EHR) with moment of victory lightcone as the sustainer slot? ult to freeze enemies and make them take "extra turns" to more DOTs procs?
So I have a question I have a mid speed Kafka and Black Swan, both with 134-135 speed and 3000+ attack using Speed boots. Should I change Black Swan boots to Atk% to make a lower speed but higher attack Black Swan or keep it as is?
I think you should stay with speed boots to get to 134. The only exception is if you have Mei and her speed boost can get you to 134 speed while using attack boots. Asta could work for that as well. Having 2 turns per cycle is going to be better overall since you will get more energy, more arcana and more skill points. Having more arcana and having her ultimate active will translate to more damage.
@@bromegaman5962Yeah, I do pair them with Ruan Mei and the 134-135 are their speed stats before factoring buffs. If I took out the Speed boots though, Black Swan will lose 25 speed, and getting to 134 again with only Ruan Mei isn’t possible, unless she’s using Hackerspace, which my Ruan Mei doesn’t since I’m giving her Watchmaker set
What are your thoughts on running Black Swan with Dr. Ratio? She inflicts debuffs for him including a def shred and since he's single target only she can help tremendously by taking down the adds herself. There is obviously better options for Dr. Ratio but she can't be the worst I think it should be decent.
I do it and it's a pretty similar experience to running Little Gui with Dr. Ratio. Little Gui and Black Swan both apply multiple debuffs which Dr. Ratio loves, help deal with adds and provide AOE dmg. Probably not the most optimal but it works. Edit: heck, I just realized you can even run Ratio + BS + Gui + Sustain and it probably won't be the worst thing in the world. Gui's vulnerability debuff stacks well with BS's def shred, Ratio applying imaginary weakness break to an enemy gives BS more time to stack Arcana, Gui can apply DOTs with just her basic and trigger Arcana when BS ult is active, etc.
kafka can trigger black swan 25% vulnerability from her ultimate if kafka cast her ultimate on enemies turn ( only when enemies is in double action scenario )
What do you mean by triggering her Epiphany debuff? The delay is already used up with the first action, so what does Kafka's ult do differently with it?

Her LC has a big difference compared to even S5 eyes of prey or GNSW, mainly due to def ignore it provide. But since you have S4 eyes of prey or maybe even S5 before mission start you can use those and pull for jingyuan LC instead. This is jingyuan's rerun and if you missed his LC then you're going to have to wait for a long time while BS will have a rerun after a few patch
using tingyun is better in simulated universe because you can unlimited max stack for black swan, but it is kinda overkill because damage is so high that last boss is melted, using two sustain more easy run because boss still can one shoot
Teacher. What are your feelings on using Fire TB with Trend of the Universal Market as your sustain unit to apply guaranteed burns to help increase Arcana stacks? I'm wondering if it's competitive with Huohuo.
It's maxes at 3 stacks when triggered by allies. So if won't help if you kafka s1 but it will add stacks on enemy turn. Not sure if bs will add an extra stack via her basic atk on not.
Huohuo straight up is too useful for dots to not use atm. Her atk% and energy charge add to much value. Energy alone takes out a full 30 energy for her ult. Allowing you to 2 turn if you have err rope/ penachony 2 set.
i actually got an insane team comp that nobody ahs thought of, hope u see this poke but ill post a video on it, so its black swan gepard with light cone that when he gets hit he triggers burn, huo huo and any dot character, i do prefrer guinifen but pela and sampo as well this is a team without kafka tho and i still do 50k plus damage maxed out talent for the detonates gepard keeps my team alive and huo huo adds er and attack and is sp efficient while gepard jus auto attacks to get his ult black swan i sometimes keep uptime on ult for 2-3 turns in a row so i get like 30 plus stacks without black swans lightcone and no eidolons, it did take me some time to figure out the kinks to make this happen but tis so busted its funny
i also don't run galmoth on black swan i run the effect hit rate orbs bc i don't have a gold effect hitrate peicce yet so i have 3.5k attack with 130 hitrate with jus a little speed
My highest dot is 110k with black swan, samp, asta and huohuo. After killing automaton fishes on svarog. Still missing 20 ehr and my eyes of prey is s1.
I run Black Swan, Sampo, Ruan Mei and Lynx and I clap cheeks on the Golden Calyx in the Snow Plains…fuck those ice bat monsters. They ain’t got shit on me.

The math show that BS increase kafka DoT damage about 20-30% but I personally feel like my Kafka DoT team become more significantly much stronger even against enemies without lightning/wind weakness. is it because I run with full premium DoT team (Kafka, BS, Ruan mei, Huo huo, all fully built) Also, My kafka has 4.4k attack with 128 base speed while my BS has 3.4k attack with 143 base speed. Should I lower my kafka attack for higher base speed? (my kafka will hit 3.9K attack and 149 base speed If I switch her boots)
In your case, you would want to switch to speed boots only if you can hit 160 on Kafka. Since you have Mei there to add ~10 speed, you are almost there. For Swan you could go down to 124 base speed with atk boots, then you would get 10 speed from Mei to get up to 134. Or if you're able to get up to 150 with speed boots, then she could get to 160 as well. That would be difficult though, due to her needing much more EHR subs, but it's possible.
Mr Pokke, what's ur take on the BS sphere, assuming that I will be using her as a standalone without any buffers like RM or Asta, Wind DMG% orb or ATK% Orb??? Which is better?
Generally Atk% sphere are BiS in most case, but the difference is really small unless you use RM of which the difference is somewhere above 10%. Go with the one that has better substats

Ruan Mei are really good with DoT team, but shes not needed. Ive been replacing her with pela, asta and sometimes tingyun and doing just fine. I guess its just the case of people used to using the best team and not planning to go back
I don't believe dot is the "strongest in the game" I think this is over 5 turns or some BS where the content doesn't exist. If it wasn't backloaded sure, funny how it was such a big issue when calculating JY dps

The one thing I learned is an e0 s0 black swan is hardly an upgrade over e6 sampo or guinafen. She only becomes a significant upgrade at e1. Unfortunate since I invested so much into dot already and was expecting more out of her.
Were you not listening to 10:35 he literally said she’s consistently a big upgrade to all e6 4* dot, and he’s not wrong she’s way better at baseline I’ve already hit up to 320k arcana in swarm disaster and she’s not even fully built. Sounds like a build issue on your part

Honorable mention, E1 Black swan Can work as an amplifier because as long as the enemy has arcana, which is always, it will have -25% wind res and because of her skill, they will also have -20% defense, which is equivalent of having a second Ruan mei ult on three enemies and a character like blade gets more damage amp with e1 Black Swan than He will with Bronya, and Wind Heng gets 100% wind pen straight up
E1 BS with Bladie is really fun! You just cut through Wind weak enemies like butter and everything else like foam
I just run e0s1 kafka, e1 bs and e5 gui to maximize the -25% shred res since I don't have ruan mei. I'm pulling for 1 more gui for e6, that+1 firekiss is a really Good upgrade.

i thank you GENUINELY for this video, with a simple exchange of relics between my kafka and black swan (i was running fast BS with a kafka 1 spd behind due to misinformation from yt commenters, idk why i listened) i stacked atk while maintaining 134 spd and allowing kafka to go faster, going from 8k to 20k on a single arcana stack while running asta. feels good
the same as me actually, my black swan is 164 and Kafka is 130+something i watched some channels and they just followed what they said.
@@gameralove6418fast BS only works when you have an equally fast Kafka. What most people got wrong about their speed tuning is that BS does not need to be faster than Kafka, but faster than the fastest enemies in the game which are about 155 spd. They just assumed that you only need to make everyone faster than Kafka to apply the dots and then forget about it and in the end either made their Kafka dogshit or killed BS' atk. In fact you can do just fine with a 102 spd BS with 4k atk and a 170 spd Kafka. Both Gacha Smack and Braxophone stressed this too: you either build her super fast, or no speed at all

Same team I've been trying, but with E0S1 Kafka and E1S1 Black Swan. I do swap Huohuo for Gepard in SU though cause of invincible shields, though.
I'm so glad I was forced to pull for Huohuo as I was in desperate need for a better sustain unit.
I can now run several teams very comfortably knowing I have a good enough variety for MOC clearing or any other endgame modes, thankfully.
Huohuo is soo good... i thought i was really regret pulling her because i already have luocha AND fu xuan, (no gepy nor bailu) soo no really need for another sustain and that still stands too this day if u have those two, u are all good to go..... but my thoughs on pulling for her was the cleanse mostly, in my head the game was going to shift heavily on debufing the players... was not the case.. at least not as i was expecting... but now she is my number 1 sustainer... i only replace her with fu xuan when the comp needs more crit rate and thats it... if the comp is good on that... huohuo it is, ....my poor luocha is almost perma benched now lol... but no completly tho.. some comps i prefer him
i legit pulled huo huo on acciden and it was the best thing i couldve done without her amazing heals and cleanses i would not ahve made it far on my acc well i did have kafka so i was fine when i got kafka but huo huo took me to another level fr
HuoHuo is such a great unit, really amazing upgrade for any account but I still feel we need an specific sustainer for DoT comps, a Physical Healer that can apply Bleed, buff DoT DMG and deal some DMG, something like a lifestealer (+Adult or Medium Female model).
@@vickdinvick5485 Luocha is good if you need extra SP, so like a slower but more greedy playstyle. He's a decent AoE breaker too, and good with clutch heals (2T cd tho). I like to build him fast because he can reset his field very quickly.
For DoT teams tho, HH is the clear winner here. But LC or RM won't be too far behind. Would be nice to see a chart for their dmg contribution in Kafka + BS team, like the 3rd slot comparison chart in the video.
@@theatter1837 ohh dont get me wrong.. i think luocha is fantastic... hes soo good that hes kinda overkill if u have decent build units, like 3.2k+ hp and 1k+ def on everyone... on those scnearios is can go more offensive with huohuo... for the energy... but overall i think u right is not much of a dif betwen them dmg wise.... and fast luocha is the way to go imho, no for the field itself but for the free skill heal to be ready faster.

me started playing hsr because of black swan after getting her in reroll . realising that kafka banner was 1 patch before 💀
MrChokke, from my experience, i found it very cope if I do not run Ruan Mei with the DoT comp. I tried replacing her with the other DoTs like Guinaifen or another support like Asta and from seeing it on my end, the damage isnt just a 5% dps loss. It was to a point wherein i found DoT comp ass without Ruan Mei. Was I doing something wrong?
Also, for the E6S5 teams, yea, the problem then becomes the enemy arent strong enough to handle their damage. And well, the fact that an E6S5 Jingliu is so frontloaded but better consistency due to her Spectral Uptime being longer (from experience) compared to an E6S5 DoT comp is quite huge. Not saying that the E6S5 graph is wrong but when everyone is doing a gazilliion amounts of dmg, it would come down to how soon can they deal that damage on a 0 cycle clear. Plus to be perfectly honest, an E6S5 Jingliu is able to 0 cycle MoC12 (with or without Ice weakness) even if she does not have her best supports like Bronya and Ruan Mei. (im saying 0 cycle coz if ur a damage dealer that cant 0 cycle at E6 then you might as well just be a skill point generator lol)
I agree. I tried it out too, and running E6 Sampo or E6 Guinafein was just no where the level of even my E0 Ruan Mei. It's not a slight DMG increase, it's quite apparanent. + Break efficiency+ speed + delay, all of those essential aspects are all lost.
I also feel like Ruan mei is much stronger addition for kafka than it looks like.
Yeah, also if you're aiming for Breaks, then the 3rd DoT may or may not help if they don't hit the weakness element of the enemy, while Ruan Mei can boost the break efficiency of your team so as long as the enemies are weak to Lightning and/or Wind then Kafka and Black Swan would be enough to break them

One thing I want to add is Asta is way better than other support for DOT because she not only offers same amount of DPS boost but also full team speed up, which means your healing/shielding unit also performs better, and you get way better survivability than Pela or other DOT units…

@MrPokke E0 Luka can trigger bleed with his enhanced basic to 80% but E6 permits him to trigger 8% for each Punch before the uppercut. That's why he's still viable against physical weak enemies even at E0

i have been using bswan at 140 speed and kafka at 136, which made sense to me as bswan would apply/increase arcana before kafka does everytime but professor pokke said kafka should always go before bswan. Can anyone explain why that is so?

not a theorycrafter or anything, but here's what i think
not only does kafka benefit from 160 spd thanks to glamoth, but having that speed allows kafka to act twice in a single cycle, essentially allowing her to trigger arcana after bswan's application in the same cycle anyway (i may be wrong on this but that's what my understanding is)

I noticed that Arcana gets put on the enemy team on turn 0, so I actually run my welfare Dr Ratio with my Black Swan because I only have 1 set of follow up attack relics (that Ratio is currently town biking with Topaz) and even as the debuff tag enabler, Black Swan is way better than any other unit I have, especially if I want to auto-play the fight for whatever reason.
Interesting to see that at least as far as damage you dont lose too much for subbing out ruan mei. Nice to know if my other team is really struggling i can give them my ruan mei for an extra bump
I started after Kafka Banner was over around 7 days ago and i got Black Swan.She still does alot of Damage without even having Sampo.Just slower.(Dr Ratio helps with the Dmg).But i wish there was a way to pull Banners from the past for new players.Without waiting alot of time.(Like a "Choose the Unit Banner you want for 1 Week" or smth)
For 0 cycle enjoyers, Black Swan, Kafka, Ruan Mei, Tingyun. That's the team you want in my experience. I got a 0 cycle clear in MoC 12 second half using this. All three 5 stars are at E1 for me. Black Swan and Kafka have their signatures. I unfortunately do not have Ruan Mei's, but hers would help. I used Carve the Moon on Tingyun to deal with some energy issues I had since I don't have Ruan Mei's signature, but DDD has some strong benefits too. In this team, you may want to experiment with an ERR on Kafka to reduce some of the rng, although I did stick with an attack rope, I had to have some things go my way to get the Ults up when needed which wouldn't have been as bad with an ERR on Kafka. Just some insights.
I did something similar except using huohuo instead of ruan mei.
Easily hit 50 stacks and cleared in 2 cycles.

I have a good question, my BS pre RM buff is 152 speed and 3.3k atk, my kafka with goated pieces on atk boots is 3.9k atk and 137 speed(could be at 4.2k and 140 but had to swap pieces to BS for speed tuning) after RM buff they end up being 162 and 161 respectively before the enemies even get a turn, is this the optimal speed tuned build for this Team(RM, BS, Kafka, and HH)cuz this video u said ud want a med speed BS and a fast Kafka so I'm asking which is better?

I was so stressed debating with this streamer on tiktok that said BlackSwan absolutely have to be faster than Kafka, if not Kafka won't have anything to detonate. While I think in theory it is right, but him reviewing accounts, and stressing out that BlackSwan has to be faster than Kafka, just stresses me out. Like what bro you prefer people to just lower their Kafka speed to match blackswan's instead, that'll be a dps loss in longer run... Bro I can't 😭. Like I get we want our DOT units to apply DOT first for kafka to detonate. But having other DOT unit out speeding Kafka is just immensely hard. And at that point they are sacrificing ehr% or atk% substats instead for speed...

I use E1 Black Swan with Blade, she helped me 0-cycle MoC 11 lol. Even though DoT isn't the main focus, with Ruan Mei she can still do respectable damage from the delays and Arcana/Wind Shear detonations when the enemies try to recover.
just replace her with a slow bronya and ull do more dmg in that team.

I'm actually trying to pull for another copy of her on my alt account (already have her LC) for the versatility of her E1. Makes her able to amplify other DOT units I use like Serval and Guinaifen (no Kafka either on this acc).
Her E1 would boost Blade's Damage on any enemy that has Arcana stacks since that counts as wind shear, so Blade gets the benefit of wind RES reduction + def reduction from Black Swan's skill. Would Bronya's buffs really result in more DMG than Blade + BS + Ruan Mei combined in such a scenario?
@@Kurppalumppu yes, thew enemies are already wind weak and u get res shred from ruan meis ult. the def and res shred do not make up for the 100% advance forward and the dmg and crit dmg buff from bronya.
Also for a 0 cycle with black swan u want at least ruan meis sig to get ur ult early enough and without fine fruit on ur healer ud probs need to build more spd on her than ud want. Idk if all that investment to make it work is worth it tbh.

Why would you want Kafka to be faster than BS? You'd want to trigger dots with Kafka after applying them with BS. Yes, she applies dots at the start of battle, but you're missing out on the def shred and extra dot application by having Kafka outspeed her and trigger dots before BS has a chance to do that. That might be the case only for the first turn... but even past that, you want as many arcana stacks on the target before Kafka goes for the trigger which would require BS going first. I could only see Kafka outspeeding BS as being valid if she vastly outspeeds her.

Yo HSR community! As someone who pulled for E0S1 Black Swan but missed out on Kafka's rerun because of losing the 50/50 on Ruan Mei made me go broke (in game), do characters in these games have more than one rerun? And if yes how often do they happen?

have you considered using march 7 (EHR) with moment of victory lightcone as the sustainer slot? ult to freeze enemies and make them take "extra turns" to more DOTs procs?
Why should Kafka be faster than Black Swan? Isn't a faster Black Swan better since she can apply a defense shred first before Kafka?

I have a mid speed Kafka and Black Swan, both with 134-135 speed and 3000+ attack using Speed boots.
Should I change Black Swan boots to Atk% to make a lower speed but higher attack Black Swan or keep it as is?
I think you should stay with speed boots to get to 134. The only exception is if you have Mei and her speed boost can get you to 134 speed while using attack boots. Asta could work for that as well.
Having 2 turns per cycle is going to be better overall since you will get more energy, more arcana and more skill points. Having more arcana and having her ultimate active will translate to more damage.

If I took out the Speed boots though, Black Swan will lose 25 speed, and getting to 134 again with only Ruan Mei isn’t possible, unless she’s using Hackerspace, which my Ruan Mei doesn’t since I’m giving her Watchmaker set

What are your thoughts on running Black Swan with Dr. Ratio? She inflicts debuffs for him including a def shred and since he's single target only she can help tremendously by taking down the adds herself. There is obviously better options for Dr. Ratio but she can't be the worst I think it should be decent.
I do it and it's a pretty similar experience to running Little Gui with Dr. Ratio. Little Gui and Black Swan both apply multiple debuffs which Dr. Ratio loves, help deal with adds and provide AOE dmg. Probably not the most optimal but it works.
Edit: heck, I just realized you can even run Ratio + BS + Gui + Sustain and it probably won't be the worst thing in the world. Gui's vulnerability debuff stacks well with BS's def shred, Ratio applying imaginary weakness break to an enemy gives BS more time to stack Arcana, Gui can apply DOTs with just her basic and trigger Arcana when BS ult is active, etc.

Her LC has a big difference compared to even S5 eyes of prey or GNSW, mainly due to def ignore it provide. But since you have S4 eyes of prey or maybe even S5 before mission start you can use those and pull for jingyuan LC instead. This is jingyuan's rerun and if you missed his LC then you're going to have to wait for a long time while BS will have a rerun after a few patch

Teacher. What are your feelings on using Fire TB with Trend of the Universal Market as your sustain unit to apply guaranteed burns to help increase Arcana stacks? I'm wondering if it's competitive with Huohuo.
It's maxes at 3 stacks when triggered by allies. So if won't help if you kafka s1 but it will add stacks on enemy turn. Not sure if bs will add an extra stack via her basic atk on not.
Huohuo straight up is too useful for dots to not use atm.
Her atk% and energy charge add to much value. Energy alone takes out a full 30 energy for her ult. Allowing you to 2 turn if you have err rope/ penachony 2 set.
Had to skip ruan mei to ensure black swan but I won 50 50 so desperately waiting for her rerun lol

i actually got an insane team comp that nobody ahs thought of, hope u see this poke but ill post a video on it, so its black swan gepard with light cone that when he gets hit he triggers burn, huo huo and any dot character, i do prefrer guinifen but pela and sampo as well this is a team without kafka tho and i still do 50k plus damage maxed out talent for the detonates gepard keeps my team alive and huo huo adds er and attack and is sp efficient while gepard jus auto attacks to get his ult black swan i sometimes keep uptime on ult for 2-3 turns in a row so i get like 30 plus stacks without black swans lightcone and no eidolons, it did take me some time to figure out the kinks to make this happen but tis so busted its funny
i also don't run galmoth on black swan i run the effect hit rate orbs bc i don't have a gold effect hitrate peicce yet so i have 3.5k attack with 130 hitrate with jus a little speed

Arcana is applied with 65% base chance whenever an enemy enters battle (talent lvl 10)
With archeron being nihility, we 'll eventually be able to make a team of archeron-black swan-kafka-natasha for a huge tetten DOT
Acheron is not DoT, leaks show her kit to be closer to Welt
My highest dot is 110k with black swan, samp, asta and huohuo. After killing automaton fishes on svarog. Still missing 20 ehr and my eyes of prey is s1.

The math show that BS increase kafka DoT damage about 20-30% but I personally feel like my Kafka DoT team become more significantly much stronger even against enemies without lightning/wind weakness.
is it because I run with full premium DoT team (Kafka, BS, Ruan mei, Huo huo, all fully built)
Also, My kafka has 4.4k attack with 128 base speed while my BS has 3.4k attack with 143 base speed.
Should I lower my kafka attack for higher base speed? (my kafka will hit 3.9K attack and 149 base speed If I switch her boots)
In your case, you would want to switch to speed boots only if you can hit 160 on Kafka. Since you have Mei there to add ~10 speed, you are almost there.
For Swan you could go down to 124 base speed with atk boots, then you would get 10 speed from Mei to get up to 134. Or if you're able to get up to 150 with speed boots, then she could get to 160 as well. That would be difficult though, due to her needing much more EHR subs, but it's possible.
Mr Pokke, what's ur take on the BS sphere, assuming that I will be using her as a standalone without any buffers like RM or Asta, Wind DMG% orb or ATK% Orb??? Which is better?

Generally Atk% sphere are BiS in most case, but the difference is really small unless you use RM of which the difference is somewhere above 10%. Go with the one that has better substats

Ruan Mei are really good with DoT team, but shes not needed. Ive been replacing her with pela, asta and sometimes tingyun and doing just fine. I guess its just the case of people used to using the best team and not planning to go back
I don't believe dot is the "strongest in the game" I think this is over 5 turns or some BS where the content doesn't exist. If it wasn't backloaded sure, funny how it was such a big issue when calculating JY dps

Ruan mei es mejor, es normal pensar que tienes a kafka si juegas un equipo de dots, kafka es el pj principal de dots, es la que permite que estos equipos sean verdaderamente fuerte.
The one thing I learned is an e0 s0 black swan is hardly an upgrade over e6 sampo or guinafen. She only becomes a significant upgrade at e1. Unfortunate since I invested so much into dot already and was expecting more out of her.
Were you not listening to 10:35 he literally said she’s consistently a big upgrade to all e6 4* dot, and he’s not wrong she’s way better at baseline I’ve already hit up to 320k arcana in swarm disaster and she’s not even fully built. Sounds like a build issue on your part

Luka talent at e0 can proc bleed with 85% dmg at lvl 10, why is e6 needed just for another 24%?
At e6 he triggers bleed multiple times with every hit of his enhanced basic
